I recently tried the L’Oréal True Match Plumping Tinted Serum for the first time, and I’m honestly so impressed. I’ve stopped wearing foundation and have been experimenting with different glow products to work into my routine, but this is without a doubt the best one I’ve tried. It’s incredibly lightweight, blends beautifully, and feels just like my skin—only smoother and more polished. The coverage is buildable without ever looking heavy, which makes it perfect for everyday wear. My skin looks fresh, natural, and radiant. 100% recommend!

As an male who likes to crossdress occasionally i have tried many different foundations, in an effort to hide my 70+ year old skin imperfections, non of which come close to this one, it is so light on the skin, but still manages to hide my blemishes without going cakey with just one application on top of a CC cream. It lasts so well too. I usually apply my makeup early afternoon, and it still looks good in the early hours of the morning. After a quick blitz of all nighter setting spray. I have been using this for about 2 years now, and wouldn't change it for anything.

I love this stuff!
Just bought my second bottle. I'm not very good at putting on makeup, never have been, and I'm 58 years of age with plenty of wrinkles and obvious pores on either side of nose. After skincare and SPF, I put a good few drops of this in my palm, rub hands together and then slap it on all over my face, ears, neck and chest. I don't use it to try and cover everything up but rather, to just smooth everything out and that's exactly what it does. I leave it a few minutes to soak in then take any shine off (more from SPF than this tinted serum) with a big fluffy brush and setting powder. It works a treat, and I really appreciate the dual purpose aspect of it as a tint and a skincare serum. It lasts all day for me, and it's really reasonably priced.

Fantastic serum for everyday use

Good product, terrible dispenser
I usually buy loreal true match foundation but bought this for a change. The dropper dispenser made it very messy - especially after shaking it. So much wasted! Shame as I liked the product.

This is the best formula I have ever used. I have dry skin and acne and it evens the skin enough without creasing or caking. My only issue is the shade range. 0.5 is no where near light enough but the formula and finish keeps me coming back.

I got the light version and it’s too dark, I was honestly surprised by the shade and them calling it light. So I have to use a lighter foundation to mix with to make it wearable otherwise it clashes completely with neck. It’s ok if you don’t want to wear foundation and just have light coverage serum type makeup on face.

I bought this as my first "foundation" since i wanted very natural 'no makeup' look and this literally does the job! Pricey but worth it, one bottle lasts about 3 months for me (nearly everyday use). I use it for school and no one knows im wearing makeup 😂 not even the teachers im not sure about the oxidising but from my veiw i think it doesnt oxidise that much.

Terrible container
I love this foundation and I am on my second bottle but the container is so messy!
Just come back from a few days away, the bottle has leaked, the product is all around the lid and caked on the dropper, I have now decanted it into a plastic travel bottle.
So messy. Surely there is a better solution L'Oréal?

This is an incredible, serum based, foundation.
If you are purchasing this as a serum with the added benefit of colour- marvelous. You’ll get exactly what you are hoping for.
If you are purchasing this as a lovely, glowy sheer to medium buildable foundation- you will also get what you are hoping for. If however you are looking for a foundation with flawless high coverage and aren’t prepping or finishing your skin appropriately for this foundation, don’t bother. there are other L’Oréal products available to you that will help you achieve this more simply.
This is an incredible product if you are using it in the correct way and managing your own expectations. If you’re more oily for example and want to use more as a foundation base, prep is key as is setting your base. A Matt primer under this, and a light brightening finishing powder will give you an amazing result. But don’t use this as a ‘normal’ foundation and be disappointed if it doesn’t perform how you expect it to.
Well done L’Oréal. This is a fabulous product, and gives its market ‘front runner’ an embarrassing run for its money at its comparative price point (I’d pay double- sshh don’t tell anyone ;))

Lovely light weight for a wash of color
Bought a week ago used everyday . Lightweight only a wash of color. Skin looks great. I am a medium beige in most things in this I went for 4.5 medium warm undertone so it gives me a glow. If this had spf I would go a shade up and us in summer as tinted moisturiser. I do sometimes suffer from perioral dermatitis and certain products flare it instantly this has been fine. Two applications give a little more coverage but I wanted something that wouldn’t look dry or sit in lines around my eyes and this doesn’t. It’s great for lightweight bit of a glow skin caring makeup

The perfect travel companion.
So when I was living abroad I took my whole make up routine with me and took this product along as an extra, all I can say is wow. When living in temperatures that hit 32 degrees the last thing you want is to wear a full face of make up with a thick full coverage foundation. On those days when I wanted a little extra glam I would wear this with a little blush, lashes and lip gloss and I was set. Definitely a summer staple.

Great product, horrible packaging
I purchased the lightest shade of this product and it matches my skin well even though I’m very pale. The coverage is also better than I expected it to be and it has a very subtle shimmer to it giving you a healthy looking glow. I’ve found that it lasts well throughout a 12 hour shift on my combination skin, however does transfer slightly. I will probably repurchase this when I run out as it’s nice just for every day when you don’t want to do a full face of makeup. The one thing I really dislike is the dropper style packaging. I find the product tends to boils up and came around the neck of the bottle no matter how careful you are with it. I also feel it would be quite easy to knock over when placing the dropper in or out. I would much prefer pump style packaging.

It’s really is light weight serum with a hint of coverage - more slight evenness of skin tone than coverage. For example if have angry red spot it would reduce redness to be less obvious and not first thing you notice but still have some redness (if that makes sense).

i love the coverage and how even it makes my skin tone look even with blemishes/older scars - and you can still see freckles through it. definitely not a product if you want full coverage. also amazing for my really pale skin. minus one star because of the applicator.. it does do the job but a bit messy. i believe you can buy other foundation pumps that fit this bottle but i haven’t taken the dive yet!

Great for those who dont like wearing foundation
I dont normally wear foundation because i have big pores and no matter how i prime it just doesnt seem to look good on my skin. But wearing this is like a dream its like having a second layer of skin. Evens your skin tone without looking cakey and is buildable coverage if you want it to be. Makes my skin look dewy and looks smooth. Highly recommended

After seeing this foundation all over TikTok I decided to give it a try - I always wear high end foundations so didn’t expect to like it.. this is actually very nice on the skin, doesn’t accentuate fine lines either which is a big plus! Definitely worth a try :)

Very light matched well. Provided good coverage, better than most foundations. Dropper is a waste of time. As it labelled a serum which has HA and supposed to be skin care, I am unsure if I am supposed to remove it like I would a foundation. L'Oréal needs to make that instruction clear. It does however smells disgusting, but I wonder if Ocado is selling old stock.

Arrived beautifully packaged and the bottle itself is super sleek! On applying it doesn’t leave a sticky residue like some serums I’ve used in the past, which was a huge bonus for me as I hate that tacky feeling. It glides on easily leaving a gorgeous refreshed, glowy look to your skin

I have used the regular true match in 2 vanilla for quite a while, but being a woman over 50 I felt it settled quite cakey at times.. my skin is starting to age and look crepey amd I always felt it was a little too thick and I was contemplating a change of brand. I went into my chemist today and spotted this so I took a punt on it. Brilliant choice. I chose light and omg the colour match to my skin is seamless amd no caking on my crepey skin. In fact my skin looks very smooth and quite luminous. I'm sold

I haven’t been using this product for that long but it is amazing. My skin is really dry so finding makeup for my skin that doesn’t look cakey is really tricky, but this product looks stunning on my skin and feels just like you are applying skincare. The coverage is quite light which I don’t mind because I dislike wearing heavy makeup and I noticed that it gave my pale skin a bit of colour which I really liked. Would definitely recommend to anyone with dry skin <3
