Honestly really poop

I bought this about a year ago, it was in a blue tube back then. Definitely not water proof! Smudges all over my eyelids and at the end of the day there’s barely any product left on my lashes and crumbs left over my face. I try not to be wasteful so I’ve used it to death but now very happy to throw it away.

Smudges very easily

Recently started wearing this and not keen - it smudges very easily, almost melting into any eye cream you might be wearing without any touch. Made my eyes sting as I removed it too. I've used tubing mascaras for years now and this is the weakest I've had. Elf or Clinique are both lots better.

I was struggling to find my other mascara so this being hypo allergenic, same brand etc I thought I would give it a go. Sadly after persevering for a couple of weeks I gave up. I had watery eyes from day 1, the mascara kept clumping and just did not do for me what it advertised.

I was really disappointed with this mascara, the wand was nice so expected it to blind on and leave beautiful results but I got complete opposite, clumpy and leaves really bad black under the eyes so it's just not drying at all. I will not purchase ever again an won't be recommending to anyone. I wish I still had this so I could upload photos but went in the bin. Also NO I didn't add too much or keep coating them I tried few times aswell but each time was the same clumpy wet results!!

I bought this because the info says it's 24hr smudge resistant. It most definitely is not. Bad smudges on eye lids and under eye within 2 hours (that's when I noticed so probably earlier) A complete waste of money.

I LOVE this mascara!! For sure it’s not for you if you are looking for a subtle look. I personally like extra black, thick lashes, and this mascara is exactly what i was looking for

I have struggled for years to find a mascara that I am not allergic to. Cost me a fortune only for me to give them away. This Paris Air Volume is a nice mascara and it doesn't drive me crazy. At last.

I had no issues applying or with clumping. However, I found my eyes to be stinging after about 7 hours of wear -I have not had this problem before with any mascaras (I have used other L'Oreal ones) so sadly this product was not for me :(

This mascara clumps and does not extend your lashes, they look so short after applying.
The only way it can be used is if you wipe off most of mascara from the wand before applying bit even then this doesn't redeem it!
I can't see why anyone would give it 5 stars unless they are getting paid to do so, also found the smell too flowery and it lingers for ages after applying.
Very disappointed, definitely didn't live up too the hype.

I usually read reviews before purchasing but didn’t with this mascara. Once I’d bought it, the awful reviews here made me think to not even bother opening it and just bin it. So glad I didn’t! It gives lovely, fluttery, defined lashes with just one application. Agree about the smell, same with all L’Oréal mascaras but fades quickly. There is quite a bit of product on the brush but nothing a quick wipe of the end of the wand sorts out. I would definitely buy this again, I’ve not had any issues with the mascara running or not drying properly, even after dog walks in the rain.

This mascara was the worst purchase I’ve all my life. I soo regretted it especially knowing I bought not 1 but 2! It clumps together and there’s too much product. Your eyes look a mess using this. Awful’

I've tried a lot of mascaras and am always experimenting but this is one I come back to a lot. The volume is amazing and it doesn't clump my lashes or separate them too much to look thin. It's really easy to work with and it doesn't smudge or flake

Terrible - Don't Waste Your Money

There's nothing wrong with the wand but when you pull it out to apply the product the top of the tube is too wide, so the product saturates the wand making it impossible to apply properly. As I no longer have the receipt I can't return it, so have resorted to a DIY method of trying to scrape the product off the wand back into the top of the tube. This is time consuming and fiddly and even then, it's difficult to apply without clumping or smudging.
Very disappointing effort from L'Oreal, I would NOT recommend this product.

I’m surprised there are good reviews of this. It’s very wet, clumps on my lashes, sticks them together. They look a mess. Then my partner keeps saying ‘you’ve got black around your eyes’. Awful. Save your money as I wasted mine on this rubbish mascara. How can a big name produce such a poor product?

Usually use the L'Oreal Lash Paradise mascara so decided to give this a try instead. Found it really wet and left me with volume less and clumpy lashes- does not look flattering at all. Tried to give it a chance and kept using it 3/4 times to see if the product would dry out and get better but its still awful- AVOID! going straight in bin

I don’t like water proof mascara so was really pleased when I saw L’Oréal had a smudge proof one. (Previous I used another brand and it is no longer available) This mascara is clumpy, doesn’t go on well and doesn’t stay in place whilst exercising etc, whereas the previous mascara I could wear swimming no problem. Disappointed as I love L’Oréal products

I bought this mascara because I wanted one that gave my lashes more volume but it’s so clumpy that I have to use a spare wand to try and untangle and ‘de- clump’ my lashes! Very disappointed as these mascaras aren’t particularly cheap

Worse mascara ever

Like most of the poor people that bought and then reviewed this gunge of a mascara. I wish that I hadn't wasted my money. I have been using mascara for over 30 years and love trying new products . This was by far the absolute worse mascara I have bought.
A warning description --- thick , clumpy, the brush is so thick with this gunge as you draw from the tube that it is impossible to apply.
I phoned L'Oréal and the customer service lady asked me to return the product to them with proof of date and store where I bought also copy of the barcode . As I had neither, I just binned it.
If you , like me , were influenced by the advert, please don't buy . There are s lot of much better quality and value mascaras out there.

I rarely write reviews but I was inspired to by how utterly dreadful this mascara is. Overpowering smell, no lift or hold whatsoever, and simply does not dry. Tried it yesterday for the first time and within 5 minutes it was all over my face, and by the end of the day my lashes were pretty much pointing downwards. It’s everything I do not want in a mascara. I’ll be asking for a refund.

I was expecting a lot more from this mascara as other L'Oreal ones have worked well for me. It says it is supposed to be volumising but for me it is the complete opposite for some reason. It does give some definition to my lashes, but even after two coats you can barely tell I have mascara on! It also kind of brings my lashes together, making it look like there aren't as many. Not good.

Mascara has a nice portion inside. The brush is quite soft, so I have to apply a few coats. The liquid is a good black but quite runny so be careful blinking too hard when you first put it on. Good coverage but build up on wand can get in the eyes if not too careful ;-) a good middle ground mascara that you can build up for different looks
