The Revitalift Day Cream with SPF30

I really value this product, I feel my skin feels brighter and toned. I also found it great in the sun on holiday as my face did not burn once and I generally have problems using sun creams as they irritate my skin. I already use L'Oreal day cream SPF15, so finding this one with SPF30 has been a fantastic bonus for me and I intend to use it throughout the summer months.

I have been using Revitalift day cream for about 8 years with out a problem. I used this cream for two days and my face has come out in a rash that looks like a burn. My eye lids are bright red and so sore even though I did not apply the cream on them. My face feels swollen and rough to touch.

Bought it to cut the number or products i use in the morning and it works really bad comparing to the version without spf. My skin become more acne prone, melasma become more visible and the skin is shiny and greasy. Really bad product.

Bad absorption. Formula change?

Has something changed about this cream. I have been using this for years and found it to be prefect. I have just bought a replacement and something has changed. It no longer absorbs into my skin. I think is is the addition of pro-retinol etc. Please bring back the original which only had the SPF in it. I will have to change my brand as this doesn't suit me any more.

Stingy and greasy

Unfortunately this cream just doesn't seem to work for me. It leaves a glossy sort of finish, and seems too thick for day use. My face looks really shiny, as though I've slugged it, and powdering on top doesn't help. It also stings, especially around my forehead and cheeks, even an hour or so after I've applied it, and I wouldn't say I have sensitive skin.

I'm in mid-50s & been using this for about 4 years. I have tried a few premium, very expensive SPF moisturisers in that time but this seems to make my skin feel better than products 8x the price. I have sensitive skin but get no irritation, even around the eyes. Most moisturisers don't cut it for me - light ones leave me feeling dry, while heavy ones make me break out in chin spots, but this one is just right. One unexpected bonus is that it seems to exfoliate gently too. If I rub my skin with a cloth an hour or so after applying, it's like the top layer of dead skin cells rubs off. It leaves my skin feeling great.

The texture of this cream is lovely, it is really nourishing and keeps my skin hydrated. Love the fact that it has a sunscreen in as well and the pale peachy colour blends in and gives a lovely little glow. My skin really likes it and I will keep on using it.

Personally wouldn’t mix retinol and spf these should definitely be two separate products I did like how moisturising it felt on my face but wouldn’t recommend as part of a skin care routine retinol should be used at night mainly (if only) and spf as its own product at the end of a morning routine with daily top ups

Lovely hydrating face cream

I have been using this day cream for a few months now and am delighted with it. Keeps my skin hydrated and gives a nice healthy look to the skin, also the added sun protection is a bonus and I love the pale apricot colour. I’m 59 so a little older than the age recommended for this cream but my skin likes retinol and responds really well to the ingredients. Will keep using as it’s a great product.

Terrible. Do not use.

Bought this and used it Tuesday. By lunchtime I was covered in a rash that has just got worse and worse. It's like burns. Been on double antihistamines and steroid cream on doctor's advice. It's now so bad that I had to go to emergency clinic where they have said it's infected and prescribed strong antibiotics. This is all costing me time and money. I feel so sore and also poorly with it. I've had a fever this past two days because of the infection.

A bit stickier than the previous version. I used the same brand and name but a slightly different version and loved it; it sinks in really well and is easy to apply, spreads well. This one is slightly less good but still smells lovely and makes my skin feel nourished.

Dangerous

I bought and used this only once. Within an hour of applying to my face,it began to swell. I washed it off but 4 days later I'm still waiting for it to calm down. I'm not allergic to anything, but I will not be using this ever again

I used the same brand and name but a slightly different version and loved it; it sinks in really well and is easy to apply, spreads well. This one is slightly less good but still smells lovely and makes my skin feel nourished.

Never had a problem with my skin in 52 years and this is the only new product I have used. Gave two stars as the texture is lovely.

It just clogs my pores and doesn’t allow my skin to breathe. it doesn’t an absorb well and this makes it difficult to apply make up after use. it is also v heavily scented and feel so burny on my skin.

It also marked all the inside of my face masks - those I can deal with, since the staining is inside, but that’s three tops I have to throw out, so I’m not happy!

The collars & neck chest area of my white T-shirt’s, blouses and vest are now stained yellowish which must be from the SPF ingredient. I’ve even soaked them in vanish and the stain does not come out. It has ruined a number of my favourite tops - I will not be using again !

You can feel it whole day suffocating the skin. Take time and massage it in and needs to be powdered on top in summer. Think this will be better for winter for normal and oily skin types.

This is the one as it really does mousturise and leaves your skin absolutely gorgeous ,so soft and makeup applies flawlessly with it . I saw another reviewer unfortunately had issues with this pilling when she applied foundation but I'm not sure what caused that as I'm a makeup artist and have tried this with many different foundations and BB creams and thankfully never had any issues so maybe it could have been due to other products used in the routine I'm not sure . I know things can work differently for different people tho all depends on a number of things but I totally reccomend it .
