There is some instant effect in alleviating dark circles. What I liked most was there was no need to remove the product after applying, its blends into the skin well.
Unfortunately the pen leaked a month into its use, for the amount I paid for this I was not impressed obv.

I used the old version for years, but this latest one is terrible, I now need to find an alternative. It's almost impossible to squeeze the product out, it feels like the delicate skin around the eye area is being torn in the process as the dry ball drags. It used to give a cool energising feeling, it no longer does that. And it's orange, so in the unlikely event you extract too much, it leaves an orange residue.

While the product inside the tube works just fine, actually getting the product out of the tube is quite another matter. I’m struggling to understand why L’Oréal aren’t listening to the feedback. But then again, when you’re a multibillion dollar company, I guess you don’t have to!

Refreshing

I used it before some time ago and just bought it on the new packaging / formula with a smaller roller I noticed. I had read about the negative comments on the orange pigment that will left under-eyes but I decided to give it a try. Before I use it I gave it a good shake then roll it under my under eyes for few seconds. I can feel the cooling sensation and there is NO orange pigment left under my eyes. I feel refreshing and my eye bags / dark circles saw improvements too.

Bring back the old one

This upgrade is rubbish and obviously done to save money on the applicator. The old one was far better!!! The new liquid leaves an orange tingue around your eyes ..... the failing liver look! It also drags rather than the cooling roll of its predecessor. I used the product for years but no more! The new one went in the bin!

Rubbish compared to the proper roll on version. Won’t buy again as it doesn’t come out unless you press on which given where you put it can be uncomfortable. Bring back the old one!

Have been using this product for 2 weeks and I have great difficulty trying to roll the serum across the eye bags. The roller drags the skin because the serum doesn't easily roll out.

This is scam product.
Another sign of the big corporate companies misleading the consumer.
This product is thoroughly useless.
Its no more than a tiny amount of liquid with an orange pigment in it, that is in a small tube, with a fake ball bearing in it, to make it feel cool.
L'Oreal. You should be ashamed.
The Lumin equivalent is a far superior product.
You need to up your game L'Oréal.
Its a poor product for the price and size.

New formula worse!

I have bought this excellent product for a few years - however like another review I see I find the 'new formula' dreadful compared to the old. The smaller ball and gooier liquid make it difficult to use and not nearly as refreshing. Sadly am looking for another product.

The old version of this i found to be fantastic. Felt good on the eyes with the larger ball and easy application. Noticeable difference.
The new version i am not convinced by. It's difficult to get out the tube. It comes out orange, the ball is smaller and doesn't feel as good on the eyes. I actually feel like my eyes have started looking more tired since using it. I'll ise up what i have then look elsewhere for a different brand unless i can still get hold of the old style. So disappointed as i use all Loreal men expert products.

Agree totally with these recent reviews that this leaves orange staining under your eyes. Purchased 3 while on offer 3 FOR 2 price. Persevered with the first one but people kept saying about the orange staining so i cut the first one open to look inside and horrible orangey gunge gel so have binned the other 2 now, false economy. Have now purchased alternative brand with no probs.

Bring the old product back

I used to love the old version, and it gave great results after just one use. This new product I don't get any effect from at all.... except for perhaps some weird orange tint, when I apply the gel. Please bring the "old" product back!

I bought this as I starting to get dark circles under my eyes. On trying to use found that the orange gunge barely came out of the roller.; the tube needed to be pushed hard. 30 minutes later I developed bags under the eyes and larger circles. Not good, waste of time.

I have been using this for a couple of weeks and would not buy it again. It isn't a patch on the old one. The old one went on smoothly and I could see an immediate effect. This rollerball is half the size and pulls the skin.

The old product was so good, I used it for years but the new product is such a let down, the applicator doesn't work (constantly stuck) and the new formula turns skin a bright sticky orange, rather than the nice soothing/cooling effect it used to have. So disappointed, will no longer use. L'oreal have obviously never heard the phrase "if it's not broke, don't fix it".

New packaging and formula(?)

Not only is the new packaging really bad to use (the roller is constantly stuck) and doesn't seem to cool the same, but I'm really curious if something else has changed.
I loved the old version (which is depicted), but I get really bad allergic reactions when using the new one. I've tried two different ones, so there must be something new in the formula, beacuse I have an old one left, and I don't react to that one.

Bad reaction not happy

I bought this for my Son but unfortunately he is has had a bad reaction under both his eyes. Not sure why it had an orange pigmentation but he now has patches of very dry skin that resemble burns under both of his eyes. Very unhappy customer

You have ruined an excellent product , The new packaging is rubbish the roller is too small and doesn't cool like the old one , It drags on the eyes and the gel is thicker and hard to dispense . Whoever redisigned this needs sacking!

Used the original for years but since it’s been updated it’s terrible. Cheap tacky squeegee dispenser that doesn’t work and it leaves your skin stained orange. Why why why did you changevwhat was a great product?

Sorry to say 2 tubes sit on the side unusable and a waste of money just bring back the old roll on tube with a cooling watery effect as this orange residue is embarrassing for mankind

Packaging change is abysmal

The previous packaging and applicator were spot on. Product worked well. Now the whole thing is garbage. Applicator barely works, product can stain skin. After a decade of use I will no longer purchase L'Oreal for men and DO NOT recommend its use.

Stained my skin orange

The original version of this product (shown in the website image) was great, however they have now changed it and it is terrible. The applicator is useless and it has left me with orange stains under my eyes! I have bought this for years but will now have to look for another product.
