An adaptable and astute businesswoman, in 2006 Eva Longoria set up her film and TV series production company, UnbeliEVAble Entertainment. In 2009, she presented and produced the National Council La Raza ALMA awards, which honour artistic accomplishments of the Latino community in TV, cinema and music. In 2011, the actress published her first cookery book, Eva’s kitchen: cooking with love for family and friends. In 2011, Eva played the lead role in two films: Cristiada and Without Men. She also performed a voiceover for the animated movie Foodfight.
A people's actress, Eva is spokesperson for Padres Contra El Cáncer, an NGO that improves the quality of life of Latinos who have cancer and their families. She also founded the association called Eva’s Heroes, which helps people who have mobility and development problems.
