I bought this product as I am 68 and very grey haven’t dyed my hair since the start of Covid Covid and gone naturally grey but I having tins of yellow appearing in the ends which is distressed me so I thought I’d try this product and it works I have an overall lovely colour of a shimmery textured purple in the sunlight. Love it

I bought this and used it today. Wowr, what a difference my hair is truly hardy showing it lightened it perfectly with such a high shine and so smooth. Best my hair has looked in ages since I had very. I love it.
Trick is pick the right shade for you, there's three. Wash your hair in your usual shampoo, let it go the damp hair not wet. I put on gloves, for my short hair I used the sure of a 10p coin, rubbed it in my palms. Then started where I wanted most lights, front and sides, then mid and back finished with crown. Lightly comb it through. Leave on for 2 minutes to see how it works first rinse off thoroughly and style as normal. Wow.

I love this, goes on so easily with no mess. I left it on for the maximum 15 minutes and it worked so well. The coverage and colour is amazing, and my hair feels so soft. I had dark salt and pepper hair at the back and lighter grey/white and still a little brown at the front. Beautifully blended mix of grey now that I’ve been complimented on. It’s been 7 washes now and hasn’t faded too much but I’ll probably top up next wash. Probably still another 3 or 4 uses out of the tube so amazing value

My hair is more white than grey so I did not want to put this on all of my hair so I just put it on the front of my hair where the hair is darker. I liked the colour very much and will definitely be using the rest of the product.

Worth a try!

I’m still growing out my original brown colour and have mostly white at the front. I used this on my darker grey underneath and at the back, as well as on my brown at the ends. It turned out well and left my hair in good condition. Will use again, maybe all over next time to see how it turns out.

Found this a really easy treatment to use goes on easily personally I think it’s got a slight coconut smell to it ! Left it on for full 15 minutes for a more intense look easily washed out no staining and left hair feeling soft and shinny would highly recommend for those with a dark grey hair

Great for grey tones

First of all don’t be put off by the colour! Easy to apply and clear instructions. My hair is slightly lighter grey at the front and after use the colour was much more even. Slight yellowing on ends had gone and the overall tone was much more uniform. My hair was left soft and shiny! Very pleased.

Brilliant colour just to dark for me

Applied this to my hair hair felt really soft and manageable but the colour really really didn’t suit me, I thought it made me look old, Daughter came said she didn’t like the colour either, but the actual conduit my hair was incredible really nice maybe a lighter shade would have suited o well if you don’t try you will never know

This is really nice. No unpleasant smells, doesn’t stain your fingers or scalp, my hair felt really soft after use. However, I think my hair isn’t’grey’ enough to see the benefit. I would definitely say you need to have at least 60% of your hair grey to see the benefits.

Surprisingly silver

I was nervous to try this having grown out my hair grey already. It made my hair soft and smooth. The colour was amazing. Just need to see how long it will last now. Smells good and easy to apply. We will definitely try it again.

What a great product L'Oréal Cool Silver enhancing treatment is! It's added shine to my lackluster dark grey hair and has made it look like it was a choice to have grey hair instead of something that just happened to me! Cool silver hair

I used L'Oréal cool-silver through my gray hair left it on for the recommended 10 min. It's quite a thick cream to put on. After drying, my hair looked in good condition and the colour change was subtle at the same time my hair had a shine to it and I could see silver/purple highlights. Iv washed my hair a few times now and the colour is still there.

Really cool and it looks like it’s a trend these days to those in late 40’s upwards showing up graying hair. Personally I really like it and share to my cousins whom getting silver and wanted to change but encourage not to just stay and embrace as is.

Great on blonde hair too

I am very happy with L'Oreal cool silver. I have dyed blonde hair and suffer from brassiness so I thought I would try this product & chose Absolute Silver. It is very good indeed and the best thing I have ever used to combat brassiness. I leave it on for 10 minutes and the effects last longer than a everything other product I have tried. You get up to 4 uses in one pack and it leaves my hair in lovely condition too. Well worth a try & not just for grey hair.

Too purple

Can’t say I’m a lover of this product. My hair is short and dark grey especially at the back but the product gave my hair too much of a purple shade which I really don’t want. I may try and leave it on for just a few minutes to see if result is any better.but won’t repurchase this.

I found this product very easy to apply and the results were very natural. It gave great tone and depth to my hair and left it feeling silky smooth and nourished and without breakages. Looking forward to seeing the colour develop overtime.

This is super easy to use, although I would definitely recommend using gloves and an old town it’s temporary so it just gives a nice much-needed boost a freshen up to grey hair but reassuring as it will eventually wash out

Subtle but effective sheen for natural hair.

Great for natural grey hair without any dye or bleach in it.
I wanted something to give my hair a bit of a polish, just enhance it. This was perfect! The condition is great, no fluffy hair. I have natural Salt and Pepper with much more salt through the top and sides so chose the darker of the 3. My hair has an almost metalic silver sheen to it that I'm very happy with. There are plenty of products that tone highlights or dye but not many for actual Grey hair. I like it, I will probably see how the other shades work but so far, happy with this result.

Tried this for the first time today. My hair currently growing out blonde so it's a bit uneven in blonde ends and natural grey tones through the roots etc. Applied and left for 15m, washed out and hair felt very comfortable and smooth, no need for conditioner. Live the way it has toned down the yellowish blonde, but given my grey growth a lovely healthy tone. Will be using this once a week I think !!

Lo compré hoy. Inmediatamente lo he querido probar. Tengo las puntas con un rubio claro bastante feo. Menos mal que he probado solo en dos mechas y con dos distintos. El gris me lo ha dejado morado oscuro y el blanco morado claro y en mi pelo sal y pimienta igual que antes. Vaya desilusión!!!! Dinero tirado a la basura. Qué alguien me explique cómo les queda tan divino por favor....

I tried this and followed the instructions for a 10 minute application. I have short, light grey hair and while this turned out a little darker than expected, it is excellent at producing a soft glossy feel and a lovely shine. It smooths out the uneven colour variation in my hair. I’m pleased. Next time I’ll probably leave it in for 5 minutes and not even have to use as much.

Don’t be fooled by the video, my mum watched and believed it was to make the ends of the hair to blend with her silver roots. Was all done correctly by lightening the brassiness of the old hair colour ends but this done nothing for the ends. However it seemed to lighten her silver roots which looked ok

Bought this today after reading the previous review. I used it immediately and left it on for 25 mins. It has left my hair soft and smelling amazing but most importantly I’ve found a product which is going to help me grow out my silver hair. It’s knocked out most of the brassiness from previous dyeing and has smudged the demarcation line which was quite visible. The silver hair growing through is also a lovely soft shade (not purple) I’ve tried many other semi permanent toners which didn’t work at all but this is brilliant for me. Not sure how long it will last but I’ll be happy to re buy and use regularly.
