I am a bit of an experimenter when it comes to dye, and when I saw this and thought I'd give it a try! The colour is advertised as Indigo Blue, however when applied to my bleached hair which had a tint of green from a previous washout colour, it came out a very vibrant metallic purple which I know will fade to blue in a few washes, but I've rated this 5 stars, as the starting purple colour is lush, one of the nicest colours I've had in a while. I applied the cream solution from the tube directly onto dry hair, and washed out after 20 minutes, which states more vibrancy on the instructions. Overall I recommend to any vibrant colour lovers who want great results, without the effects of a permanent dye.

I have curly Afro hair, and I bought this back in summer. The first time I tried it, it was a beautiful blue colour. However after washing out the second and third time, the colour started to turn green. It looked awful. I tried ketchup and colour removing but none of it worked. I then decided to just dye my hair black all over and it definitely covered all the green. I then got bored of black so wanted to go lighter, unfortunately the green was still in my hair when I tried to bleach a bit. Around December time, I went to the salon and she also had green hair before, she said the best solution is to dye over the green with a red hair dye. So I started dying my hair red every 6 weeks from December and I can officially say I have no green in my hair anymore!! My hair is like a ombré red/honey gold/blonde colour now and I absolutely love it. For anyone thinking this is going to be permanent, please try red hair dye! You need to bleach your hair before the red dye everytime, just so it lifts the colour for the next time. Trust me I was very close to cut all my hair off and start over, there is hope! Hope everyone finds this review helpful, and please boots discontinue this product...by far the worst product I’ve used.
