Usage
After shampooing, apply to wet hair on lengths only. Massage for 8 seconds, then rinse out, avoiding contact with eyes. Follow with a regular conditioner if needed. For optimal results, use with the Elvive Colour Protect range.
Tips: Use 1 dose (20ml) for fine to medium hair or 2-3 doses for thick to curly hair. Use another dose as needed for extra long hair. Blow-dry hair for even greater, shinier results!

great but HOW

I used this on my fine, med. density, 4b hair when prepping for silk press. I continued using it going back to curly and doing wash n gos- img etting more compliments on my hair - specifically that my curls look good and my hair looks darker (i think this is a result of my hair being shiner and smoother). its weird tha tit gets hot when i apply it so maybe its a similar technology to things like Aphogee?

I’ve been using this conditioner for years so not sure if formula has changed but it’s leaving my hair sticky and greasy. I’m going to have to change to a different product. Also since new coloured container price has increased as well.

Don’t waste your money

Very disappointing, followed all the instructions, but it made my hair worse, instead of shiny & 8x more hydrated, my curly hair came out dry, frizzy & matt. Tried it twice, & both times I got disappointing results. Don’t waste your money, because it does not do what it claims on the bottle.

L' Oreal Elvive Colour Protect Lamellar Water, it's ok , but, not as good as I thought it would be. It didn't stop my corse, naturally Auburn hair from going frizzy, in the damp, and it didn't make the ends of my hair silkier either... SO , I guess it's the wrong product for me...

I don’t usually leave reviews but I feel like everyone needs to know about this product. I have naturally thin and fine hair which was then over-dyed over a few years, and this is the only thing that now stops my hair from being frizzy, and I’ve tried so much including lots of high end brands. Absolute miracle worker.

This smells good and after using I felt it was easier to get the brush through my hair and it was softer. I found that it isn't easy to get the correct dose and to make sure you coat all your ends if your hair is a bit shorter.

Made hair soft. Smelt lovely. Hair was quite damaged before hand and this has made a difference. Also makes it easier to get the brush through my hair after washing as the purple shampoo I use can often leave it dry

Bought this as use the shampoo, conditioner and mask and really like all of them, however this is hard to get the right amount of ‘dosage’ to use. I say dose as advise on label is 1-3 doses depending on hair type. I thought you would get a measured dose out when using, you don’t. Very easy to use too much. My hair is shoulder length and fine, but I still haven’t found the correct dosage so it goes limp very quickly.

I've used it a couple of times and my mum asked me what I'd done to my hair because it looked like straw!
It feels warm as you put it on so I was hopeful that would mean it was doing something, afterwards it felt like it had stripped my hair, it was frizzy and knotty, absolutely awful, the rest of the bottle will be poured away, total waste of money, I'm going to have to get my hair cut because I've tried no end of conditioners and hair masks and it still hasn't recovered!

They say you can’t put a price on beauty but let’s be real, we’re in a cost of living crisis! It smells absolutely divine and has a lovely rich but non greasy texture. I have coloured hair so this is fab for me and it’s so hydrating for my hair.

This is just wonderful. 8 seconds to sort all your hair woes. Works wonders in a fraction of the time a hair mask or other treatment would. It leaves my hair looking and feeling fantastic while keeping the vibrancy of my colour. Love it!

Nice product, love the idea but it is a little difficult to use compared to normal conditioner. My hair feels really shiny and smooth after and smells really nice. Definitely helped keep my colour locked in a bit more.

Super silky hair

I actually loved this more than I thought I would! Leave my hair super silky. I don't think I would use it top regularly because I think it might build up, but felt great after one use. It made my hair to slippy for any clips or pins, but amazing if you want a sleek style without being sticky or greasy.

this product was very quick and easy to use! it lasted longer than i expected too, i think i used less than recommended and have quite long hair. it left my hair feels very smooth and soft and the dyed parts of my hair were brighter than ever

Just tried this little miracle in a bottle and I can honestly say it's brilliant. I have quite fine coloured hair, it calms it and feels so light . The shine is amazing and I have barely needed to straighten my hair . It really looks healthy. Well worth it's money.

The product works well, I’m not sure on the added benefits for coloured hair so would probably go for the orange (dream lengths)
The main pro is the effects after only adding for a few seconds, helped my hair feel smoother and it was shinier. This won’t detangle you’re hair.

Colour wonder water

I was really looking forward to trying this product after having used the original version of the wonder water previously. I enjoyed using this colour specific version too. It smells amazing, has a lovely warming sensation when applied to hair and it left my hair feeling absolutely amazing. Great product!

I liked the idea of this product. Something new and innovative. I found it great for making my hair soft and shiny. I suffer from brittle ends and I felt like this made them healthy and I had less breakage. I liked the fragrance and my hair colour seemed a bit brighter too. Would recommend.

Wonder water with colour protection

Another hit for my hair! I really enjoyed using the dream lengths wonder water and this one is very similar but is for coloured hair. It protects my colour whilst providing a deep and quick condition which is perfect for people in a hurry like myself who bleach their hair! It leaves it soft and easy to detangle with less shedding.

I have grey hair dyed dark blond..do hooked it would add some shine..but it didn’t...so next time I added more and waited longer..it still didn’t. Didn’t notice any difference..other than a bit smoother and slightly fuller, but I can get that with other products.
