This L'Oréal Voluminous X5 8 ml special formula mascara is designed to make your lashes look visibly thicker, longer and yet still natural looking. It's suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers and can be easily removed with normal eye make-up remover. Just stroke it on and marvel at the way the brush fibres coat each eyelash fully and effortlessly without clumping or flaking of mascara. Available in Extra Black colour. Ambient type storage.
Usage
Comb the brush through lashes by moving back and forth from root to tip. Layer multiple coats for even more volume.

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?!?! oh my gosh bring back the original formula!!! Thought I bought a waterproof tube, did not!!! This is horrible! Have been a faithful user for 20 years, but will NOT buy again until the old formula returns!

Stain, smudge mascara

The product is expensive and after only 2 hours, the product smudge below the eyes.
Have to clean the smudge 4 times day, very disapointing.

Claims: No Clumping - it comes out clumpy. Also, after about 2 or 3 hours of wear, you end up with more under your eyes than on your lashes. The worst I’ve ever experienced.

This is my desert island product. I've used a lot of mascaras over the years and this one is by far the best. It adds lots of volume and lengthens too. I don't get any smudging, as some other reviewers have mentioned (I don't have oily eyelids, so maybe that's why?). It really transforms the look of my eyes, I can't rate this highly enough!!

Was looking for a water based mascara. Still not sure if this is. But you can’t fault ANY L’Oréal mascara. I can pick one with my eyes closed and I’ll know it’ll work well.

Everyone’s eyelashes are different and require something for me I have used this for years and in my opinion is the best mascara out there. It lasts well gives lashes a nice full look without being clumpy or straggly.

Absolutely 100% is not waterproof. Tried and tested 3 separate times. Walked 20 minutes in unexpected bad weather. Lovely application brush but far better mascaras than this. I cant believe other reviews say anything other. Its as if its a fix.

Worst mascara I’ve ever used

This mascara doesn’t add volume and within a few hours of application it smudges above and below the eye so you’re having to wipe it off all day until there’s no actual mascara left on your lashes! Don’t waste your money, I’m now having to buy a replacement because it’s just not wearable

I only use Loreal volunous x 4 purple cover.
I'm devastated it's been replaced with this carbon black. It goes on great however smudges above the eye and below all day. Very disappointing. I'm trying to find my one to buy as I'm running out and no where sells it anymore just this black cover one I can't wear.

I think this mascara is worth every penny. It does a great job of lengthening the lashes. It has been a stable item in my make up bag for year's and always come back to this great product.

One of my 'old' favourites. Go back to this time and time again. No fancy packaging or 'funny' shaped brushes. No gimmics, but you get lovely longer, thicker, darker lashes. It doesn't smudge on me, but everyone is different, I suppose
