Excellent Reformulation!
Excellent reformulation! I stopped using this pressed powder. The new embossed R in the powder is creamy and no longer chalky. L’Oréal, you appear to have listened to your customers. I use the share 1R/1C, which is perfect for my skin.

Smooth finish over moisturiser, even on older skin
I don’t wear foundation so this powder is perfect over your favourite moisturiser. I use the colour ‘Neutral’, now re-named ‘Beige’ for some reason, which gives a perfect finish, even on my 67 year old skin. As an older customer, I also appreciate the integrated mirror and the powder puff, which I prefer to a brush.

Love it
I use the rose ivory in winter and the gold ivory in summer (my skin changes tone with the sun) I love it so much! It's a sheer coverage so if you want more you need a different product. But I like a really really natural makeup look and this is ideal. It evens out my skin tone, takes away shine (I struggle with shine) and I can't feel it once it's on which I love! Perfect even in the heat. I would fully reccomend this. I havent found another powder that suits my skin colour/tone or looks as natural so 5*!

No colours suitable for darker skin
I really liked the look of this product only to go to the shade options and find there’s only shades suitable for those with lighter skin. It’s sad that in this day and age this is still a problem.

Worth the money
On its own offers the coverage of a tinted moisturiser. It works well on top of foundation, concealer or sunscreen. The biggest plus is that blurs pors and gives a satin finish on the oily skin. Very convenient and easy to reapply on the go.
For light skin with warm undertones I went for beige and its a pretty good match.

Colour matches perfectly and sets make up!
While not all the L’Oréal true match products have been up to snuff this pressed powder is rather good for the price point. It comes in a square plastic box, even though it scratches easily in the make up bag, the second compartment opens with a wonderful mirror and slim powder puff. I wasn’t expecting that for the price. Rose ivory, my true match, comes in the pressed powder and I found while the coverage was minimal on its own it is amazing on top of the concealer and for setting the foundation!

Used to be great
This used to be my repeat purchase item. On it's own it gave just enough coverage for everyday wear and looked great. Since the expansion of the range, the quality appears to have gone downhill. I have very slight redness which this used to cover. Sadly it doesn't any more, even though my skin isn't any worse. I can't find the shade I used to use (W6 honey) anywhere and the other similar colours make me look too orange or too washed out. I've given up now and switched to another
brand.

Perfect for oily skin
I have incredibly oily skin and I now use this everyday, either on top of foundation or just on its own. It mattifies skin without making it look cake, and gives a good buildable coverage.

Not what I have used before
I've been using Loreal True magic from last 6 years and I always bought from store and this my favourite face powder ever but for the very first time I ordered it online and when I received the product I feel it's packaging n label is different And when I started using, it is definitely not what I been using from many years regularly there is low in quality or I have to say not original because I know very well about its quality as long time user

WOW!!
WOW-this is truly the BEST powder i have ever used. I bought it when i was younger, to try it out, but diddnt even think of buying it again, as my friend had a new powder and i wanted to buy that one to 'keep up' with her!! typical!! anyways...i have just got this again and it is truly wonderful-matches my skin tone perfectly...and so silky. also keeps that dreaded shine at bay!! great!!

great for everyday use
I bought this product because my old one has been discontinued. I was very surprised, I have normal skin and medium skin tone, after using this the result was a natural look. Easy to apply with a nice velvet feel, the sponge is good for a quick fix and the mirror is a bonus, great handbag size. To sum it up a great makeup at a great price. My advice try it.

Indeed a True Match!
Loved this product. The colour "Golden Ivory" really matched my skin tone. The finish is very smooth and lasted all day. Loved too the compact, an unusual design and just the right size to fit in a small bag. Highly recommended.

Great drugstore powder
This product is perfect to use either on its own or as a finishing powder to set makeup. It feels very silky, doesn't cake over foundation and absorbs any shine on the face. There are also a good selection of shades to choose from. Good product overall.

An excellent powder alternative to liquid foundation
I use this powder instead of foundation, despite it not being advertised as a powder foundation. I find it builds and covers really well, and there is an excellent range of shades available. Golden Ivory works very well as a yellow-based shade for very fair skin tones.

Excellent powder
Really like this to set my foundation which is also loreal true match range so perhaps being on the same range they compliment each other well.
The formula is not bone dry or cakey but just nicely covers and mattifys foundation, does not settle into fine lines and does not leave any dry patches on my cheeks. Feels light on the skin
Lasts a long time and I only have to touch up if I'm going out in the evening, though I only have light combination skin and oiler skins may find they do need to touch ups more regularly but I was fine which is my favourite thing because it is so time saving to not have to touch up and just rely on a product to last the day.
Colour match is also perfect.

I have recently purchased this powder in Boots and was very pleased with it. I have oily skin and my make up lasted way longer with this powder. It gives you a great coverage but still has a natural finish. Love the package but not too keen on the sponge. I use a brush instead.

the packaging has been updated since the picture on this site, its now sure with a sliver border. It feels durable and the product pan flips up revealing a mirror and a powder puff, making it perfect for touch ups oh the go. The powder itself is perfectly matte, no shimmer at all and is great at oil absorption. I use a little on my t zone over foundation and then pop it in my bag for a touch up later. Great quality well priced product.

Wonderful!
This has to be the best product that I've ever bought. It goes on easily with a powder brush, which I prefer to use and covers flaws in my skin quite well; in fact I've been using it on it's own over moisturiser and without foundation. It's very natural-looking and the beige shade is perfect for me.

Nice soft powder that has a good even finish
I've been using this powder in this colour for ages but recently they have changed the packaging and the colour of the powder is quite a lot darker now which is such a disappointment. Is still gives a lovely coverage and texture but use it sparingly as the colour is a bit more orange now.

Flawless, although I'm not fond of the new packaging.
I've been buying this powder for 4 years now and I love it. It is quite expenisve but the feel and finish it gives are perfect. It keeps my make-up put all day and night, even if I cry or in the rain. It also makes my skin look flawless. The only downside is the new packaging. I don't really like the new applicator, but I suppose it's because I'm so used to applying with the old sponge.

Horrified!
I started using this in Golden Beige years ago and loved it! I used to swear by this to set my foundation and concealer. I ran out and bought another yesterday. I noticed that the packaging had changed from a circular box to a square one. I checked that the name was still the same, picked it up and paid for it without the faintest cloud of doubt in my mind. This morning I apply my concealer, foundation and then this. What was once the perfect match for my skin tone, is now orange powder! I look like an oompa loompa! Horrified!

first of all, let me tell you about my skin. I have a dry forehead, oily skin and I suffer from acne and was hoping that this would be the miracle product after reading the reviews, however, I was sadly mistaken. I bought this product a few weeks ago and was so excited to use this product and was hoping it would cover up shiny spots and after using No7 press powder for almost a year, I fancied something different. For starters, I was shocked by the packaging, it broke within 2 days and I now have to use a bit of sellotape to hold it together. I applied it to my face and it doesn't sit right on my face at all. it looked orange on my dry areas and just sat on my pores, which made them even more obvious! After using this product for almost 3 weeks now, I will be going back to No7 powder instead of wasting money on this useless product.
