L'Oreal Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover is specially formulated to thoroughly remove eye make-up whilst still being gentle on the skin.
L'Oréal Paris Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover, enriched with Pro-Vitamin gently and effectively removes eye make-up. Its refreshing formula is suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.
Usage
Remove eye make-up by using a cotton wool pad and gently massaging over the area. Rinse thoroughly.

It does work and there isngt anything wrong with it i would just say that its very similar to just generic micellar water rather than a specific eye make up remiver - ones by Garnier I have had before are much more effective.

I have been using this product for ages! It’s the only eye make up remover that doesn’t cause irritation after use. Other removers cause me to have eczema. Wouldn’t use anything else.

The key word is gentle - this will not remove waterproof or other stay-on-forever eye make up. But for normal mascara, etc., it is brilliant - and I speak as someone who wears contact lenses, suffers from highly sensitive skin (roseacea, etc) and generally finds too many products inflammatory. I have been using this for decades and find it removes eye make up perfectly without leaving any horrible oily, gritty residue.

Disappointing product. Not only it doesn't remove mascara, it leaves my skin itchy and flaky. I've been scratching my face for days after the first use. Tried it once more after a week, same effect: panda eyes and irritated skin. Waste of money

Causing eczema on my eyelids

This year I've been getting eczema on my eyelids for the first time ever. A mild steroid cream was helping but the eczema kept coming back. I couldn't get hold of this product for a while and switched to miscellar water. I noticed the eczema wasn't recurring but didn't associate it was this product until this week when I started using a new batch I just got from Boots. I started using it on Monday and by Wednesday my eyelids were stinging and today (Thursday) I've got full blown eczema on my eyelids again.
I've used L'oreal gentle eye makeup remover for years but this is now a different product so won't be using it again. Annoyingly, because the product was out of stock for a long time, I bought three bottles.

I have really sensitive skin and eyes so this Eye Make-Up Remover is ideal. It takes off all eye make really well without stinging. I’m not sure it would be effective with waterproof mascara though.

This eye makeup remover is incredible! I have severely sensitive eyes and this is the only product I can use. It gets rid of every last bit of makeup without the need to scrub my eyes and it doesn’t sting hurrah!. I simply put a bit on a cotton pad, hold over my eye for about 45 seconds and then wipe away!
The one thing that I really do hate is the bottle! This stuff flows freely out of the hole so be warned it will go absolutely everywhere and drip all over the place. You also can’t store it on its side because of the same reason. All this bottle needs is a rubber seal around the hole like they have on plastic bottles so it doesn’t come out unless you squeeze it. That’s the reason for my 4 stars as the bottle does put me off buying it because half of the product ends up on the floor!

Can't argue with people who say it stings but in my (15 years') experience that only happens when I use far too much - otherwise it's very gentle. You just need to dampen a cotton pad, not saturate it. The lotion takes off every scrap of make up very easily and there's not a hint of oily residue. it's also very reasonably priced.

This is hands down the worst makeup remover I've ever used. It says its gentle on the eyes but it stings like you wouldn't believe - I have slightly sensitive eyes, nothing major, but I couldn't stand to use it more than a few times. It didn't actually take much makeup off and refused to remove any mascara. The dispenser is just a hole, its not sealed in anyway so, the product just spills out whenever you use it. Would not recommend!

I have been looking for a reasonably priced eye makeup remover (for non waterproof eye makeup) for some time. Unfortunately, although this removed the makeup it made my eyes sore, so is being returned!
If any one has found a cheap eye makeup remover that works and does not make your eyes sore - please let me know!

It just not doing its job. I guess that you can use it as first cleanse but it does nothing to remove my mascara besides smudging it and smearing it underneath my eyes. My toner does better job with removing my make up.There are some better options there. It is a shame, as I really like Loreal as brand but this make up removed is just not good

I always used the ABSOLUTE MAKE UP REMOVER EYE & LIP and never had any problems. But, I bought the GENTLE MAKE UP REMOVER EYE by mistake and I had several problems after its use: my eyes were stinging and they also got swollen. I went to an ophthalmologist and she said the reason could be on the make-up. I immediately associated to the new make-up remover, since was the only new product in my routine.

I bought this as I have oily eyelids and I find that by lunchtime, I seem to have a film of oil over my eyes and makes my vision seem cloudy. I've found that primer helps keep the oil at bay and that this makeup remover is gentle enough to take off my primer and take away the oil when I don't use primer. It's really gentle and does not sting my eyes.

I have used this product for several years now and have always found that it gives very good results. It's very gentle on my sensitive eye area, removes all eye makeup very easily and doesn't dry the delicate area around the eye. All in all, a great product for me which I have recommended to friends and family.

I don't understand why this make up remover gets such high ratings. I find that it does not remove my make up easily at all, to the extent that I have to rub my eyes with the cotton pads, which slightly irritates them, and still the make up is not gone.
Before buying this remover I used to use a tiny quantity of facial cleaner cream for this purpose (two different brands, so I don't think the effect was brand-specific). It removed all the make up very easily and it never irritated my eyes. Even though this product is branded as an eye make up remover it does a worse job than the facial cleaner cream. Quite disappointed, but at least it was very cheap and it is better than nothing.

I have been using this product for a number of years but since the new poor packaging the liquid comes rushing out all over my hand and also stings my eyes. It has been an hour since I used it and they still sting. I will not be using this product again.
