Usage
Begin with clean eyebrows and start where your brows are more sparse. Apply in upwards motions to create hair-like strokes. Blend it in with the spoolie. To set your eyebrows, apply Brow Artist Plump and Set.

Easy to apply

My usual eyebrow pencil was not in stock so I decided to try this one. On the plus side it’s easy to apply and has a fine point so you can mimic individual hairs. I got the brunette colour and it is a little darker than I like so I try to apply it with a light touch.

I have tried a number of brow sticks, and this one works as it covers well.Though i have to use quite a bit due to the fact that i have thin brows! And it comes in a variety of colours.

I have no eyebrows left now, so this is good for drawing them in. A good shade of blonde. Very fine point that doesn't need sharpening. Lasts mostly all day but rubs off a bit. Goes on smoothly eith no waxy bits.

Devastated... I used the silver style pencil for years and loved it, the shade blonde 101 was so perfect as I found other brands added too much yellow or orange pigment and this was so natural, easy to apply and lasted all day. When I recently went to boots I couldn't find it anywhere... Turns out it's been rebranded so me being naive bought the new one (casing now black) in the shade blonde 7.0 thinking it would be the same... It's not, it's not as creamy and the shade is nowhere near the same.

I used the Skinny Definer Brow Artist pencil for 6+ years. Came to repurchase, only to find this new "rebrand", I figured it would be the same but they have changed the formula. If you loved the one in the silver pencil like I did, don't waste your money on this like me. The new formula is far too creamy, bordering on greasy. The claim of "24 hour wear"? Laughable! You might make it an hour before it smears or just plain rubs off. Compared to the previous version of this product, this wipes away instantly, gentle strokes appear as if applied with a heavy hand and yet somehow lack deep pigment (Shade: Ebony), no crisp lines to be found. L'Oreal Paris really missed the mark with this, I'll be switching brands.

104 Chatain - product no longer exists

FYI - it seems some the shades and names of the shades have changed and Boots have not updated their website to reflect this. I ordered 104 Chatain and was sent 6.32 Auburn. The Auburn is slightly more red/warm in colour than the Chatain shade
Boots should have updated their website - after receiving the product and then researching I found out via a competitor website that L'Oreal have removed some of the shades of this product and created new shades.

I buy the shade dark brown however the recent changes to the product (the black packaging rather than the usual grey) has meant that the shade colour has also changed. The colour is now more orange toned like the shade ‘brunette’ and is therefore not the correct colour for my brows anymore!

I love this eyebrow pencil! The tip is slightly angled and it applies so quickly and easily, and stays put all day. I love that it has a brush at the end so you can perfect the shape really quickly as well. This shade was a little too light on my so I used another colour as well and used the brush to blend them. Love it and will get more.

Very easy to use, colour matches perfectly, it is not oily, does not fade away or wipes out on skin, no need to spend a very long time doing my eyebrows. I use especially on days when I don't wear a lot of makeup.

Never recieved this product off loreal. Not the first time this has happened. No reply off loreal after several attempts to get them to send another one out. Can't give an un biased opinion or review as I have nothing to review. Dont like leaving reviews like this as I love all the products I get to test, but loreal dpnt listen to emails regarding missing items.

Brilliant fine eyebrow pencil

I just love these eyebrow pencils. So easy to use and give excellent, fine brows. I have coloured blonde hair, green eyes and a fair complexion and am currently using No. 103, warm blonde and it is a natural light brown and perfect for my, rather, over plucked brows and because it is fine it enables me to create 'hairs' to achieve a very acceptable natural look. I also use this one with the blonde pencil to create a perfect brow when I do a full on make up. Excellent retractable pencil and so easy to use, thoroughly recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised at how effective it was - and how easy it was to use - a perfect size to fit into my make up bag - and when I applied it, it looked so natural and defined - so, overall really pleased and would most definitely recommend it to all of my friends.

Ok so great product but I’m staying loyal to my brow architect. Colour is okay, I should have got a darker colour but it’s nice for adding shade and definition to my brows. Goes on well and feels nice on.

Excellent product. The colour is fantastic. I always go for a darker shade but this is spot on and have had lots of compliments. Being retractable helps massively as no there is no chance of the tip snapping and hunting for a sharpener.

I had to get a brow pencil as lockdown has really affected my look. I went for the blonde and it looks fab. Easy to apply and doesn’t look over the top. In fact it’s better then my expensive one but a lots cheaper. I ended up getting my mum one as well it’s that good.

Love my L'oreal Lockdown Look

Living in one of the areas that are again under lockdown restrictions I was delighted when I could try two new products from L'oreal especially as I haven't worn any makeup now I'm working from home.
Firstly I used the Skinny Definer Brow Artist. Choosing the dark blonde shade I drew in fine strokes and then brushed my brows in an upwards direction to achieve a really natural look beautifully defined. I really appreciate the retractable tip so no need to sharpen. Smudgeproof, waterproof and with 6 shades to choose from this will become one of my staple products.

I've used my fair share of eyebrow pencils, and i have to say this is by far the best ever. It leaves such a natural, neat looking, defined brow. It's the perfect colour (i bought dark blonde for reference, and I am naturally fairy light blonde).

This is an excellent product, firstly because it is very well-presented in a very slim, neat, attractive, retractable pencil design, easily stored in makeup bag or handbag, with a very handy brush at one end to arrange eyebrow hairs very naturally. Once applied it does not instantly give the effect that make-up has been used, always a bonus. And does not easily rub off just by touching it. I love this product, and will always have it in my makeup bag, thank you!

Easy to use as the pencil is thin so you can be very precise. The brush helps you spread it on your eyebrows evenly. Downside: comes off easily with water.

Never really used an eyebrow pencil. So thought would give a go. Quite like this one as is easy to use. Not sure I have the right colour as I have quite dark eyebrows. Even though I'm blonde. Found the harder I push the darker it came out so it's not to bad. It's nice and soft too.

10 out of 10 for this product. Love the thin pencil which is really easy to apply especially where I have gaps where eyebrow hair has disappeared. I found the pencil very easy to use and the brush very useful. Will continue to buy this product.

I love this brow pencil especially the fact you can screw it up and down so you don’t have to sharpen it like other brow pencils I’ve brought before. Lovely colour and it goes on so well. Feels good as it goes on and gives a good coverage.
