The dispenser doesn't work - serum is too thick

The serum is ok but its almost impossible to get out. The dispenser is awful, doesn't work. The serum is probably too thick and needs a pump. Have ended up decanting into a small pot. Won't be buying it again.

I have bought 3 bottles of this as I love the revitalift range and loreal in particular. The first bottle went off half way through, thought I might be doing something wrong or got a dud bottle so bought 2
more (on offer) but the same thing happened to them. I am unable to use them not even half way through the bottle before throwing away! I have attached my most recent bottle with is more than half way full and has already started changing colour texture. When initially opened the serum was completely opaque and runny but is now turning orange and thicker. Not a very happy customer 😒

Ruined my pillow cases

Bought a week ago, white pillow cases are now orange. Expensive when compared to cheaper brands that feel nicer on your skin and don’t stain your pillows. The serum separates in to two colours and won’t mix, doesn’t seem right?

Idk why people are complaining about the smell. It is there but it is not strong enough to spell past a few minutes. This stuff has me glowing and is great for black women/men with oily skin. I wash with Cerave gentle cleaner, good molecules niacinamide toner, this, the LP spf. I do have to blot my face because it’s oily, but this is the perfect amount of stick and only one drop is enough.

I bought from Amazon today and although the box still shows Pure Vitamin C +E+Salicylic Serum the bottle no longer does. I wasn't sure if it was genuine as the label on the bottle is also wonky and doesn't show Clinical. According to Loreal they have updated their packaging, to me now looks cheap. Not sure if that's the right colour as my old one had gone a dark orange colour (oxidised) but looks and smells ok.

Came oxidized

Bought from the store on Monday the 26th. It was already oxidized, yellow. The store itself I bought it from just opened on the 21, so it shouldn't have old product on shelf at this point.

I’ve been using this vitamin C serum for about a month, and I can already see the difference. My skin feels more hydrated, and there’s a visible glow, especially in the morning. I have combination skin, and it didn’t cause any breakouts. I love how it sits under my moisturizer and makeup. The only downside is the dropper bottle—can be a little messy. Overall, I’d give it a solid 4.5/5!

Started using this then a week later woke up with an orange face smelling like fake tan. Apparently it can happen if it oxidises ( so google told me). I had thought my face looked a little orange at work the previous day. Anyway straight in bin.

Strong fragrance

This Vitamin C & E Serum is absorbed into the skin well and does not leave your skin feeling greasy. However, it has a STRONG baby powder perfume smell that made my eyes sting even though I kept it at least 2 inches away from my eyes. Also, I could smell it on my face the whole day, so I was breathing in that chemical fragrance all day! I can't speak to its longterm result, because after 1 day of breathing in that smell I tossed the product. Wish they made a fragrance free version as I don't mind the natural smell.

Disappointed & Stains

I had a previous Loreal Vit C serum that I enjoyed. I purchased this approx 2months ago and something has changed, this product is overpriced for what it is. 2 big things I dislike:
Stains my hands orange like fake tan (I was so confused what was wrong with my hands and where it came from to the point I was getting worried..wish I read the reviews)
On the fake tan, I swear my hands actually smelt of it afterwards, again I had to stop using so many things to identify where this was coming from.
Much better options out there and even for a better price. Very disappointed and don't see any changes to my skin

This product is AMAZING. It does exactly what it says it does, with consistent use over time. I use 2-3 drops over my entire face and neck am and pm. You may be put off by a couple of things... the scent: it's nice, light, and doesn't last, but scent can be irritating and off putting for some. The dropper: this hands down is the reason why I can't give this incredible, multipurpose product 5 stars. The dropper is awful, and due to the nature of vitamin C, the constant exposure to air causes the vit. C to degrade much more quickly lessening its effectiveness (you'll notice it turns yellow/orange). They would be better off to put this product in a pump preventing vitamin C loss. I'm on my 3ed or 4th bottle, mid 40s, somewhat oily skin. It really works. This is the absolute base product of my skin care routine outside of prescription trentinoin.

I bought this after reading reviews but soon became exasperated by the dropper bottle which never worked properly. Then a few weeks later the liquid began to change in colour (dark brown) and texture (thick & gloopy). Regardless of how much I shake the bottle the remains are just a sticky mess which I don’t feel happy about continuing to use. Surely deterioration of the product such as this cannot be normal?

I used half a bottle. I loved it at first. It was light on the skin and light in color. Now the serum is orange and it is very sticky. On my face it is also sticky. I do not want to apply it. For the price and only getting to use half a bottle it is not worth it. I have always gotten good results with Loreal skin care products. I am sad this has happened.

Initially good, made my skin feel soft and glowy from the first application, but as time progressed the more it oxidised and the least effective it became. If the formula was more stable I would definitely be purchasing it again. But I guess I’ll just go back to The Ordinary L-Ascorbic acid with a few drops of Resveratrol and ferulic acid, which is a bit more hard work but definitely works wonders. Sadly a no from me.

I'm from Sri Lanka I switched to this product after hearing good things, but I'm disappointed. My skin was clear before, but now I have small bumps. I followed all the instructions and didn’t change my routine, so I’m unsure why this product isn't working for me. The product claims to improve skin, but it's doing the opposite for me. Despite following the instructions exactly, it’s just not working as advertised
Given the high cost, I expected better results. Can you explain why I might be having this reaction? Normally, your products are great, but this one isn't working for me. I hope to find a solution soon.
