Usage

Use once a week to complement your regular Elvive Colour Protect routine. Massage into hair and leave for 1-3 minutes before rinsing well and follow with our Purple Conditioner.

Keep out of reach of children. Wear suitable gloves. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes rinse immediately and thoroughly. Only use for hair colour correction purposes.

Severe allergic reaction suffered

Used this a week ago as I'd had blonde highlights put in. Have had an allergic reaction which has still not alleviated and I still have a red, itchy, puffy face. Only used it once and never will again. I had purchased the purple hair mask to compliment it but luckily didn't use it. I've NEVER has a reaction like it.

I am undergoing the process of going grey and this shampoo brightens the silver in my hair and underplays the orange tones of the dyed hair. I leaves my hair a little drier than usual but I counteract with a hydrating conditioner which I leave for at least 10 minutes.

I was recommended using a purple shampoo when I let my natural grey hair grow in lockdown. I’ve had only good compliments since using this. I use it once a week leaving it on for just a minute before rinsing. It really does enhance my colour which looked dull before. I’ve even been asked what colour dye do I use!

I had beautiful white grey hair and just wanted it brighter a wee bit washed my hair once with this shampoo and darkened my white hair awful results went in the bin now I have to try natural to get my hair the way it was a beautiful white, if you have white or grey hair I wouldn’t use this shampoo made my hair dark.

I used Elvive Purple Shampoo today on my hair today, which is white at front graduating to deep gold and brown roots at back. My hands and nails were stained purple, and although I've washed up etc all day, my nails are still grey.6 hours later. My hair looks just the same so disappointed with this.

It gets rid of any warm tones in my dark blonde hair and leaves it feeling lovely. Combined with the colour protect elvive range it works really well.

But this product does dry your hair a lot. you cant miss not shampooing with this or it turns back again. i recommend putting it on dry hair before the shower as i feel like it works better. use a hair mask with this product to prevent drying.

I also love that it’s for brunettes too as it works on my darker roots. Would recommend using alongside the conditioner as it does make your hair very dry after using a few times.

This shampoo I use once a week and it just neutralises all my brassy yellow tones. I leave it in for a few minutes and it turns my hair from yellow streaks to golden blonde. Really recommend and is super cheap compared to salon shampoos. Smells incredible and doesn’t stain hair purple

I used both the shampoo and conditioner and was careful to keep them in for less than the recommended time as I was sceptical as to the colour it would make my hair. I kept both in for one minute, which caused some of my hair to fall out. My hair is also awfully dry now. I usually like Loreal but this shampoo is absolutely awful - do not buy.

Does anyone know how on earth to remove the nice purple stain that now sits in my 80/20 wool mix grey carpet, laughing at me as I attempt to remove the purpleness. L'oreal if you can supply an answer I will stop moaning and write a nice review.
