L’Oréal bring it back
Please bring it back L’Oréal! I’ve seen countless reviews and know many people who used this powder.
I think the bad reviews are mainly because of the change in packaging but the product is so good and has been for 10+ years.
The best coverage powder I’ve ever used and trust me I’ve used a lot!

Perfect coverage which can be built up for flawless wedding loooks to light application but marks completely covered. No idea why it was removed from uk stores such as boots, when it was announced it wAs going I went to 42 boots stores in uk to buy some- that’s how good it is

Please keep it!
I've used this for years and it works really well, great coverage, long lasting - but now it's being discontinued and I can't get Golden Natural anymore.... Very upset Loreal, now I need to find another brand of mineral foundation. No use saying there are other things in your range, those of us that use mineral powder do so because it's the only thing we can use!!!

Please don’t discontinue this.
This is my favourite foundation ever. Doesn’t break me out, looks natural. I’ve been advised this is going to be discontinued and this is very sad. Please at least replace it with something similar.

Best foundation ever!!
I have been using this foundation for around 10 years and swear by it. It gives me a flawless airbrushed look by giving a full coverage and hiding any redness and spots. I have received so many compliments on my skin when wearing it. If this ever got discontinued I would be heartbroken! I recommend 100%, the only foundation I’ve tried that doesn’t bring me out in spots. I apply a moisturising cream and a small amount of coconut oil before, to allow the power to stick and last all day!

Far better than the old version
Im surprised by the negative reviews if this product but understand what it's like when you get used to a product and it is changed or discontinued. Personally, I had tried the old version of this and hated it. It had too much sparkle, smelled weird, contained all manir if nasty things and even the palest shade was way orange.
The new version is genius. Inclusive colour range - rose ivory is the perfect shade for me. They have removed a lot of the harmful ingredients from the formula. The current formula has done wonders for my skin, no break outs and my redness has subsided. I have niticed my skin looks better when I'm not wearing make up.
The coverage is subtle but effective, evening out any redness. It isn't Matt but neither is it sparkly or even 'dewy'. It just looks like normal, even skin. I use concealer for any blemishes or undereye shadows, but less and less these days such is the improvement in my skin.
The packaging is genius. There is a stretchy mesh over the powder meaning you can properly dip your brush in without overloading and ensuring the powder doesn't go everywhere, usually the two major pitfalls of using mineral makeup. For those complaining the apperture isn't big enough - I recommend using a smaller brush.
Never stop making this. It's perfect.

Good foundation
This foundation is great. It really gives good coverage and is easy to use. The only reason it looses a star is becuase the colour can be slightly off. I bought it in store so I could see it but online the colour swatch looks completely different so I would recommend going in store

Awful compared to the old product!
I’ve been using L’Oréal true match minerals for years and years and although the lightest shade was always too dark for me I swore by the product! I was excited to see that the packaging and formula had changed. I visited many Boots stores so I could work out what shade to purchase and to this day I haven’t been able to find these in store! So I had to risk it and order online. No matter how hard I tried I could not get the powder through the mesh so I had to cut it open! I have to pour the powder out onto my table to use it and it doesn’t come with a brush like the old one did! The shade is too light for me and the product itself is awful! It’s chalky and really cakes up especially on dry areas. After 1 hour of wearing it its a mess! It completely comes away from my nose and it serepaetes all over my face and looks cakey and appalling. I beg you L’Oréal, please bring back the old formula that everyone loved!!

Been wearing it for years
Love this minral foundation, it’s easy to apply and has spf 15 which is great. The foundation can be built up to give more coverage when needed which is great. I have been purchasing this for many years 5+ and will continue. The only negative is that the packaging has changed and now there is no built in brush (was convinient)

Prefer the previous version
I am disappointed with this new version of this product, they no longer provide an integral application brush which was really handy for travelling, the lightest shade which I have used for years is now too light for me and I look like a corpse plus the quality of the powder seems to have deteriorated and the flawless finish to my skin which the old version gave me is no longer achievable. I think I will be looking for an alternative product.

Love this. Used it for years
I have used this product for about 10 years and when they changed the packaging, I read all the negative reviews and they put me off. I tried a similar product from another brand and hated it. Bought this one again and I actually prefer the new style container! Yes, it no longer comes with a brush but I used a seperate, better quality one and found it much easier and less messy than the old one used to be. You press the brush down and twist it in the mesh and it comes out with the perfect amount of powder on. The actual powder is the same as it always was so I'm happy and will continue to use what has always been a fab foundation.

Bought the pre make-over version but never really used it as couldn’t get any flippin’ powder out! I actually like the powder I can tease out of this one but boy does it make you work for. User friendly packaging isn’t rocket science. Design a decent container & I’ll buy again!

Absolutely rubbish after the makeover
It used to be the most amazing product, a must have, stayed on all day and was just perfect and after they changed the packaging it’s awful. It stays on for a couple of hours and then looks horrible. Won’t be buying again unless they go back to old version.

Devestation doesn't come close to how I feel.
For years, I have struggled with extremely oily and blemished skin. I have tried almost every single liquid foundation on the market, until finding out that they just made my skin ten times spottier. After trial and error with mineral foundations (as they really are few and far between), I had finally found a mineral foundation that gave me amazing coverage and made my skin look dewy and beautiful.
I really felt beautiful.
Now...disaster has struck. My holy grail foundation is no more.
Initially, I was excited about the new range of shades. However, after trying it a couple of times I realised...the new L'Oreal True Match Minerals is a complete disaster. There is more focus on the look of the packaging than the practicality of it. A silly mesh really affect the product from coming out. I had to cut it off.
The powder itself?
A completely different and diabolical powder that offers next to no coverage and has an unpleasant "film-like" feel to it. I had to pile the stuff on to get anywhere near the coverage I used to get. This application did not last at all.
L'Oreal, I implore you. Please, please listen to your customers. Please bring back the old and amazing product. I am currently looking for another mineral foundation until you do.

Recent change - no longer as good.
I've used this product for years. My skin is fairly oily so a mineral foundation suits me, and this one had great coverage. The recent change to the packaging was welcome in that the powder no longer fell out onto my clothes/bag/sink (still too much plastic though). However, the colours have changed and the coverage is no longer good. I have to use a concealer now as well as this. Am currently looking for an alternative product.

Gives good coverage that you can build up but it is not full coverage, for me the colour was slightly too dark but may work when I've been away and I've caught a Tan. There was no overpowering scents, cute packaging and light for traveling (not bulky).

What have you done?
I have used this product for around 8 years and have always been really happy with it. I am so disappointed with the new packaging which makes it practically impossible to use. It is no longer supplied with a brush so you have to use your own and it is really difficult to actually get any product out. I won’t be buying this product again and will be looking for an alternative brand.

Perfect finishing
I was really surprised to see mixed reviews for this product as it was absolutely perfect.. I've always been devoted to Mac foundation powder for almost a decade and thought I should try this once and I was surprised how good it looked on my skin as well it made my skin look really healthy too.. I genuinely wanted to leave a review for this product since I loved it and I am going to continue using this for years for sure..

Where is golden ivory w1 ?
The old version of this makeup with the brush that came with the pot was so good. Used for years and always had compliments. When they changed the packaging and upped the spf in it it was alright, not as good, but I could deal with it. But now it looks like they’ve got rid of golden ivory w1 shade all together and I don’t understand why. Any other brand of mineral power I use doesn’t match up to what my old shade used to look like. Please bring it back. Looking at the the reviews on various websites it looks like I’m not the only one. Giving 3 stars because I like the product but it just seems to be getting worse.

Dreadful Redesign
I've been using this for around eight years, usually over liquid foundation, and never had any problems with it, but the recent design change is a joke. It's still retailing at the same price yet no longer has a brush included. They've added a strange net cover which means you can't get enough product on the brush and have to resort to cutting the cover out, and even when you do manage to get enough on your face, the coverage is not as good as before. To add insult to injury, they seem to have discontinued the golden ivory colour which suited me best - I haven't tried another colour as I'm loath to spend my money on this ridiculous redesign. I'm really disappointed as there don't seem to be many other suitable brand alternatives in the same sort of price range, but I will have to keep looking...

L’Oréal disaster
As L’Oréal did before with true match fundation, they changed package and product making it so bad compared to how used to be. Package of this one is just awful!! Need small brush to take product but it’s just so difficult, to make it easier and quicker I had to cut out weird material with little holes that holds product in package! that’s nothing compared to quality! It doesn’t give you nice shiny finish anything like old one at all! Also old one used to last forever but this one goes off after few hours. I’m so disappointed, I’ve spent my money for nothing worth any penny.

Great foundation
Love the actual product if you can get to it! Very difficult to use, very messy and wasteful design. Time consuming too. The old container came with a brush, this one doesn't, packaging too big and pricey.

Really disappointing
I am really disappointed with this new design, for the same price there is no brush. Finding it a nightmare to get out, I’ve been using the brush from my old one to attempt to get it evenly on my face.l and it’s not going very well!
I’m sure the ingredients may have changed to as i my face has become a lot more oily.
I tweeted L’Oréal and sent them an Instagram message to share my thoughts but no response. Complete waste of money as need to now buy something else

Awful product
Ive used LOreal mineral makeup for so many years and it was perfect for me! The updated version is awful! Its a new foumula which isnt as good, the shades arent the same and the packaging is awful, i even had to cut the net to get enough product out. Now i cant wear this foundation as it doesnt match my skin and the formula doesnt suit my skin type! So gutted after using this product for many years im now having to find a different brand foundation.

New design and powder is terrible
I have bought this foundation for years and the new design and coverage of the foundation is so terrible. DO NOT BUY. I had to cut open the mesh to get the powder out, you can't put the loose powder into the lid anymore and it takes more than double the amount of powder to get good enough coverage. So for the same price as the old one, it lasts half the amount of time. I WILL NOT BUY THIS AGAIN. I will now have to look for another brand. Such a shame as this has been my go to mineral powder for so many years.

Used this for years and loved it. But the new packaging is awful. So difficult to get anything out, you have no choice but to cut it open. I too am emptying it into my old container that came WITH a brush! Now trying other brands out. I won't be buying this again. So disappointed!

Rubbish design! Bring back the old one!
I have been buying this product for years and am dissappointed to say that the new design is useless and unpractical. For the same price as the old model you do not get a brush to apply the foundation and the mesh is hard to get any foundation out from. I am extremely disappointed. For the same price without a brush I am not sure what I am paying for. Bring back the old model!

After using this powder for years, I have to say I am extremely disappointed with the latest packaging / design. I find it very difficult to get enough powder through the mesh so coverage is not as good and a brush is no longer included! Surely even with the new design pot the same dispenser / brush could have been accommodated?

Awful new design!
I have been buying your amazing 'true match minerals' in golden ivory (W1) for years and years, for 8 years or so now! But since you have changed the product design and I am very disappointed. I was shocked to find that the price had stayed exactly the same, yet there is now NO brush inside, which I find extremely disappointing as I am now getting a lot less for my money. I am now having to break a hole into the new design and tip the product back into my older pot, just so that I can use the brush! The foundation is so hard to access now. Also, I now can't get the colour I have always used, golden ivory W1, which is very frustrating. I will have to find a new brand to go with. Love the product as it was perfect for my skin, but the new packaging is so frustrating and disappointing. BRING BACK THE BRUSH!

Rubbish product
I have been using the true match minerals for years and it’s been a really excellent product for the price, this one however since it’s been changed is rubbish after an hour or so it’s non existent on your face and does not cover half of my problem areas like before. I’m really disappointed in this ‘new’ version and will continue to look for something better!

Very disappointed!
I have used this mineral foundation for 3/4 years now and have continued to do so as I loved the product! I have just purchased my latest pot in the new design and I really dislike it! Made it so difficult to use.....I’ve tried several ways of getting the powder out and onto my brush but to no great success therefore I’ve had to cut holes in the mesh! Will not be buying again if there is no improvement with packaging!

Brought true match for years, never would have brought another brand, but I cannot stand it with the new design. no brush, hard and fidgety. no proper testers so had to buy three different shades! they didn't even transfer the colours over for the dedicated customers they already had well with me (did have) will be changing brand, such a shame as they were on top for their powder. yes the outside looks better, but it's not about the look, its the product that matters. week ago i would have recommended to everyone, but now i would tell people to avoid using this.

Tried this as my usual choice was out of stock. Not as good as the original Tru Match mineral foundation with brush. It's hard to access the foundation, I had to cut the covering, and it's a small access point for the brush. That said, coverage and colour was good, but a lot of hassle to apply. Bring back the brush version!

Very bad design, also dissappointing colour
I bought 3 shades as no testers available in store. None match my skin tone so had to mix up two shades. Design is poor, makes it impossible to get powder on brush... Will not be purchasing this again. Feel let down by my purchase. Hope L'Oreal get the idea, nobody likes this new design or shades.

Bad design and not good coverage
I loved the old version of his foundation and have used it for years. This new one has a bad design for the foundation to come out as most brushes are too soft to get any foundation on and when you do get some you've made a mess and don't have a lot on the brush. I've found I have to use a lot more with this powder foundation and the pot doesn't last very long. Takes longer to apply with having to fight with the pot to get any out. I will definitely be trying the no7 mineral foundation instead. Very disappointed!

The colour and texture is great but it is nearly impossible to get the powder out of the container. Most makeup brushes are thick and soft. For this product you need a really small brush to fit inside the jar. You can't even tip out the power onto another surface. The design of the pot is a real let-down.

I was looking for a change from my usual liquid foundation and thought this might be a nice change. The colour and texture was lovely but I was unable to achieve the full coverage that I am used to even though I applied more. This might be nice in the summer as a lighter alternative. Lots in the pot so should last a long time, good value for money.

This foundation is outstanding. It isn't powdery or cakey, it gives my skin a gleam. I'm 47 and the foundation doesn't sit in or exaggerate pores and fine lines. My skin looks like me, but just better.

The powder is very soft easy to blend on the skin.it does not feel heavy on the skin could definitely wear it everyday.its not a full coverage foundation but you could apply few layers to get more coverage but it can get a bit cakey.i prefer to stick to 2 layers im happy the way my skin look.

The mineral foundation comes in a tub. Inside it has a mesh over the powder. It doesn't have a scent to it. It feels very finely milled and light on my skin. When applying on my skin it seems to cover over my skin without it looking like I got foundation on. It is very good for wearing in a hot environment. I really like how it sits on my skin. The only thing I found was when applying the powder on it can be abit messy. Be careful of falling on your clothes.

really enjoyed the texture of this. I'm a total liquid foundation addict and am usually dubious with mineral makeup as I hate the dry feeling you get. This product is incredibly light weight and build able in pigment. I feel I would prefer to use this on 'no makeup days' or even as a mineral powder over liquid foundation. Shade wise, the 6w was a little too pink for my Nc35/nars Stromboli shade skin- I often think L'Oréal needs a few more shades with yellow undertones.
