Great matte hair product with a nice cedarwood scent. Provides good medium hold for messy styles without being greasy or sticky. Works well on short/medium hair and is easy to apply/rework. Good value for daily use

Hello, I am writing to you about loreal barberclub matte molding clay I just want to say what a fantastic product this is. Not only is it a product that smells good and that provides good support for your hair, but it is so refreshing to find a product which doesn't leave your hair sticky or thick if you were to run your fingers through! There have been other instances of good products which for some reason lose effectiveness once that item has been reformulated. I really hope you don't go down that route Absolutely fantastic product - thank you!

What does it do?

My husband found that it didn't have to enough hold for his very short hair. I thought it might be a cheap alternative to Moroccan oil texture clay but unfortunately not

Bought this for my partner when it was very cheap. He absolutely loved it so I have bought it again even though it’s more expensive now as it’s the best one he says he’s ever used. A lot better than much more expensive brands. Also use on my son who is nearly 6 and it’s the only one he will let us use

I always use L’Oréal barber club products. This one great addition to my grooming routine. It smells subtle and nice, very light texture. It has no greasy or shiny look. Long lasting hold.You need little amount for a great result.

I’ve always been one for styling my hair but recently I’ve struggled to find something that done what I was looking for. Fortunately i came across this as gel just wasn’t cutting it anymore for me. Now my son has started using it aswell and he loves it

The first thing I've noticed about this product is the smell. It really smells great! I'm very picky when choosing hair products and have been using another brand for a good few years. After trying L'Oreal Men Expert Barber Club Matte Molding Clay, I can honestly say I'm going to use it everyday from now on. It has the perfect strength and consistency and delivers a great matte effect. Great product!

Was really interested in this product. It was really easy to use, didn’t have to use too much of it. I worked a small amount into my hair and it stayed exactly how I wanted it all day. Also didn’t leave my hair feeling stiff or greasy.

Love this moulding clay. It doesn't weigh my hair down or leave it looking greasy like a lot usually do. It's easy to use and to move around in the hair to create the desired style. It feels nice when applying and smells great. Lasts all day or night. Recommend to all with any style!

Good hold for medium length hair. leaves your hair with a slightly solid edge, but not so strong that its like a hard hat! Somewhere in between wax and strong hold gel.

This was a great product which I would highly recommend. The texture was good and not sticky like other products on the market. The smell was very pleasant and despite testing the medium hold it really lasted all day.

I've been a fan of the Barber Club range for a while now, and the beard and hair wash is a constant on my shower shelf. With that being said, I was excited to try out this product, hoping I could add it to my permanent collection. First of all, it smells great which should be a surprise to no-one. Even my wife commented on how great my hair smelled after using it. I have quite thin hair, and found that although it held it well at first, most of the effect had gone after a few hours. I think that someone who uses clay will love this product, but as a regular paste user, those kind of products just edge this out for me.
