Avoid Corail shade

I have been using this lipstick range for years and it's the most reliable product range I've ever come across... othe than the Corail shade which I have bought twice and it does not stay on as well as all the other shades

Sad to see the original has gone

I have used this product for years and loved it. The secret is to apply the colour and wait a couple of minutes before applying the balm. It then lasts for many hours. I was so upset to see that L'oreal have replaced / changed it to new packaging and I cannot see the colour 213 Toujours teaberry in the new range. Please can someone tell me if it is still available to buy from UK as Boots and Amazon no longer stock it. Thanks

Peels after an hour and leaves lips so dry

I bought this from Boots in Balham and wore this yesterday and within an hour the colour started peeling off leaving a very patchy colour. The lipstick completely dries out the lips and you can’t reapply it because of all the peeling and flakes. Do not recommend. Regret purchasing this.

Dreadful product

I brought this to replace my normal lipstick which is discontinued. It’s absolutely awful. Within a few minutes it felt grainy and sandlike. I had to remove it and won’t be using it again so a total waste of money. In my opinion don’t buy it

I have Relentless Rouge and Incessant Russet. I don't think the range of colour choices is as wide as the old Infallible, however, this is a fairly new product, so I am hoping new colours will be added. Much better texture than the old Infallible. I preferred the old style packaging, as it was mirrored and I like gold or silver packaging! This product lasts and last without going 'crumbly' and without feeling uncomfortable on lips. Colour really does last on me for 24 hours (I slept in it one night to test!). The colour faded very slightly but evenly. So the cons for me would just be that more colour choice is needed and the old style packaging was more useful and more aesthetically pleasing.

love the colour but the balm does not 'set' the dried lip colour for very long and definitely not 24 hrs - and bled on to my teeth. I have used M&S same type and it worked fine so expected more from L'Oreal - very disappointed

Love this product. Stays on all day, even after lunch and dinner. Stops my lips from drying out and keeps them hydrated. I’ve tried other brands and they just don’t compare.

Brilliant lipstick

I bought this a week ago and I love the colour, and it lasts all day, but after eating I usually top up if eating has removed some of the colour but otherwise lovely lipstick

I bought this on 05.05.2022 - thinking yes I've a lasting red lippy. I applied it next morning within an hour it went flaky and had to reapply it and so on! But the colour is beautiful! WONT BE BUYING AGAIN

Infallible 24 hr - an absolute misdescription. Inferior product that barely lasts a few hours. Complete waste of money. A standard lipstick is longer-lasting

Like it but not enough balm to last

Have used this a few times but there is not enough balm and it runs out too soon. I am left with plenty of colour which i then have to throw away as its useless without the balm. Please supply more balm.

Perfect lipstick

Since ages this lipstick is my -best friend- I couldn't imagine better.It stays on my lips even after eating, drinking.It is really comfortable to wear it...oh and it doesn't dry my lips!

I brought two of these not too long ago and used them, it goes clumpy very quickly, comes off your lips and doesn’t stay in place, leaves your lips looking patchy and once you apply the balm it makes it even more patchy, if you don’t apply the balm it’s very sticky. I don’t recommend

Got talked into buying this instead of more expensive brands I usually buy and cannot believe how awful it is. Colour disappears after about 15 minutes and left with dry, flaky bits of lipstick on my lips!

I have purchased every long lasting lippy available and they may last but they don’t look as good as when they were applied! BUT this one really does it actually really does, it looks lush when applied and at the end of the day it hadn’t gone bitty, it was all still there and I had the paler shades which never worked in other brands (maybeline)I am so pleased. I can not recommend this lippy enough, this is a winner, no more nasty embarrassing lippy!!!! Thank you L’Oréal x

Although the colours have 3 stages it seems.. the colour on the tin, the colour with first application and then the colour it fades quickly into. So unfortunately choosing the right colour isn’t easy but once you find the one that suits it really is longwear and can easily be filled in as long as your lips are dry enough when reapplying if needed.

It lasts all day (apart from when eating some foods) and lips stay moisturised thanks to the stage 2 Booster Balm. Rated 5 out of 5 by souxies from Amazing! Stays perfect all day I love these infallible lipsticks. Amazing colours and it really lasts all day. I do not understand the bad reviews? I think perhaps the application process is key. One thin layer then leave to dry a few mins before applying the balm. You will need the balm through out the day to prevent dryness but its a small price to pay for the perfect all day lip.

I love my highlighting palette from L'Oreal and was looking for a new lipstick so decided to try this as it had a high star rating. It dries out fast and started coming off in flakes and looking very tacky. For a supposedly 24 hr product, it lasted less long than my normal lipstick. Tried using more of the balm or another clear balm on top, as other reviewers have suggested, but nothing helped. Complete waste of my money, and very disappointed in L'Oreal, especially as I bought two shades...

Rated 5 out of 5 by 1968Tinkerbelk from Love everything about this duo! I love the colour/love the boosting balm and the shimmer on this lipstick. Having bought another branded duo for years I bought this along with another 2 to try out. This is my favourite of all 3 and lasts all day without drying my lips out! You need to wait till it dries and although it appears a bit tacky once it's dry then the balm goes on I don't need to think about again all day. If I was going out after work I just pop some gloss on top to vamp it up a bit.

After using it for 2 days alone, my lips are extremely dry and are starting to crack, even with applying the balm attached to the gloss.
