Usage

Makeup Designer Application

1. To cover dark circles:
Draw a triangle with the base under your eye and the tip towards your cheek; blend the concealer to instantly cover dark circles and brighten cheek area.

2. To highlight and contour:
Use two concealer shades: one two shades darker the skin tone and one two shades lighter. To contour apply the dark shade under cheekbones, to forehead and chin to create definition. To highlight apply to the areas of the face that naturally catch the light.

3. To finish brows:
Apply a concealer that is one shade lighter than the skin tone above and below eyebrows and blend.

I love this concealer which has now very sadly been discontinued. My local Boots store confirmed it is no longer available in stores but that I might be able to source through Boots online which I did and so purchased several of them. It’s another absolutely go to make up essential which I have used for many years. I love the consistency, neither too thick or too thin, just right and I find it brilliant for the under eye area. Why oh why have L’Oreal ceased this wonderful concealer in favour of a different concealer which is not as good as this one.

Stinks and stings

Wish I had read reviews of this before I bought it. It smells really strongly of alcohol and the smell is irritating my eyes, even after dry down, making it completely useless to me.

I’ve been buying this for years and it’s great! - fairly light coverage but that’s good for me and one of the few pale concealers that doesn’t look orange on me as a very pale person! HOWEVER, the last 2-3 tubes I’ve bought, the lid has flaked silver bits all over my makeup bag and hands and the product leaks out all over all my other products. I thought it was a manufacturing error so bought a couple more when I first noticed it but they seem to have just switched to cheaper packaging which has ruined the product frankly. Now I need to find a new concealer :(

Been using the concealer for over a year. Does what it says , I can’t fault it. Covers well. Last longer Doesn’t dry up. It does the above , so I can’t complain. Only thing negative or making me give a 4 star is the packaging. The concealer cap is silver and after a while it starts to shred , and you end up with silver bits in your makeup bag or on your face , which is annoying. I have to wrap sellotape around the silver bits , so it doesn’t shred everywhere. Been a L’Oréal brand , I expected a bit more , when it comes to packaging. Rather then making it silver , maybe be keep it clear , so don’t have to stress about the bits falling everywhere.

Love this concealer but little bits of the silver from the applicator cap always breaks off onto my fingers as I’m applying and then ends up on my face and is really hard to get off. Would love if this was improved

I've used this on and off for a few years, it has better coverage than my mac concealer which I was very disappointed with. Its not full coverage but lasts very well, I don't find I have to top it up through the day and its very flattering underneath the eyes. I don't like the true match foundation so was suprised how good this is, hope it's never discontinued or re-formulated. 1n is good for my pale skin, it leans a bit yellow toned so I can still use it even if I use a little gradual tanner. Really recommend

The concealer works well, good colour match, good coverage, blends well. But it has my absolute least favourite thing - hidden glitter. Some concealers add glitter to claim they make your skin 'glow'. The last thing I want on a spot or on areas I want to make less obvious, is a load of glitter!

This has been my go to concealer for almost a year now... I love how their shades cater to warmer yellow undertones in the skin, I'm mixed white/asian and usually struggle to find skin makeup in my colour as they're all so pink! I also think the formula is really hydrating and doesn't stick to my dry patches as much as other concealers and foundations do. It doesn't separate or oxidise on the skin and blends really easily. The only complaints that I have is I wish it was a bit higher coverage, although it is somewhat buildable. For reference I have oily/combination skin.

The concealer is very light but has a surprisingly good coverage that makes your under eyes look a lot brighter without it being obvious you have make up on which I really love. Only downside is that it does crease if you don’t set due to its thinner consistency. Overall I definitely recommend!!

I think the product overall is great, nice and creamy and the colour range for this concealer is great. Although I do find this concealer a little bit hard to blend and it creases quite quickly! Works well with minimal makeup!

It has light to medium coverage which is great for some people. Only thing I found is it didn't last very well by the evening so would probably need to reapply.

I'd say it's medium coverage, but needs to be used sparingly so that it still blends in with the foundation. I think there are better options at the same price-point.

As a pale skinned person I found the concealer had trouble with my under eye area and just needs too much application which gets crusty during the day due to my dry skin. I love the colour but would pay more if it worked better...

They do actually have quite a good shade range but when i got home i tried it out and my eyes were stinking so much. And when i blended it out there was so little coverage. Really disappointing.

My go to concealer best one (in full coverage) that I’ve tried however, it needs to have a primer base or powder to last the full day, without any other products it usually lasts about 6 hours does go a little blotchy nearer the end of the hours but not to noticeable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KellyMcQu from Perfect for hot days! I've found using this by itself on hot days as it's got good coverage and lasts the whole day. Works great on my oily, mixed tone skin and actually leaves it feeling really nice. Not heavy at all and gives a natural look. Highly recommend!

It has really good coverage, yet it is so lightweight it feels as if you are wearing no concealer! I would say that this is also a close dupe to 'Too Faced Born this Way' concealer (&foundation) and is still almost the exact same, if a little cheaper!

Rated 1 out of 5 by SilverAgatka from TOXIC FUMES I bought this concealer as I needed a darker shade to go with my fake tan, and N3 was a perfect match. Light coverage, but exactly the shade I wanted. I regret trying it only on my hand in the shop, and not placing the wand near my nose or eyes. If I knew this product produced such toxic fumes, I would NEVER have bought it. It doesn't appear to be fragranced, but it definitely contains some kind of paint-thinner like solvent, as it smells exactly like the paint I used to paint doors and skirtings in my house, just not as intense. So, after trying this concealer in the shop I bought it and went home to do my makeup as I had evening plans. The second I started to apply my new concealer, my skin started tingling, and my eyes burning and watering. Makeup ruined, I had to wash my face. Eyes pink, irritated and too uncomfortable to keep open. I had to cancel my plans and spend the rest of the evening trying to get my eyes back to normal. I would not recommend this product to an enemy, let alone a friend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by tooshie from Burns your eyes! I bought this concealer in the lightest shade to use as a brightening under eye concealer. I do like the True Match foundation which is why I bought the concealer. I really don't like this, it burns my eyes and makes them water when I apply under my eyes (I dont even put it anywhere close to the lash line) and I don't find the coverage very good. It's also a bit too light for my light/medium yellow undertone skin. Don't waste your money on this!
