Skin looks worse

Not tried for very long but first day I tried it, I woke up more wrinkled than day before. I looked like I suddenly aged 20 years. They need to put warnings on bottle about what you can and can’t mix with it - guidance is lacking - I put moisturiser with retinol on top so maybe too drying? Looking online there is a very high concentration of alcohol so it is probably drying out your skin more than anything. Also only used a few times but dropper struggles to get anything out. Wouldn’t bother unless you only use mild moisturisers with no active ingredients and want to try something new. Only positive is that the bottle looks lovely, but I assume it will be impossible to recycle it all!

I bought this around 5 days ago so not seen any difference in my skin yet. I thought I'd try it, as it was on offer - half price - at Waitrose. What I wanted to feedback to L'Oreal was this serum smells like a cheap shampoo. It's really off-putting.

I'm very disappointed with the design of the bottle. The serum is too thick for the design of the bottle and the applicator is useless. There is serum left at the bottom of the bottle which is impossible to get out

I am confident not wearing makeup now as my skin is glowing,, dark spots from spots are disappearing and my skin is very soft. Definitely worth full price although I got this on special. It is a thick liquid which spreads very easily so you only need 4 - 5 drops max to amply cover the face and neck. Very slight but lovely scent to it . My skin erupted in spots when I first started using the age spot rapid corrector serum from L'Oréal - they disappeared after a week or 2 but it was not pleasant. No such problems with Midnight Serum. Very impressive indeed. The bottle is an absolute 'mare! Pretty on the outside BUT very difficult to get the product out with the silly pipette. The serum is simply too thick for a pipette. The bottle and pump used for the Age Spot Rapid Corrector would be ideal for this. It might even reduce the price slightly as the company will be purchasing more units of the pump bottle. Cosmetic companies need to dump the pipette - a gimmick which has lost its allure. The consumer wants containers that don't waste product and are not ridiculously fiddly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Osland from Annoying pipette takes the shine off this serum I wish I'd taken heed of the reviewers stating that the pipette was awful but no, oh no, I thought it couldn't be that bad. How mistaken I was. I'm sure this is a lovely product but trying to get the serum out is almost impossible and I've resorted to just tapping (well, a bit more than tapping) the bottle and using my fingers to apply. Still doesn't work effectively to get the serum out. I'm glad this was a Tuesday offer as I will not buy again.

It has a nice feel and have been using for just over a week, along with the Collagen creams. My skin has a more even skin tone and appears smoother, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can you change the applicator on the bottle. The product doesn;t want to come out, its too thick for the type of applicator. I am hoping I won't be wasting any product as it isn't cheap and it works. I want to carry on buying & using this. But please re-think the packaging. And a bigger bottle option would be nice too. I use twice a day and cannot see it lasting too long. (The smaller bottle is good for travel hand luggage).

Works well, can see my face feels more even skin toned and smoother. The trouble is getting the product out of the dropper applicator. It doesn't want to budge and is annoying. Please L'Oreal, design and use a different style of bottle/applicator.

This was the only new product I had introduced, so i stopped using it. Once my skin had recovered I reintroduced the product to be sure this was what had irritated my skin and not just a coincidence. As soon as I'd applied it I could feel my skin tingle. I don't have sensitive skin so this was surprising. Other than that the pipette is pretty useless and getting the serum out. Not a great product in my opinion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by richdee from Midnight Serum I was gifted some L'Oréal products at Christmas and was pleased with the results so looked into the range and recently purchased a whole bunch of day and night time products for myself. I am pleased with the results so far and can definitely see a difference in my skin texture. My only complaint is the Midnight Serum...the dropper works fantastic on your other serums but you definitely need to go back to the drawing board regarding the dropper on the afformentioned product as in this instance, I'm sorry to say, it's useless! Before I purchased the Midnight Serum I read reviews about the products and a few people also mentioned the dropper not being useful with this product but I still went ahead and bought it not fully realising the problem. There is going to be a lot of wastage with this product as once it is less full it's going to be tricky getting it out. The serum is too thick to be used with a dropper. Due to this problem I definitely won't be buying the Midnight Serum again.
