Do not colour your hair if:
• you have a rash on your face or sensitive, irritated and damaged scalp
• you have ever experienced any reaction after colouring your hair
• you have experienced a reaction to a temporary “black henna” tattoo in the past
IGNORING AN ALLERGY CAN BE LIFE-THREATENING.
You must conduct an ALLERGY ALERT TEST 48 hours before each time you colour even if you have already used colouring products before.
So remember to buy the product 48 hours in advance. (Read and follow the instruction leaflet).
In case of any reaction or when in doubt consult a doctor before using any hair colour product.
“Developer” contains hydrogen peroxide
“Hair colourant”contains: phenylenediamines, phenylenediamines (toluenediamines), resorcinol, ammonia

• Rinse the eyes immediately and thoroughly if the product comes into contact with them.

Better than just for men

I liked this product when it first came out. Easy and quick to use and last longer than just for men. Would 100% recommend even at the inconvenience of having to order online. All in all great product.

I found this product to be excellent for covering grey hair giving a natural look with a light brown colour finish and easy to use if done properly can last up to six weeks

AVOID if blond! This left my blond hair brown/black. I had to shampoo it like mad and towel dry about 10 times to try to reduce the embarrassing colour. Lucky I wasn’t going to work the next day! Do it on a Friday night if you must but better still try a competitor product.

I bought this product a few months ago, and before using it I did the allergy test which was fine on my skin, no reaction from the product.
I read all the instructions carefully before using, and I was happy with the results.
So I decided to buy it again, I did the allergy test on my skin, and again no allergic reaction.
I then started to dye my hair, it left my scalp very sore and was red coloured like I'd been burnt, it also left a red rash on my hairline especially on my neck and forehead which was sore and wheepping for several days after use.
I will never use this product again, L'Oréal Men Expert One Twist Hair Colour.

If you had Black Hair and Now it's Grey - Use This

My husband used to have Black hair but as he got older his hair has gone very Grey. He's tried Control GX but it fades fast, so tried this. We heard that when dying Grey hair you need to go lighter. So he tried this product and it's turned out fantastic !! It was so easy to apply - just use the applicator to comb it on the hair and rub in, leave for a few minutes and wash out. Gloves are provided so no mess. His hair looks so natural and it complements his olive skin tone. He literally looks years younger! I would highly recommend it for anyone who used to have Black hair and wants to banish the Grey and look naturally younger. Try it - you'll be impressed - we were.

If you like looking like action man then buy this

Well let’s start with it does NOT look natural. Awful product, leaves a really dark thick block colour, nothing like a natural look at all.
Remember the old action man with flocked dark hair? That’s me until it washes out.
Water bill will go up as I’ll be washing my hair 15 times a day to get this back to something resembling normal

I bought blonde since the Just for Men colours had been coming out darker.
This was so poorly designed. The bottle is impossible to squeeze the product out, and the comb attachment just scrapes and irritates the scalp.
Worst thing is that my hair is now black....not blonde. Black.

Poorly designed applicator. I bought two. The first one was impossible to open and had to throw it away. The second one was so hard to squeeze that I could hardly use any product. Returned to my American Crew Precision Blend that works perfect.

My last review didn't get published. I just wanted to say that there is no similar product for women now. The last one was discontinued. I tried this product and it worked perfectly though the dark blonde 06 came out brown. It has lasted 6 weeks easily with no root growth showing and will try the lighter shade this time as I have light brown hair..

There is nothing subtle about this dye, my head looked like it had been dipped in dark paint. I went for a slightly lighter shade, only had it on a couple of minutes (just in case) and I looked utterly ridiculous. All my friends noticed and chuckled. I had to go to the hairdressers to get it cut out but was still stuck with this nasty, cheap and unatualy look for two months.

I don’t have many grey hairs but I used this product to hide my few grey hairs around the temple area and after applying it for two times, the hairs have still not picked up the dye. As per instructions, leave the dye for 5 minutes but it didn’t work for me the first time so I left it on my hair for 20 minutes instead but unfortunately the colour was already faded in a second wash. Waste of money don’t buy it.

Used the lightest colour so my hair didn’t look dark. But it was like black(light brown I bought) application was terrible left black residue on my scalp which blocked up the pours and lost a lot of hair after this.

This contains Henna and if it goes wrong there is nothing you can do to save your hair. The natural black was not natural at all. Left me with a deep unnatural black head. Tried stripping it off and it’s turned a copper colour. Honestly awful. Don’t bother.

The concept sounds good on paper but fails when you use it. Loreal have tried to make it easier for men to colour their hair but instead they have created a product that's clumsy and is just a gimmick.

Great expectations

I bought the product around a month ago, but despite carefully following the instructions, I was unable to extract any colorant through the comb. Just wouldn't work and liquid doesn't come out despite twisting the comb. I tried shaking before hand and this left drops of colorant all over the place. Disapointed!

Had to use force, scissors and a plastic bag to extract the mixture, by which time the comb was shredded. Believe me, I’m a mechanically minded person. This didn’t work

Fairly easy to follow the instructions, getting the dye out of the bottle not so easy unless using both hands.
Colour looked good but after 2 washes nearly all dye has come out.

saw new men expert on tv early this week went to boots got colour i wanted ,wife applied it for me after 6 mins rinsed it off cant believe result 10/10 looks amazing all done in just a few mins will use all time now fantastic!!

I saw the product on the shelf the first time and gave it a try. I applied it only at my sides. As described, after 5 minutes washed it down, and the result was fab! The only downside is after one-time use; I applied after three weeks again, unfortunately, didn’t cover at all even tried numerous times waited more than 5 minutes no chance. In summary great product but for one time use!

Covered some gray

I got this product free in exchange for my honest review. I liked that it was a easy twist application. I have alot of gray hair on both sides of my temples. I'm going to be 40 years old and am starting to see gray hair. I tried the dark brown shade as that would give me the best coverage.
The application was OK but I had a hard time getting the product out onto to my hair. I did follow instructions and the result was it did cover some of my gray hair. Not all. Maybe leave longer than the five minutes it recommended.
The smell was a bit too chemically for me. Wish it was odorless. That could be impossible I know
After a few washes the colour is holding up with slight fading.

I'm 50 now, have a lot of grey hair and have used all the different dye products on the market. I like L'oreal products so when I saw this new and super convenient looking hair dye kit, I immediately grabbed one.
Twisted the cap, shook the ingredients, snapped the plastic off the brush and began, what the instructions failed to mention however, was that you need to go to the gym for six months before you can dispense the dye.
I ended up throwing the bottle away while it sounded still half full because I couldn't hold it over my head, and squeeze hard enough to make much come out.
Leave in your hair five minutes before rinsing out it says, well it took me five minutes of grunting and straining just to get a basic coverage, and that's before the massaging in part.
I'm really shocked at how this went down given that lots of trials must have been performed before this product went to market.

It's Better Than I Expected

This hair dye is brilliant. I have tried other hair dyes for men before but L'Oreal Paris Men Expert One Twist Hair Colour is my favourite. It is definitely designed for men. It is so easy, mess-free and quick to apply. I do not have to mix the dye component together and I do not need any extra tools. The brush is built into the bottle. Just five minutes and my hair looks like 20 years ago. No greys, just natural, healthy and shiny colour.

Hair does look nice and fresher colour but unfortunately my grey hair has not been covered and I don’t even have many of those .
