L'Oréal Kids Kids Extra Gentle 2-in-1 Tropical Mango Shampoo

This is totally different to the old one. The shampoo is clear and smells horrible. Previous one was creamy and had a lovely smell. It is NOT no tears. My kid was screaming in the shower that his eyes were stinging. It has gone straight in the bin.

So I got this to use on my niece for when she comes to stay at weekend. Not sure if it’s my auntie rough touch but she didn’t appreciate when I went to brush and blow dry her hair however the smell was really nice. Have passed it on to her mum to see if it’s just me

I bought it a month ago and the formula was totally different transparent and orange. This was a family favourite with both the adults and kids using it. The new formula dried up the kids hair and the smell was off. Hair smelled bad and looked messy the next day.

I have always bought this 2 in 1 mango shampoo for my kids and I and it was great and cleaned and left hair soft and shiny. This new formula is terrible, doesn't lather up well and leaves hair greasy the next day even when doing double wash with it. Childs hair looks like it was never washed the next day.. Limp and extremely greasy. Please go back to the original formula.

I just bought a new bottle of my favourite L'Oreal Kids Tropical Mango Shampoo and was disappointed to see its colour had changed from a nice silky opaque pink to a clear orange colour. That isn't the only change. I put it on my head, and discovered it produces only a fraction of the lather before, My partner suggested it was just a bad batch but when I compared it with an older bottle I found they had two completely different formulae. The original pinkish opaque colour is formula 118473 G, the clear orange colour is formula 118473 J. This new J variant is a vastly inferior product with minimal lather that does not wash or condition the hair as well as a result. I have no doubt L'Oreal changed the formula solely to save money (even though I had to pay more for this new version which looks identical apart from the small print - formula change - that I have now read). The previous G version is an excellent shampoo. The new version is AWFUL. It's so bad, it's the equivalent of Toblerone cutting out every other chocolate chunk from their bars, and we all know how that ended for them - time to look for a new shampoo, I think.
