TAKING THE POP WORLD BY STORM.

Born in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Cheryl rose to fame in 2002 when she auditioned for TV’s Popstars The Rivals and won a place in ‘Girls Aloud’. The group have gone on to become one of the most successful girl bands of all time. In 2008, Cheryl became a judge on TV reality show, The X Factor, where her warmth, flair, nurturing manner and personal style captivated the nation each week. Cheryl has become an entity in her own right since she unknowingly left Newcastle, over a decade ago, to supply some of pop culture’s finest moments throughout the noughties. She has now sold over 10 million records, her debut single ‘Fight For This Love’ reaching number 1 in 10 countries. Cheryl has received two Brit Nominations, an accolade she’s hoping to build on with her latest release. Needless to say, she has a wealth of red carpet experience.

A LEADING STYLE ICON.

It comes as little surprise that Cheryl has become a leading style icon. She has graced the cover of British Vogue twice, the first time becoming the highest ever-selling February issue in the title’s history. The fresh-faced and alluring Cheryl is recognised as one of the most beautiful women on the planet and in 2009 she was named by FHM (UK) as the world’s sexiest woman.

Cheryl is a L’Oréal Paris Spokesperson and is associated with the Elnett haircare and Casting Crème Gloss hair colour ranges. Discover all the videos of Cheryl in the latest L’Oréal Paris advertising campaigns!

CHERYL IS COMMITTED TO GIVING BACK.

In February 2009, Cheryl joined an expedition to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in order to raise money for Comic Relief. Following this in 2011, Cheryl announced the launch of her own charitable foundation with the Prince’s Trust. The Cheryl Cole Foundation will provide funding to work with disadvantaged young people from Cheryl’s hometown of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and surrounding areas of the North East of England.
