Usage

Can't find it anywhere

I've just run out of my anti spot moisturiser, and I can't find it anywhere. It's light, scent free and keeps my rosacea at bay. Why has it stopped being made?

Blemish spot free skin

Used this a few times does wonders for my skin but struggling to find it anywhere.. used the pure carbon anti blemish but nowhere near as good, please bring back!

Can't find this excellent moisturiser anywhere

The pure power anti-spot moisturiser was excellent but seems to have been phased out and replaced with the pure carbon version, which is heavy, sticky and has an overpowering smell. Bring back the old version l'oreal!

Quick and easy to order although limited to only 2 for some reason. It is expensive for what it is but it is not being sold elsewhere that I can find so the laws of supply and demand come into it. Value is the question, hence only 4 stars

My middle-aged face appreciates the L'Oreal Pure Power moisturizer more than any other product it has ever encountered. After several weeks of daily use, here the improvements I encountered. 1. Overall, my face is less red and blotchy. I now have a much more even and healthy tone over my whole face. 2. I had several areas around the jawbone and nose/chin that were plagued with a few persistent angry spots that would constantly return. This product has calmed and healed these areas like nothing else has ever achieved. 3. Far less oily 'shine' on my forehead. For guys that have patches of dry skin on their cheeks and a very oily 'T-Zone', I recommend this superior product. But remember, it is not a miracle cure. You have to use every morning as part of an overall facecare routine.

Poor formulation with comedogenic ingredients

This moisturiser is great at giving your skin a matte, shine free look, but unfortunately, it's full of pore-blocking ingredients to help it achieve that aim, which means it's incredibly unsuitable for people with spot or blemish-prone skin. The pore-blocking ingredients are: Myristic Acid, Lauric Acid and Glyceryl Stearate.

Overall OK, one main issue....

Overall this is an OK moisturiser, I can't say I have noticed much of a difference in the amount of spots. My biggest issue is that after you have applied it and it has dried, if you rub your skin to hard, the moisturiser flakes and rubs off the same way as dead skin does. Disappointing compared to your other moisturisers.

I was eager to try this moisturizer targeted specifically from men and see how different it was from the other general moisturizer that I was using. This moisturiser left my skin feeling super nourished and had a brightening effect. I will definitely be repurchasing.

i have had this for the last 3 weeks and really liked it, has a good fragrance and a nice feels on my skin, well moisturising and hasn't caused any breakouts, however it does have a tendency to clump in beard hair

I love this moisturiser. Since using it, I have noticed less breakouts and it keeps my oily skin looking matte. The smell is not overpowering either. I also love the travel friendly packaging which is great to take around wherever because of it’s size. I would recommend this!

I used this moisturiser following the routine of L’Oréal’s charcoal face wash and it helped to soothe and soften my skin. When applying at night it can often leave your face feeling a little sticky in the morning but once I rewash with face wash and apply this again it doesn’t have that effect throughout the day. It has a subtle fragrance and is a nice addition to my morning/evening routines. The bottle size is very generous and will surely last me for quite some time. I’m a big fan of the pump action dispenser as it prevents me from using too much.

Unfortunately my skin type is oily so I often have blackheads on my forehead. I always have to use the appropriate face wash and skincare in order to have healthy skin. My favourite day cream is L’Oreal Men Pure Power Anti-Spot. It contains salicylic acid to prevent my skin from excess oil and blackhead formation. It has outstanding antibacterial properties. I found L’Oreal Men Anti Spot easy to apply because it is a light gel cream. My skin feels quenched with moisture. The product does not leave traces or feels greasy on my skin. I use Pure Power every day to have healthy and awakened skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used many different L'Oreal moisturisers in my time, and this is right up there with the best of them. I have a mixture of dry and oily skin, and this left my skin feeling soft and smooth all over. I don't suffer much from acne so couldn't comment on that part of it.

It's easy to put on and dries on the skin fast so you don't look like you have oily skin, works very well and I will be purchasing the product.

After applying small amount of this cream I could feel literally fresh water all around my face. Nice subtle scent.Made my skin feeling fresh and soft. No grease,no heavy feeling in the skin.Love it .

My partner buys this moisturiser all the time and I ran out of my own so he said to use his instead as I suffer from oily skin and my fave creams tend to be rather heavy. After putting a small pea sized blob and spreading it around my face I was instantly Impressed. It makes my skin feel velvety smooth and no signs of oil! I like it that much that iv stopped buying my usual women's moisturiser and will continue to use this one instead! And I would recommend trying small amounts first as it spreads far :)

Rated 2 out of 5 by KBO19 from Not awful but by far my first choice I used this product a short while ago after realising the importance of moisturising as part of a good skincare routine, especially for spot-prone skin. I used it morning and night, and after both applications I found the product to be very slow to absorb and rather thick to apply. Whilst it certainly moisturised my skin, I found the product far too 'heavy' compared to others I have used, which made it particularly unpleasant at night, as I could still feel it on my skin as I went to sleep. Generally would avoid.

It doesn't seem to sink in completely and leaves a greasy film which rolls off when you rub it. He did like the packaging with pump dispenser, handy for travelling. Sadly the product itself didn't suit his skin.

It spreads across the face, doesn't feel greasy and absorbs really well into the skin. The pump bottle looks great and is constructed in a sturdy way we gives the impression of quality. If I was to have query, it is that I don't seem to notice any difference with the spots on my face when I use the moisturiser. I understand that it is not an over the counter product so is unlikely to have any strong chemicals in it, but I just don't notice any difference. It is fair to say that I have tried a couple of anti-spot moisturisers from other brands and I don't notice any difference with them either. All in all, I really like it and will be buying it again because it is a nice overall moisturiser which makes my face feel really good after application.

I suffer from dry skin around my eyes and have used other moisturising products but never with much success. I have always purchased products on offer as I've never known which product would be best. After using this moisturiser I won't need to look any further. After a week of use my skin is no where near as dry or flaky as it has been. I will purchase another bottle after I have used this bottle. As for the product it is like a serum that easily rubs in to the skin leaving your skin feeling clean and refreshed. The moisturiser is sold in a small pump bottle which is easy to carry around with me in my bag for use after the gym or sport. I highly recommend this product.

I never buy other similar L'Oreal Men Expert moisturising products. As I never really know which ones to buy. I I want is a simple "normal" everyday moisturiser to remove / prevent oil and control spots. As for all of their products, the bottle is a pump; which means I cannot break it. It is nicely sized for my gym bag. When using the product it does not foam all over your face and has a nice smell to it. If honest I would like the smell to be improved to a more modern masculine smell. It does leave slight tingling feel but once dry my skin feels smooth, clean and refreshed. It is a good product and I highly advise you to try it.

However when I tried the L'oreal moisturiser which I got for free from L'oreal paris I feel like a new man, it is very smooth and does not cause any itching or irritation. I have kept using it day and night and I can see the effects that it is having. I would recommend to anyone to try this product out and see for yourself what it can do.

With having sensitive skin that can be quite spot prone, I was intrigued to see if this product lived up to the billing. Having used this moisturiser daily for a few weeks , I can confirm that it doers indeed do exactly what it says. The moisturiser itself does not leave your face feeling clogged like other moisturisers. It is a very effective moisturiser and I definitely recommend it. I have not had 1 spot since I started using it. Top product

I was happy to get my L'OrÃ©al Men Expert Pure Power Moisturiser for free from L'OrÃ©al Paris. First thing I loved was the pump action bottle. 1 press seems to be enough to cover my whole face. It's easily applied and soaks in near instantly. I did notice on my first few tries where I did not rub it in correctly it dried and flaked off. Lesson learned. I've now been using everyday and got a compliment off the mrs about how hydrated my skin looks. I had very oily skin around my nose and dry forehead. Thanks L'OrÃ©al you've fixed it.

It certainly kept my skin moisturised for 24 hours, however due to the PVA glue-like texture every time I were to rub my face it would peel off, almost like dead skin. If you're looking for 24 protection I'd recommend this moisturiser, however if you're not wanting bits to peel off your face when touched, I'd suggest another product.

I love the feel of it, it is not thick and sticky like some moisturisers can be. It's smooth and silky to the touch and rubs in really nicely. It also smells good and fairly manly (in a good way). If you're looking for a product that works and is pleasant to use, then this moisturiser is definitely for you.

I slapped some on straight away so at first i didn't get the great benefits from the moisturiser due to not cleaning my face first! HOWEVER! This product is AMAZING! From the very slight tingle when applying the product, it offers great coverage in one squirt. Some moisturisers you have to apply quite a bit or perhaps don't really know how much you should use, but the squirty bottle allows you to quickly grab the correct amount and it's very fast to apply because your not needing to go back for more because it spreads very well around your face. When you first apply its quite a wet product but this soon dries leaving your face feeling very smooth and soft! There is a slight tingle when applying the product which i thought felt quite nice and you could really feel the salycilic acid working! I work in quite a warm greesy place so when coming home at night and cleaning my face it was great using a product that actually helped against having oily skin, I have still got a few small spots appearing but it has reduced alot, like i said due to the nature of work i do i tend to get quite a few spots and oily skin but this was greatly reduced!! Willdefinitely continue to use this product
