Usage

Makeup Designer Application

1. To cover dark circles:
Draw a triangle with the base under your eye and the tip towards your cheek; blend the concealer to instantly cover dark circles and brighten cheek area.

2. To highlight and contour:
Use two concealer shades: one two shades darker the skin tone and one two shades lighter. To contour apply the dark shade under cheekbones, to forehead and chin to create definition. To highlight apply to the areas of the face that naturally catch the light.

3. To finish brows:
Apply a concealer that is one shade lighter than the skin tone above and below eyebrows and blend.

An absolute favourite

I love this concealer which has now very sadly been discontinued. My local Boots store confirmed it is no longer available in stores but that I might be able to source through Boots online which I did and so purchased several of them. It’s another absolutely go to make up essential which I have used for many years. I love the consistency, neither too thick or too thin, just right and I find it brilliant for the under eye area. Why oh why have L’Oreal ceased this wonderful concealer in favour of a different concealer which is not as good as this one.

Used this for years, took a break, and now it is nowhere near as good. Doesn’t cover very well, slides off, really irritates my eyes and dries them out as well. I much prefer the infallible concealer. You need less product for better coverage.

I’ve been buying this for years and it’s great! - fairly light coverage but that’s good for me and one of the few pale concealers that doesn’t look orange on me as a very pale person! HOWEVER, the last 2-3 tubes I’ve bought, the lid has flaked silver bits all over my makeup bag and hands and the product leaks out all over all my other products. I thought it was a manufacturing error so bought a couple more when I first noticed it but they seem to have just switched to cheaper packaging which has ruined the product frankly. Now I need to find a new concealer :(

It does the above , so I can’t complain. Only thing negative or making me give a 4 star is the packaging. The concealer cap is silver and after a while it starts to shred , and you end up with silver bits in your makeup bag or on your face , which is annoying. I have to wrap sellotape around the silver bits , so it doesn’t shred everywhere. Been a L’Oréal brand , I expected a bit more , when it comes to packaging. Rather then making it silver , maybe be keep it clear , so don’t have to stress about the bits falling everywhere.

Its not full coverage but lasts very well, I don't find I have to top it up through the day and its very flattering underneath the eyes. I don't like the true match foundation so was suprised how good this is, hope it's never discontinued or re-formulated. 1n is good for my pale skin, it leans a bit yellow toned so I can still use it even if I use a little gradual tanner. Really recommend

Some concealers add glitter to claim they make your skin 'glow'. The last thing I want on a spot or on areas I want to make less obvious, is a load of glitter!

I love how their shades cater to warmer yellow undertones in the skin, I'm mixed white/asian and usually struggle to find skin makeup in my colour as they're all so pink! I also think the formula is really hydrating and doesn't stick to my dry patches as much as other concealers and foundations do. It doesn't separate or oxidise on the skin and blends really easily. The only complaints that I have is I wish it was a bit higher coverage, although it is somewhat buildable. For reference I have oily/combination skin.
