Worst foundation Ive ever bought

I bought this yesterday thinking it would be better than my sleek foundation. Omg the worst foundation ive ever put on my face. Its patchy, cakey, and when u put on blush or contour on it does not want to blend at all and it makes my face itch. Will not buy again im sticking to the sleek foundation.

I bought two bottles, my usual shades, but with the new formulation I may as well wipe my face with my morning coffee. Gave the bottles a shake to see if the product would thicken up but it emptied itself into the lid. What a mess. Any ideas anyone?

Was very happy at first try due to the variety colours available and the affordable price. But my skin breaks out after 2 days of applying it. Because it's delayed reaction, I suffered few times to realised its problem (I thought I had windburn or rosacea). I have sensitive skin and I thought this is friendly to my skin, apparently not. I searched online, huge amounts of good reviews, I trusted them all. DONT BUY IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN!

I have finally found a liquid foundation that is the perfect colour match. So glad you launch Linen 1.5N its lovely for everyday as I am pale but with a neutral undertone and a lot of paler foundations have pinky tones. Please do not discontinue this product or shade!

So I thought I'd give this a try after constantly seeing it advertised on TV and also hearing good things about it. Usually I use MAC or Bobbi Brown, but I wanted a nice light wearing foundation to wear in the day for work so I thought I'd give this a try! I'm shade 8.D/8.W - and it's hard enough as it is to find foundation for coloured skin this shade was actually ok but just the tiniest bit darker than what I usually use! It's a lot more runny to foundations I usually use, but feels nice to put on the skin. Long lasting effects not good, my skin kept getting greasy half way into the day & I love a matte finish on my skin! Also I've noticed it's glittery and I find that so annoying I didn't realise until I first put it on my face and then when shining a light on the bottle I then seen! I would only use this as a last resort!. I've now gone back to my original foundations, which makes me think stick to would you know, and even then I don't think I'd use true match again it'll just be left sitting there!. Personally I don't think it's a good foundation for coloured skin! But the true match liquid concealer on the other hand, very good product! Maybe this just isn't suited to my skin, which is a shame!.

Awful quality

I bought it on saturday the 7th as wanted hydrating and lighter coverage, but the product is absolutely shocking. By far the worst foundation I tried so far. It just goes off your face in roles, is patchy. Going to return it asap.

Almost 10 years on I still find myself going back to this foundation, definitely a staple in my makeup bag. Love that it’s non comedogenic and fragrance free, now with hyaluronic acid. Great when my skin is having a moment. Good coverage, skin like finish. Best colour match for my yellow undertone.

It highlights every single imperfection I have. Makes fine lines look like wrinkles as it sits on creases, makes pores look big and the colour doesn’t match like it promises. I’ve ensured to use silicone based primers and took steps to care for my skin - I’m very disappointed as it’s highly regarded for a high street brand.

It’s very buildable so perfect for any look ranging from “no makeup” to everyday to full glam. The shade range is great and i was able to match mine so well. It doesn’t dry my skin out, it feels good on the face. As for longetivity, it will budge. I find it fades off a bit throughout the day depending on how much im outside which is a bit of a bummer.

The coverage is buildable, but it's one of the worst foundations I've ever used. I've tried various primers and moisturizers beforehand, and no matter what, it looks cakey on my skin and emphasizes lines. It also runs out quickly, I need to use more than with other products. I didn't try this in store so chose my shade just by looking at the swatches. It is slightly darker than my skin but the color matching technology (don't ask me how it works) meant it blended into my skin and looked natural It is quite liquid which I am not used to but applying it was a dream as it glided over my skin when I applied it with my fingers, covering every pore and blemish while still looking like my skin, but better. It didn't leave it oily looking just healthy and luminous so I think this would work for most skin types.

I have a mature skin and as it says, it offers a true match to the natural colour of my skin and I have now used it for several years. In winter I use a paler colour - 3N - then adapt it as the seasons change to a mixture of 3 and 4 then to 4N in summer. I gives medium coverage with a slight glow to the skin. Never dry and cakey. I look out for Boots' excellent 3 for 2 L'Oreal offers which come along regularly and so must make it one of the most affordable offers on the market for an excellent product.

However would always find nothing worked as well and I would always go back to the expensive foundation. But that was before I tried this - my skin looks airbrushed with this foundation and it goes on so easily with a damp blender. Long-lasting too and my makeup still looks just as good when I get home from work. Haven’t used the expensive foundation since discovering this.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Chch from Chalky and disappointing This sits on top of my skin like a chalky powder, catching in all my imperfections. Using different blending tools or heavier moisturizer didn’t help. Perhaps using a primer may improve things, but for me it’s not fit for purpose. I was looking for something mattifying for my oily skin that didn’t look horribly yellow, but couldn’t even get it on properly to test either feature. I have a feeling that it may have been alright, colour-wise, so I’ll give it one star for that, and one star for not having an overwhelming scent.
