Instructions of Use

After using Dream Lengths Shampoo and Conditioner, use 1-2 pumps on damp hair before blow drying. Once dry, flat iron. Then, to tame frizz and static apply a small amount on dry hair. In between washes, use Dream Lengths Air Volume Cleansing Dry Shampoo.

I have medium length thick hair - I bought this to get rid of fly aways (I know that it is for anti frizz but I thought it would do it anyway) and it does but it only lasts about 5 minutes and I am back to square one. So I thought I should use it again just to tame the frizz but sadly it did not. Please don’t waste your money.

Have used it with air drying and blow drying (I try not to use heat on my hair) and didn't even notice a difference, so the instructions to blow try and straighten to 'activate' seem to just cover for the fact the product itself doesn't do anything, the straightening does.

A shame, because some of L'Oreal's other conditioners (e.g. the purple hydrating one) are incredible for my hair, and I was hoping that would apply to this one as well.

My hair is quite thick and frizzy, when I applied the serum onto my hair it made the frizz go away and it also made my hair feel smoother and more soft. I also found it easier to brush my hair which was a result. This is perfect for anyone who has really thick hair and is looking to get rid of the frizz.

I have long hair just below my shoulders and the ends are a little dry and this product actually makes it feel worse, it's also really sticky and makes it really hard to even get the brush through your hair. This product also has isopropyl alcohol in it which is quick drying but also dries out your hair in the process so I say avoid. Purchase some argan oil instead.

There is absolutely no stickiness to this product on hair or hands, I’d go as far as saying it’s the least sticky hair product I’ve used and it does not make your hair tangled and stiff at all. It’s not a miracle cure for dry frizzy hair but it has definitely helped mine look smoother. I like how you can use it on dry hair as well as wet for a little extra smoothing and also that I can put it on my roots without it making my hairy look greasy. Most other serums say not to use on roots, what use is that? having heat protection an added bonus. Overall I’d say this is a good product and I will definitely buy again.

I use this on damp hair and dry hair (2 pumps on damp and 1/2-1 pump on dry hair) It's great for frizz and taming your hair. My hair is slightly wavy without straightening however, using this it makes my hair pretty much straight without the damage! I use this everyday until I re-wash my hair to help with my dry ends. My hair overall looks in much better condition since using this product so I will definitely be re-purchasing!

Sometimes I just put some on the ends of my hair if it feels a bit dry or frizzy, but I’ve come to the conclusion it doesn’t actually do anything. It certainly doesn’t ‘kill frizz’ and actually leaves my hair feeling a bit rough and sticky. It’s a shame as the shampoo, conditioner, mask etc are really good. Think I stick with Moroccan oil.

And at first I really enjoyed using this as I do have really frizzy hair and this seemed to give me the sleek look I wanted without making my hair greasy. Love this product when I straighten my hair. However I do have naturally curly hair and since using this my hair has become very very knotty, i can only assume its because of the sticky texture. I havent changed anything else in my hair routine and since stopping using this I'm no longer having the problem. Such a shame as this does work for flyaways but I will not be repurchasing.

I love the rest of the dreamy lengths collection but this wasn’t the one! Left my hair tangled and frizzy and was a nightmare to brush. It made my hair feel super fluffy and more frizzy than usual. It's definitely a frizz-killer, and really helps smooth my hair when blow-drying. I'm trying to grow my hair and this serum is definitely helping to reduce the amount of split ends I have. It doesn't weigh my hair down or make it greasy. I have quite thick hair, so do have to use a fair few pumps.
