okay, so at first I didn't think much of it, mainly because I was using it wrong.. let me elaborate: I sprayed it too close to my scalp and colour went more on my scalp than just my hair, so my initial thought was - I don't like it, But then, a week later I read the instructions properly and gave it another go, and to my surprise, the result was great: I have sprayed from further away, therefore it went on my hair rather than paint my scalp, and over all result was great, was magical, I could get away with another few weeks from dyeing my hair and giving them a breather... So it is a good product, but please follow instructions to get desired result.. xxx

Don't bother buying this product. It made my roots much darker. My hair colour is light blonde and it bought the light blonde spray. In actual fact, my roots looked dark orange!! I have thrown it in the bin.

I really wanted to like this, but unfortunately it did nothing but made my hair feel sticky and greasy. The shades I tried also didn’t work for my hair, despite my hair being blonde and trying 2 blonde shades.

This is much better than I thought it would be Magic Retouch blends in seamlessly with my hair and it is very easy to use once you get used to it.
The nozzle is quite accurate and it is easy to blend in with a quick brush through. It does not transfer or flake off and it lasts all day.
Really good if you have greys at your hairline.

I’ve been using the L’Oréal Paris Magic Retouch Instant Root Concealer Spray, and it’s a great quick fix between colour appointments. It blends well, covers roots in seconds, and lasts until your next shampoo. Definitely worth trying if you need a fast, natural looking touch up!

Very easy to use.
75 ml can does up to 25 uses.
Washes out in 1 shampoo
100% grey coverage.
Covers roots and sparse areas
My magic hack was to apply balm along the hairline area ,so if you make a mistake its easily rectified .
I filled in my hairline with this product a few sprays and im done .
Washes out with shampoo on next wash, once it dries it was set . Thank you for gifting me this awesome spray.

I have brown hair, and this root concealer spray works really well. It covers my grey roots instantly and blends naturally with my hair colour. The spray is easy to apply, dries quickly, and doesn’t leave my hair feeling sticky. It lasts until I wash my hair and is perfect when I don’t have time to colour my roots.

Too warm for my blonde

Unsure about this product, I got sent light golden blonde and blonde. My hair is more on the platinum side so obviously neither of these matched very well. I will say they do cover very well its just very difficult to say it did what I expected since it doesn't actually match my colour. Hopefully there will be lighter ones available to try in future

Tried the L’Oréal Paris Magic Retouch Instant Root Concealer Spray today 💁🏻♀️
I love the idea of a quick root touch-up and fuller-looking hair, but for me this shade just wasn’t the right match. Even the lighter brown looked too dark against my hair.
When I sprayed it onto my hairline, the product also transferred onto my hand and top, and because the colour was so dark it made my hair look a bit like I was wearing a toupee rather than giving a natural finish 🙈
It definitely gives instant coverage and can make sparse areas look fuller, but shade matching is everything with this product.

L'Oréal Magic Retouch is convenient when you need to hide grey roots in a hurry. It sprays on easily, dries fast, and the colour blends reasonably well with natural hair. It's great for emergencies or between salon visits.
However, the spray can feel a little sticky, and if you apply too much it can leave the hair looking stiff or slightly dull. It also transfers onto hands, pillows, or hats if you're not careful, especially before it fully dries. Coverage is decent but not always completely natural in bright light.
Overall, it's a handy temporary fix, but I wouldn't rely on it as a long-term solution. It does the job, just with a few compromises.

Hair gets thinner i guess

It does the job to cover grey but i find i m losing hair from using this. Made my hair thin. I belueve its because of this product.

I have light hair naturally and I have my hair coloured dark brown. I bought the dark brown spray to cover my roots - works amazingly and lasts until you wash your hair next. Really helps with maintaining my hair health and not getting my hair coloured as often, saving less salon trips! I recommend covering your parting with the tail of a rat comb though to prevent the spray staining your scalp and create a neater parting.

Disappointed when I saw that this spray was advertised as for 'all hair colours'. They should change it to 'most'. I have naturally red/ginger hair, and although we are in the minority, we still exist, and still go grey!

A must for me when I cannot be bothered to dye my hair . Be careful when spraying as can get messy, need to spray not too close . Wipes off easy on the skin if you get on your face or on the back of your ears when covering grey bits . Feels a bit sticking on hair but it’s covering up so I don’t care . I have used this for years , I buy from wherever has it on offer

This is quite a nice product to use it definitely does hide the thinning that I have on the sides of my head from constantly having it scraped back in a pony tail or a bun haha! I was initially a bit skeptical about this product but after having tried it I am really pleased and will probably end up buying one when I finish it. I have really fine dark blonde hair - the light brown shade matched me really well and didn't just colour some of my hair, but also covered some of my scalp that was on show due to my hairstyle. It has a little bit of a texture to it when you touch the sprayed area but there's no transfer/it doesn't rub off if you touch it.

There's slight coverage but unless you're using a lot it isn't great. Im auburn/brown/red in hair colour so it's difficult to find specific coverage. Wouldn't say the value is here but probably good for those who have darker hair.
