Usage

Hadn’t bought this for a while but decided to get a brown one. Not as good as it used to be. Seemed very wet on brow and slightly clotted. It’s a shame the brown is nearly black.

brilliant for blondes

i've been using this for ages and think it's brilliant. i'm naturally blonde with very fair eyebrows and have struggled for ages to find a brow product that is the right colour because they're often very orange/warm toned which doesn't look right on me. this one is amazing! perfect colour and looks very natural. able to fill in my brows easily and i like the shape of the brush. only thing is that it takes a bit of practice to use this just because it can look uneven/cakey if you're not careful with how much product you apply. i'll definitely be repurchasing!

New formula is horrible

Guys the new formula is horrible DO NOT BUY. I’ve been using the old formula for about 3 years and have had so many compliments on my eyebrows. This new formula does not have the same effect, primarily because it doesn’t have microfibres in it anymore. Very disappointed as this used to be an amazing product. L’Oreal is also false advertising by claiming it’s the “same formula with new packaging”.

Too dark

This is waaaay too dark - I have medium brown hair and this still looks really dark (and odd!) on me. I wanted to try a cheaper option to a well known brand, wish I had paid the extra and got a better product. Will not buy again.

I used this product for literally years and it was my favouuuurite, but the new brush for this is so bad, literally gets product everywhere, distributes it super unevenly, makes my brows look awful. Won't buy again and need to find a new product.

I ran out of what is probably the brand leader and bought this because I couldn't get an immediate replacement for it. I am SO pleased! This is much better, gives well-defined very full-looking brows and has redefined my eye area. I cannot believe how natural it looks while completely changing the shape of my brows. Love it!

I've only used benefit products on my brows before so wasnt sure if this would work as well given it's much cheaper. However i was pleasantly surprised. The shade blended well with my own brows and the brush gave them a fuller look. They stayed in place and so far it hasn't seemed to flake which was my biggest concern.

This is similar to a gel brow but not as thick. Good to fill in the little gaps between eyebrow hairs. Nice shade of brown which would match most fair eyebrows. Only downside is that it does clump after a while.

this does nothing to hold my brows in place or make them look fuller. I bought the clear colour to use to set my brows and honestly it does absoloutely nothing. Has zero hold and cant use any other brow products with it as it makes it watery and bleeds into my foundation. I do not know if I have picked up a faulty veriosn of this product as the other reviews are mostly positive but would not waste my money buying again jsut to test it.

This is a great eyebrow serum, clear in colour but sets eyebrows really well. Not sticky or fragranced, and great on my sensitive skin too! Great little brush to shape and move your brows into shape, this conditioned my eyebrows really nicely too.

Can’t rate this product enough. I purchased it on a whim as I hate spending time trying to do my eyebrows. I used to use an eyebrow pencil and my brows would always be wonky and would take me about 5 minutes to do. I tried this and couldn’t believe how easy it was to apply. It holds my eyebrows right in place, makes them look bigger and fluffier and they stay in place for a good 8 or so hours before it starts to smudge a bit. It takes me under a minute to do my eyebrows now. I used to draw them on for special occasions only and now I do them daily!

Great little product! This helps to keep unruly brows stay put! Keeps brows looking plum and on point! Good texture and its nice and easy to use! I love the fact it has keratin and castor oil in the ingredients! Handy size to keep with you too!

L'Oreal Paris Brow Artist Plump & Set Brow Serum probably is the best brow product I have ever used – something I was secretly dreaming of but never thought a product like this would exist! I love that it is transparent, very versatile, good quality and it helps to grow brows naturally (ingredients encourage growth which is what I need to grow thicker brows). Tube comes with a slightly angled and shaped brush which makes it very easy and quick to apply and style brows in few swipes. The clear serum keeps hairs brushed and styled in their place the whole day. No colour makes it versatile to be used in various options and there is no need to match colour. I use it daily for a tidy-natural-casual look or before makeup as a primer, for a bolder look I have used it after putting makeup on and filling in brows – it worked really well to set it with brows looking plumped up and voluminous. Regardless how used it makes brows appear fuller than they really are. Overall I am very happy with this serum and I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

It helps to put gel more carefully. My brows covered with permanent tattoo colour and this gel gives very good finish for my brows.

It's not the most secure setting serum, but easy enough to top up quickly and conveniently. Im not sure there was any plumping benefits, i certainly didn't notice any difference in this area.

Sometimes when you’re going for a more natural look the coloured serums are just too much. At least with the clear it’s easy to use as you don’t see if you go too far. Lasts all day as well!

This serum brushes on easily and I found it tidied and defined my brows without any stickiness. I will definitely continue to use this as part of my daily makeup routine.

It goes on shiny but does get matte once it's dried. I have used the colour ones before and I would recommend those more than the clear.

I applied on a "no make-up day" and it made my brows look fuller and naturally styled and on point! Can also apply with brow colour. Would recommend completely.

I used it to brush neatly downwards instead of trying to plump up and this kept the eyebrows neat and in place all day. There was no fragrance to this product. It kept my eyebrows soft and didn’t go crusty when dry.

It can also be worn on it's own which is great for days where I tend to not wear much makeup as it made my natural brows appear fuller than they really are. Overall I really like this product and it is something I will be using everyday going forward!

I think with thin brows the clear is best used over another product to set it, such as a traditional pencil, to make it last longer. It does dry really quickly though and give a great finish.

The texture still leaves brows soft and the fragrance is neutral which is ideal for a brow gel. Definitely recommend for setting brows all day and can be wiped off after with a makeup wipe/cloth.

I've tried numerous products to help fill in my brows but they have all ended up leaving me with that 'drawn on, artificial look'. Well this is by no means a miracle cure but its definitely a lot better than many other brow products on the market and with practice it gave me natural looking brows that I was proud to show off.
