Who's Worth It? Cheryl Has Selected The Winner
Cheryl Cole has selected the winner of our 'Who's worth it' competition – congratulations to Susan Jenkinson! Nominated by her daughter Charlotte, they'll now be jetting off for a trip to Paris!
Here's Charlotte's nomination, "A kind, loving and inspirational mother who 5 years ago donated a lifesaving kidney to me. She is definitely worth it!"
This is what our winner Susan had to say, "What a lovely surprise opening my emails yesterday to say I had been picked by Cheryl Cole as a winner for the 'Who's worth It' competition to win a trip to Paris!
I contacted my daughter Charlotte who nominated me straight away and we were both 'over the moon'. My two other daughters Caroline, Becky & my husband too were very happy for us both.
Charlotte was diagnosed with Kidney Failure in 2006, and I donated my Kidney to her and the operation went ahead successfully on 3rd August that year. We will be forever grateful and full of praise to Leicester General Hospital and their wonderful team for giving Charlotte a new 'lease of life' - THANK YOU from both of us.
A thank-you to Cheryl too for picking me, but would like to add Charlotte is definitely 'worth it'!
