Usage
The Barber's Tips - How to Use
1. Put desired amount of oil into palm (2 to 3 drops according to your beard length) and rub hands together to evenly spread.
2. Massage into facial hair ensuring it reaches the skin underneath. For an even more tamed beard, use brush or comb.
3. Wash hands after application.
4. Use every morning.

Unpleasant smell after a while.
I hadn’t noticed this myself, but after a while the oil smells damp and fusty. This comment came from my wife as she offered to buy me a different product.
When the oil is first applied it smells nice but I reckon it gradually wears off (unnoticed by the user) leaving behind the damp smell.

When applied the oil smelt quite nice. After a couple of hours, though, it stank like hair that hasn't been washed for weeks. I only used it once and will not use it again. Was this product not tested before being marketed? Are we to believe that L'Oreal are genuinely unaware of this unacceptable issue?

Bought it a few days ago and while the oil is alright, it has an awful smell after a few minutes of being applied. Almost like vomit, do not buy this.

I bought this for the first time after using another brand for years, and I wasn't disappointed. The oil spreads and moisturises well. A very pleasant smell too that lasts for a hours. I will add the L'Oréal beard/skin oil on my list for future.

Works a treat on my long beard, but my bathroom is cold (it has 3 external walls, as its an extention) and in the winter when it gets particularly cold, the oil solidifies in the bottle. Started keeping it in a different room over winter, but an oil really shouldn't be solidifying.

After about 30mins the cedarwood smells disappears and become a PUNGENT DAMP ODOUR. The damp smell lingers aswell and had my bedroom stinking of damp!! I trusted the good reviews but was not impressed AT ALL! Wish I could refund! Waste of money!

I brought this for my husband who has a big beard naturally, and his hair has been falling out. He’s stopped using it and now his beard is becoming full again. Wouldn’t recommend, waste of money!!!

I like the smell of this but I found it a little too greasy for me. Not sure that this is the products fault however, it’s probably because I’ve trimmed my beard back somewhat so it would probably be fine had I kept my beard longer. Really like the barber club range in general and will be repurchasing other barber club items when they run out.

He has a long coarse haired beard, this oil makes the beard, feel soft, smell great and look groomed.

This is brilliant. I tend to grow a beard but give up due to itchiness, roughness and beard dandruff. This stuff eradicates all & smells awesome.

I have always had dry skin under my beard despite always washing my beard and keeping it fresh I needed a great beard oil to help keep under the beard moisturised and not dried out this helps so much if you suffer with beard dandruff or get a dry beard on hot days

I have been growing a beard for the last 3 months now, and have been using facial wash every night as part of my skincare routine. Together with that, I have been testing the L'Oreal Barber Club Long Beard and Skin Oil for the last 3 weeks now.
I am pleased with the results of this product. It has a subtle cedar aroma, and is efficient at keeping my beard hair feeling soft, while moisturizing the increasingly long ans scraggy hairs on my face, and makes my beard look neater.
You only need to apply a small amount of it each day, so a little goes a long way.
A good product I will continue using for as long as I keep growing my beard!
