A rich repairing day cream enriched with Manuka Honey and Calcium B5.

For anti-sagging and smoothing Manuka Honey is famous for its repairing and medicinal properties.

This powerful raw ingredient is concentrated in essential nutrients and minerals. Calcium B5 is known for its fortifying and moisturising properties, and also as an antioxidant.

The L'Oréal Paris Expertise L'Oréal Paris laboratories have formulated and combined these ingredients, creating Age Perfect Intensive Re-Nourish Day Cream, a rich restoring formula specifically designed for mature, very dry skin. The nourishing cream helps provide the optimal conditions for the skin to repair itself, while helping to restore the skin's density and barrier function.

I have been using this for several months and love it. It is rich and creamy, smells lovely and absorbs BUT nowhere on the product or packaging (that I can see) does it say that it includes an SPF. In this day and age I would expect it to protect from the sun!

Best face cream for dry menopausal skin

Have used this thick but very absorbent cream for the 1st time as my skin had got very dry through menopause and it’s actually sorted my skin out after the first few days. Don’t need too much each time as cream is thick at first but absorbs very quickly to leave skin super soft. Am definitely buying again as no other cream (have tried a lot) has sorted my skin so well and so quickly. Highly recommend to anyone with same problem 👍🏽

Really lovely face cream. Lovely scent. I did think initially that it was too thick for me, however it is great for the winter. I feel it gives me protection from wind and cold. I think however I will switch to a lighter cream in the summer.

Fantastic find! As a devotee of high end skin care for many years I am delighted to have found a highly hydrating and pleasurable product to use that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Recently retired, I no longer have the funds to satisfy my expensive skin care former routine. I bought this on a whim and have been impressed with the results. A little goes a long way, it feels almost as though it’s cushioned and has a sort of bouncy feel when applied. It goes into your skin quickly and leaves a pleasant velvety feel to your skin. It feels very hydrating and I’m always impressed with the way my skin looks both immediately after applying, and more importantly the next morning. I’m sure my skin is more ‘plumped’ up after using for the past month. It claims to have a firming effect which I would agree with, as my skin appears more ‘toned’. It’s rare these days to find any product that meets expectations let alone exceeds them, but this is one of those. No hesitation in recommending!

It doesn’t absorb well into my skin then after about an hout, I find residue all over my face. Family members have even noticed and asked me what I’ve got all over my face. When I rub or wipe my face the cream flakes off and leaves a greasy residue. Really disappointed as I’ve always loved L’Oreal skin care products. Perhaps I’ve just chosen the wrong product this time? I’m 54, maybe it’s better for more mature skin?

I found the fragrance okay, though I do wish, and think it time, that all beauty products were parfum free. The texture was good - soft and silky and neither too rich or too thin. I also think it will last quite a while as you don't need to use very much. My skin soon drank it in and kept it moisturised all day. I cannot make any comment regarding L'Oréal's claims about it's action on skin smoothness or sagging as I don't suffer from these problems. I would recommend this cream to anyone over 40 with dry skin who wishes to address any smoothness or sagging problems, either by nipping them in the bud or helping to keep them at bay once they become an issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tinkerbelle from This cream was slightly too thick for me to use as day cream, however I've been using it at night for a few weeks now and it makes my skin feel really well moisturised and nourished. A little bit goes a long way so the jar is good value. It smells lovely and doesn't go bitty when rubbed in like some thicker face creams do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 1Blackcat from This is a very rich, thick, day cream. A small amount is all that is needed to give dry skin an intense boost. Lightly coloured it looks very like a body butter, in the jar. No strong fragrance, it is hardly noticeable. Very effective on really dry areas, you can feel the difference within a short time. Great help for us golden oldies.

It can be a little greasy on application and doesn't absorb as quick as some other moisturisers, but it does melt into the skin after a minute or two and feels lovely. I also used this as a night cream because it is rich enough for an overnight application and my skin felt moisturised and glowing in the morning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nita from Received as part of the BelleFamille group, I am very pleased with this cream. Ultra rich, it's more like a balm, so a very small amount is required. I'm not sure it contains an SPF though, even thought it's called a 'Day Cream'. I wish it did, then I'd give it 5*

It has a lovely scent that is fresh and not over powering, and caused no irritation to my very sensitive skin. My skin looked totally different within a few days and felt more supple and smooth, and looked brighter and clearer. I will definitely be buying this product again as it is the best I have ever tried.

My skin feels wonderfully soft and I don't feel the need to re-moisturise during the day even when the weather was hot. I did find that because the cream is quite thick I tended pull and drag my skin a little when smoothing it in. I have only been using this product for four days and I can already feel my face is now much softer and smoother, and it looks healthier and 'dewy'. Would recommend this day cream to anyone with dry skin like me!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Alik from I really liked the concept of this cream, honey has been used since ancient times to sooth and heal skin, and I like the fact that natural ingredients are still being used today. The cream is very rich and has the appearance of butter, it has a really nice smell, although I think it would be a nicer touch if it had a more honey smell. I used the cream first thing in the morning and put on to the very dry areas of my face,but found that it was so rich that it did not seem to be absorbed, even after leaving for a while I was left with a very greasy film on my skin, I think the cream should be rich but should absorb into the skin better leaving no oily finish,there was no way i could put make up on top of this it would have slid off. I therefore tried this as a night cream which I think maybe slightly better, but my skin was still slightly greasy in the morning also the cream had no sun factor which I think is essential for a day cream, not really a hit with me but with a lighter formulation i think this could work. My skin does look slightly plumper,but has been left feeling too sticky.

But I found even using it as a night cream instead of day cream (which is its designated use) it was too heavy for my skin. I didnt want to waste it so I've been using it on my neck and decolotage areas. It has proved beneficial, and my skin has felt soft and nourished.

However, once it had gone I to my skin it didn’t feel heavy. The fragrance is pleasant. This is a highly moisturising face cream and I would recommend it for older, dry skin types.
