Usage

How to use
On clean skin, apply a thin layer all over the face, 2-3 times a week. Avoid the eyes and lips. Leave to dry for 5-10 minutes, then remove with a wet towel or warm water.

I bought this to test on my acne and acne scars. I have used it 3 times a week and have had several compliments in how amazing my skin looks. Can not recommend enough for acne sufferers

Bought a small sample of a few L'Oreal face clays and honestly my favorite skincare product. It leaves my face feeling smooth moisturized, it visibly looks cleaner around my pours. Also found that I am less oily for the next few days in the places that I use it across my face!

Blemish free skin!

I had seen and heard of so many people using this product therefore I had to buy it to see what the hype was about and I’m glad I did! Firstly, I love a face mask that comes in a jar! It’s much less messier than buying one that comes in a squeezable packet. It’s a nice not so thick but not so thin consistency and give very good coverage when applied on your face. It washes off very smoothly. After a couple of times using this product, my skin tone had become a lot more even and my blemishes were clearing up. This is now a staple piece in my skincare routine. I love it!

If you have dry skin i reccomend this so much !!! It brightens your skin up and gives it a glow the only downside is if you stop using it you start to break out again

It's really working

I've been searching for face masks for a long time, now I had found it. It mattifies my skin and leaves it purified. I don't have any problems with its smell. I would recommend using twice a week because it can dry out your skin. Also, I like its design, it's soo cool that they have packed into a glass jar.

This is a great moisturising mask and it did make my skin look brighter and clearer however I still definitely prefer the L’Oréal pure clay charcoal mask, this gives my skin a nice deep clean!

I gave this mask a go, it does leave my skin feeling very clean and fresh however it does dry my face out. I do have quite dry skin so have to be careful with what product I use but I think every now and again I will use this over my other mask for a change

Use to apply and rinse off. In one application, it leaves the skin smooth, oil free and more radiant. Skin remains shine free for a long time, and helps keep acne at bay.

Don’t use if you have sensitive skin this stung so badly and brought me out in red patches. It wasn’t made dry areas of my skin worse. All the other masks in this range have been great it’s just a shame about this one

its so sad to say but I didn't like this mask. I put it on and wanted to wash it off right away as it burn so bad, the mask was too harsh for my skin and left it feeling very dry. I don't know why I had this experience with this mask as its for oily skin which is what I have. this may not be right for oily skin

I really enjoyed using this mask to cleanse and purify my skin after a long week. The fragrance is refreshing and the eucalyptus makes it a relaxing mask. It draws out impurities and oil and skin feels clean afterwards.

Such a great scented product - reminds me of when you're cutting the grass and there's a delicious fresh scent to the air. Not specifically a grass smell, but that super fresh air smell. Performance wise it's great. I've taken to getting lazier with applying masks and using my fingers to apply rather than a brush, but it applies and even layer with little effort and doesn't go patchy as you apply or build up in certain areas. I found it really easy to wash off/open/close the product. It was also really easy to get off if you ended up too close to the hairline. Skin wise after I washed it off my skin felt tighter but not dried out. My breakouts seemed much calmer by the next day and my skin definitely looked much calmer for the mask. Overall great mask!

Applied this all over my face. Left on for about 15 mins before washing off. Left my skin clear and soft. Also matte in my more oily areas. Really easy to apply. Lovely eculuptus smell. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love these face masks, they leave my face feeling super clean and fresh without that tight skin feeling. I use them about twice a week as part of my skin care routine and there is one to match any skin care concerns I might be having. I highly recommend them as there is one to match every skin type.

I love this mask!! I suffer from very oily skin and visible pores and this works on both. Skin feels healthy after using this and reduces oil and tightens pores. My go to if I’m going to a special event and want my skin to look on top form :)

I have always preferred clay masks but struggle to find ones that don't irritate my skin, the first time I try'd this is was a bit concerned as the smell made me worry about perfume being in the product and irritating my skin, I didn't see results first time as I think I left the mask on to long but after another time using it and as from now it always leaves my skin looking clear and fresh.

Great product, soaks up all the oils in my skin without drying my skin out. Leaves my skin so soft and clear. Like to use it after opening my pores with a hot cloth and find it really digs out the dirt. Finish with a good moisturiser such as Simple Oil Balancing Moisturiser and your skin is gonna thank you!! Treat yourself to a pampering!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Nadz8912 from Great I have always preferred clay masks but struggle to find ones that don't irritate my skin, the first time I try'd this is was a bit concerned as the smell made me worry about perfume being in the product and irritating my skin, I didn't see results first time as I think I left the mask on to long but after another time using it and as from now it always leaves my skin looking clear and fresh.

Like to use it after opening my pores with a hot cloth and find it really digs out the dirt. Finish with a good moisturiser such as Simple Oil Balancing Moisturiser and your skin is gonna thank you!! Treat yourself to a pampering!!

My skin is fairly oily and I suffer from breakouts around my jaw line and large pores. I bought the charcoal one first as I felt it suited my skin best but I did find it to be a little harsh and drying for my skin although I did like how clean my skin felt. Second time around I decided to try the eculyptus one and I'm so glad I did. I still get the same clean feeling but my skin feels so soft and hydrated whilst also removing the excess oil from my skin. I can't say if it'll have any long term effects but I will keep using it for sure. I'm big on skin care and have used simple products for many many years as its the only range that doesn't cause irritation but I have to say l'oreal have nailed it on this! Thank you!

It was easy to apply, dried quickly, removed easily and left my skin feeling smooth and lovely. It had a very pleasant smell, similar to the type you would expect in an expensive spa. I bought it at the reduced price but would happily pay full price for such a good product. I may even persuade my husband to try it!

Thanks to the clever idea of having a larger pot, so you can get many mask applications rather than just one, we targeted the clearing eucalyptus to areas of our skin that needed TLC. Our favourite way to use the Purity mask was in combination with the Detox mask. This really cleared and settled our skin. The formula is smooth and comfortable on the skin, and came off easily with a flannel and hot water. A lovely addition to a skincare routine.

When it's on the mask feels quite tingly - I imagine it might not be great for very sensitive skin but was fine for me, with skin that's just a bit sensitive. It feels nice and smooth to apply and is easy to remove with a flannel. The second time I used this I really started to feel the mattifying properties and my face felt less greasy for a couple of days which is great - since my recent holiday my forehead has been oily and this definitely helped. This mask for me comes a close second to the glow mask, which is why I've given it 4 stars.

Today I thought I would give my review based on my true end result from using the product for a while. So here we go. I have been using all 3 of the L'Oréal Pure Clay face masks which are glow, Purity and detox and all I can say is they're amazing!! My face feels and looks like a million dollars. I couldn't have asked for a better product to test. Before using L'Oréal Pure Clay face masks my face was oily, spotty and just lacking in life but now after 4 weeks, well see for yourself in my photo!! I feel amazing and I have L'Oréal to thank for it. I have well and truly loved this product and I am so thankful I still have plenty left to use until it runs out:) I would recommend this product to everyone so get buying the product guys and see your results appear:)

Having used it a few times, I can confirm that my skin looks less oily than it previously did. I have a slightly oily T-zone but thus mask has improved that greatly. The mask applies smoothly and dries quickly and has a subtle but nice smell. After washing it off, my face felt cleaner and softer. It is slightly messy to apply and take off but that's the same with most masks that I have tried. The mask felt good and definitely improved the appearance of my skin. I'd recommend this product to anyone looking to rejuvenate and purify their skin.

In glass tubs, the packaging was beautiful and I was thoroughly impressed before I even started applying. Of course I tried them as soon as they arrived!! I tried the Purity mask first, the green one, with eucalyptus, personally this one is my favourite and I think it smells really fresh. It felt super smooth to apply and felt cool and nice on the skin, I was surprised when I read the box that it only had to be left on for 10 minutes, but wasn't going to complain! As the 1o minutes progressed the clay on my face got harder and harder, more difficult to smile and show any kind of emotion, it got crispy and a little cracked. No unpleasant feeling but very aware it was on my face! When it came to removing it was relatively easy with warm water, and oh my god did my skin feel amazing afterwards! My routine is to do the mask in the evening apply my night cream afterwards and it just feels amazing. My skin feels instantly tighter, and feels so smooth. I've genuinely never tried a mask which actually works immediately like this one. For the first week I must have used it three or four times and my skin responded really well- glowing and much fresher, but due to my schedule and a lot of travelling recently i've not been so religious so I haven't noticed long term affects such as less visible pores, but I have no doubt it does what it says on the tin. I will continue using now that I'm back into my normal routine and cant wait to see the results..

The purity mask smells particularly good to me, although that might just be my imagination (they all smell nice). Like the others, it's a very smooth consistency that's easily applied and washed off, and the results are great. My skin felt smooth and soft afterwards, and after a few weeks of intermittently using a variation/combination of all three, my skin has been particularly glowing! Would definitely recommend to anyone, especially if your skin is in need of a little pampering, and I'll be buying again in the future.

After using this mask my skin is so soft and fresh that I have become addicted to using it again and again and again. It is almost fully used up now and I am going to buy another L'Oréal Purity mask very soon. It smells nice too. The mask is very easy to apply as is the rinse of the face. I was pleasantly surprised with how my face felt and looked when I first time used it and I still have great results when I use it now. Purity Clay mask is part of my weekly routine of looking after my skin. L'Oréal has a lot of great products, and this mask is definitely one of them.

Upon first use, it felt quite tingly and tightened the skin of my face pretty fast. I thought the sensation just meant it was working and while, indeed it purified and mattified my skin, minimising pores, afterwards my face felt too dry and it was slightly uncomfortable even after applying moisturiser. The smell was divine, very fresh but not overwhelming. The best way to remove the mask is by using baby wipes as to avoid the clay messing up your bathroom. I would recommend the mask for people with more oily and less sensitive skin. The price is fab!

I suffer with an oily t-zone so was looking forward to giving this one a go! Like the other two masks it smells nice and has a smooth texture. I applied the mask to my t-zone and relaxed for ten minutes to let it work its magic. Although my skin was mattified immediately after removing the mask, the effect didn't last long so I was slightly disappointed. I have used it a few times since, but unfortunately the results haven't been as good as expected. Overall this was my least favourite out of the three so I probably wouldn't purchase it, but I'm glad to have been given the chance to try out the whole range.

My pores actually appear smaller and my skin looks healthier in general. I was quite sceptical at first, especially when I'd seen the price in the shops (less than I'd thought) but I honestly did see results after the first use. My skin looked and felt as good as when I've been and paid a fortune for a facial at a salon. It's easy to apply and remove and the smell is delicious, I could even smell it a few hours after I'd washed it off. I love this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having had problem skin for years - thankfully now improving - I'm very familiar with clay masks. I've always found them the best for their purifying properties and was interested to see how these new L'Oréal Masks compared. I really liked the packaging and thought the glass tubs felt very high end with silky smooth product in attractive colours inside too. I did get feedback from others that it didn't seem very environmentally friendly though. I found the masks very easy to apply and loved the smell, particularly of the purity mask. I found the texture very creamy and pleasant - possibly feeling less effective than my usual thicker clay masks but far nicer to use. I loved that they only take ten minutes to work too - perfect for busy lifestyles. I liked that they were similar in their base consistency and ingredients but had different main ingredients. This allowed me to mix and match to form the perfect masks for my combination skin which for me was one of the main benefits to this product. The main downside for me was that they were very messy - particularly the detox mask. I used a sponge designed for removal of clay masks which kept mess to a minimum but I wouldn't have wanted to use it without! They did feel slightly less potent than my 'posher' thick clay masks but worked t far less time - I'll probably use these regularly with an additional thicker mask every few weeks. Will definitely be buying again! Well done L'Oréal :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by NikolaNiki88 from L'Oreal Pure Clay Purity Mask [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] L'Oreal Pure Clay Purity Mask I massaged it into my face before applying a thicker layer and allowed it to dry for 10 minutes. As the product was drying, my skin did feel quite tight but it didn't feel uncomfortable and I didn't experience any heat, tingling or itchiness. Once it was dry, I used a a warm flannel to remove the mask. Admittedly, it's not the easiest of masks to remove but I didn't have to vigorously scrub. Normally, after using a face mask I find my skin tone is slightly red so I was surprised to see that I wasn't left with redness just clean, fresh skin. Plus, my pores felt tighter. I've used this mask twice in the last 5 days and have noticed my skin does seem less oily and more mattified. I think the affects would last with continual use but I wouldn't be surprised if the oily-ness returned if I stopped using it. I've also found any spots I had have gone and there doesn't seem to be any new ones waiting to surface.

It contains Eucalyptus and smells really lovely, I’ve used it a couple of times now and I’ve noticed it really helps with blackheads and shine, it’s great at drawing out dirt and excess oil and makes my skin soft and smooth. So if you suffer with blocked pores and oily skin this is the one I’d recommend. The purity mask smells AMAZING but really cools and rehydrates the skin. I definitely noticed a difference after this mask, my skin looked glowing and soft.

The colours are a bit garish but it does the trick! The texture is thick and smooth and goes on easily. I used this two days after using the Detox (black clay) mask to purify my skin and it definitely worked! The detox clay brought out a few impurities in my skin sonny applying this mask this fixed those problems straight away! My skin was lovely and smooth and had a gorgeous glow to it and any redness in my spots was totally taken away. This product smells amazing, my favourite of the three masks, is really simple to use and highly recommended!

The fresh scent was uplifting and the eucalyptus helped to soothe and brighten my skin. The mask was easy to apply and to remove. The mask had a lovely creamy texture and did not leave my skin feeling dry or taut. My skin felt nourished and moisturised after use and has now formed part of my weekly skin care regime.
