Waste of money. Very disappointing. Bought this as a treat for myself. I've lost my brows thanks to menopause.
I'm on a low income so I bought this brand thinking it would be reliable.
It is awful.
It either doesn't work at all or too much comes out and only one of the fibre tips works.

Nice tip I loved this from the first use. The colour works well with my brows and allows me to even and thicken the look of my brows. It blended well and looked natural. The only downside is that it doesn’t seem to last well/dries out in the tube. Date published: 2026-03-03

Perfection Received the faux brow pen from Lorealistar UK to review. Having never been able to find a good shade match with any brow product in the past I’m so excited to finally find one that suits me.
It took a little practice to get the pressure right when applying but I got there. This is my new go to product.

Natural looking It’s possible to achieve very fine, natural looking strokes with this pen. Easily removed with makeup wipes, I haven’t tested it swimming so not sure if it’s water resistant. My only comment is that it’s quite dark, I chose blonde but I would say it’s more of a dark blonde so I might try a lighter shade. Helps achieve a realistic look to sparse eyebrows This is the first product I’ve found that actually fills in gaps and bald patches in my eyebrows and gives a realistic look. It’s a cosmetic felt tip pen with two tips rather than an ‘eyebrow mascara’ or little bottle of paint which every other product I’ve tried has turned out to be. I have one thinning eyebrow and it’s really quite simple to fill in the gaps to give a fuller appearance. However, my other eyebrow is very, very sparse and it takes a lighter touch to avoid it looking completely fake. I am going to try a combination of Soft Black and a lighter colour to see if I can use both to get a more natural shade. Date published: 2025-09-24

No colour very dry no strokes Do not waste your money! I repeat do not waste your money. Either this is a terrible product or boots are selling faulty expired products. Great product - needs a cooler taupe/grey shade Many of us with sparse menopausal brows need this amazing brow filler with its double fine lines, but the shades are either too warm or too dark for those of us with pale cool tones skin and lots of white/grey hair. The pen itself is amazing and it really doesn’t budge for ages but I’m desperate for a grey/taupe cool tones skin. Natural thin brow lines I was sceptical when I first bought it because online reviews were mixed. It’s is one of the best brow pencils I’ve used - you need to use a light touch to get thin, natural looking lines (if you press to hard, you’ll get thick line that look more like a liquid eye liner - practice a few strokes on you wrist to gauge the correct pressure for a natural looking brow). Runs out instantly RUBBISH! Don’t bother. I purchased this product and was super happy with the results - it draws really realistic hairs on your brows - but then found that the pen runs out after a WEEK! I dont know if it was just the way i was trying to do it the fact I dont have to much eyebrow or if it was the product itself so im not going to put it completely under scrutiny! I really struggled to get "hair" looking fine lines in my brows and the whole tint well i didnt see it at all in all fairness and my eyebrows are blonde to the point they cannot be seen unless penciled/filled i have spme great products from loreal but this will be my first ever pass and lower star ! I did find the shade a bit of a ginger colour ,so i would use a darker shade next time.

Non smudge eyebrows! This eyebrow pen is a very dark black colour and the pigment has a slight shine to it. I found it difficult to get a natural looking line but that might have been down to my application technique. The product has real staying power however and didn’t smudge all day. Go-to easy to use brow brush My usual brow products are powder and brush based so I was excited to try this. The two small brushes apply ink, which you need to brush on in the direction of hair growth, otherwise it can look a bit heavy or sit on your skin. Clever little brow booster I usually use a powder on my brows but I was interested to try this. The little brush head is very clever as it looks like little hairs when applied, giving a more natural look. I found the colour worked well for me and blended well with my existing eyebrows.
