I am loving this shampoo, I use this as my regular shampoo then have a detox shampoo for once a week. My scalp is dry, roots are oily and ends are dry but this leaves my hair satisfied from root to ends. Lovely smell, great lather and tonnes of product.

My hair does feel more moisturised after using the hydra pure shampoo. The shampoo feels quite lightweight with a pleasant smell too.
It made my hair less dull and easier to brush through.

Seems to work on fine hair.

I have fine hair, greasy roots & dry ends. Tried every shampoo for volumising, thickening, caffein you name it bought it.But all made my lank hair worse greasy next day after washing everyday. I tried this and seems to work. No greasy scalp, ends of hair appear nourished. doesn't matter about 72 hr claim as I will continue to wash regularly. Don't need conditioner.

Clay one was better, bring it back please!

Whilst this is as good as I'll probably get for greasy roots and dry ends, it doesn't leave my hair feeling as smooth and soft as the clay one did. I really hope they bring it back :(

Best shampoo I’ve ever tried

I really struggle with shampoo and this is the best shampoo I’ve ever tried. I have very oily fine and thin hair and I usually wake up with very oily hair every morning. This has me waking up with no grease - and I can’t believe it! When I first used it it made my hair oilier and thought it wasn’t going to work for me, but I stuck at it and it’s now the best shampoo I’ve ever tried!

Lightweight cleansing but drying

This shampoo is great for cleansing without leaving behind lots of heaviness or making your hair greasy. I managed to get a few more days out of my hair wash compared to more nourishing shampoos. It does leave my hair really knotty though and I'm getting lots of fall out.

If I could give this range a 10-star rating, I would!! FINALLY found a shampoo and conditioner that leaves my hair feeling soft and light, rather than caked and greasy. I have tried so many other product and none of them come close to the constant softness this shampoo offers. I can only recommend to everyone who feels their hair has residue and gets oily quicker after using other products….. this is the one you need

Ruined my hair

If I could give 0 stars I would. I don’t usually write reviews but I feel other people should beware of this shampoo. I typically have very soft, shiny, healthy hair( courtesy of good hair care ) and I saw this product and thought I’d give it a try as my hair can get a bit oily at times.
I used it once.
My hair is so dry it feels like straw.
I can’t run my hands through it it’s like hay even after detangling and brushing and a good conditioner.
Honestly it breaks my heart because I poor so much attention into ensuring my hair is healthy and this product truly has ruined my hair it’s gonna take a lot to mend this.

Hydra 72 hour shampoo

So I bought the whole package to try,the sculp serem, shampoo and conditioner but it did not work. I tried it not only once but twice with the same result the next day my hair was oily again. I have been struggling with oily hair for years and thought this product would help me but it did not disappoint in this product as I spent alot of money and even bought two shampoos

Read that this was the next best thing to use for greasy hair, after the discontinued clay shampoo and conditioner. Unfortunately, it just doesn't do the job for my hair. Both the shampoo and conditioner smell nice.The shampoo doesnt really lather up very well , so you need to use more. My hair looks greasy again the next day. Please L'Oréal bring back the clay shampoo and conditioner.

I gave this to a relative who lived it! She said that it was very good at clearing scalp build up, and left her hair feeling clean and healthy. She said her hair didn't get as greasy as quickly which is exactly what she needed.

Horrible. I bought this shampoo thinking it would make my roots less oily but did the excact opposite making my roots even oiler also left my mid hair lengths and ends super dry and knotty even after using a hydrating conditioner and hair mask I had 3 massive knots in my hair irritated my scalp too and lost a quite big chunk of my hair after just one wash highly don’t recommend this product

Very disappointed to say the least. My roots are very oily and wanted to give this product a try to see if it would help but it only left my roots even more oily after use aswell as leaving my ends extremely dry and tangle I had giant knots at the ends of my hair and this was even after using L’Oréal Paris hydrating conditioner and a hair mask. Dried and irradiated my scalp too and also lost a big chunk of my hair just after one wash highly dont recommend buying this

Hair feels super soft and refreshed after using this, can easily leave hair for 3 days before washing again and the scent of the shampoo lasts! Many compliments on the scent, even days after washing my hair.

Super clean hair

A classic L’Oréal shampoo it performs exactly how you would expect. My hair feels clean and smells great. I would say that I don’t notice a difference between this and other L’Oréal shampoos in terms of additional hydration etc as it claims but a good shampoo nonetheless

I’ve been wearing my hair straighter during the winter due to having bobble hats and the likes on and I found this excellent in combatting the lengths vs roots dilemma - especially when you’re throwing so much more product on your hair to combat the colder months.
Really went a long way for clarifying for build up while not stripping.

Soft and clean hair

Whats not to love, your favourite shampoo but in a smaller, more eco friendly bottle!
As always, this made my hair feel soft & clean and the fragrance was fresh with a fruity hint.
Plus with it being a slightly smaller bottle (but same amount of product) it now fits better on my shelf.

This is such a lovely shampoo. Feels so lovely and nourishing. I have teamed this with the conditioner and can notice an improvement already, my hair looks less flyaway, Im hoping it keeps improving the more I use it. The smell is lovely and I could smell it all day.

Amazing shampoo if you have dry hair as I do. It really makes a difference. Y hair is visibly hydrated and looks so much healthier. It is soft, shiny and manageable. I like to use it with conditioner from the same range.

The perfect combo for oily scalp and dry lengths

I was excited to use both the Elvive Hydra Pure 72h Purifying Shampoo and Conditioner. My scalp is greasy but my lengths are dry so its hard to get products that cater to both. The salicylic acid and hyaluronic acid are the perfect combination. The shampoo is highly concentrated so a little goes a long way and the salicylic acid gently clears the flakes from my scalp, leaving it feeling fresh. Then I can trust jn the hyaluronic acid to prevent my lengths from drying out. I highly recommend.

My hair has been feeling super dry and looking like straw. I've been looking for a new hair care range to help my hair look and feel normal again. Great for stretching out a days between washes

I normally have to wash my hair nearly everyday, but this shampoo is great for oiler scalps. It has kept my hair hydrated without making it greasy and oily. Therefore i have been able to stretch out a few more days between washes.

Moisturised but not weighed down

As it comes into summer, I'm met with the hair problem I have every year. I don't like my hair touching the back of my neck when it gets hot, so I tend to always wear a hat. This makes my scalp irritated, my roots greasy and the ends snapped where I've shoved it into a messy bun. This shampoo helps by gently cleaning the hair with salicylic and hyaluronic acid, which removes all the grease build up but leaves my hair moisturised but not weighed down.

From the first wash my hair felt super clean and elvive hair products always leave my hair looking hydrated and shiny.
I can go several days without washing too and my hair looks in amazing condition.

Nice and smells great! All these shampoos had such nice smells, you can’t go wrong with that aha. Nice shampoo to use and easy to apply. Will need to use it longer in order to see the hydrating aspect of this shampoo

This is my favourite shampoo and conditioner, I struggle with dry damaged hair, due to colouring regularly. This shampoo and conditioner duo results in my hair feeling hydrated. This makes my hair much easier to style. I have also had many compliments how healthy my hair looks. Love this product.
