Product Details

L’Oreal Paris Perfect Slim Eyeliner is our most precise felt liquid eyeliner with intense colour payoff. In one steady stroke, Perfect Slim enhances the shape of the eye with its 0.4mm tip. Providing stylish and intense sweeping lines, this accurate liner give optimum control thanks to its grip zone hold. This makes it the perfect eyeliner for a winged look, an eye flick or any statement lines.

Usage

Apply the eyeliner pen tip as close to the lash line as possible starting at the inner corner of the eye. With small gentle strokes draw out from the inner corner of the eye applying more pressure as you move towards the outer corner of the eye, this will create a thicker, bolder line. The ultra-fine applicator draws a super precise line that delivers a thin, smooth and clean line close to the lashes.

The tip of this eyeliner is great and very precise. BUT it's not waterproof at all, not only I can remove it with water but also just passing my finger on it. Doesn't last at all and I have to bring it with me just in case I accidentally touch my eyes.

First time I have bought this about a month ago. Used it once and it was ok and stayed on for most of the day, but the second time I tried to use it the tip was dry. I gave it a good shake but nothing. Had to bin it which is a total waste of money. Would not purchase again.

Used it for years, you need a bit of practice but once you get used to it, it is amazing! This one is actually the only one that doesnt dry after a few applications so I do think its weird seeing so many reviews that say this?! Tried so many, including fenti and kvd that needs shaking and waiting and maybe the tip will eventually work, but keep coming back to this one as I love the precision, the tip doesnt dry,mine at least never did and can get the desired look in no time. would be nice it would have a matte option as well but still best of so far

Very disappointed with this eye liner! It was practically dried out after just a few applications! I usually buy Eyeko eyeliner which is twice the price but after trying this cheaper one, on balance it’s not worth wasting your money on.

Had seen this recommended in a magazine and I have been really happy with my purchase. I chose the brown option which gives a softer look than black. The pen is easy to use gives a precise line which stays in place and no smudging. Will buy again.

This is an amazing eyeliner! It’s so easy to put on (I am so bad at makeup but can almost wing this!) it stays put all day, you would have to really rub it to smudge it! Yet it comes off easily at the end of the day. I store mine upright, tip down, in my brush pot and it has lasted way longer than I care to admit!!! I’ve bought gel liners that dry up straight away, pencils that are too hard to put on or smudge too easily. I’m sticking with my Superliner from now on!

You have to really push it down to click it on, and if you forget and don’t push it down all the way, it dries up. The cap also seems to come loose on its own. Very frustrating because it runs out more quickly than it should.

I've tried many brands such as Kat Von D, Urban Decay Perversion, Charlotte Tilbury but nothing beats this loreal perfect slim eyeliner! I do a wing liner every day when I go out. This eyeliner is very easy to control due to a slim pen and a felt tip. It's not like the dipping brushes. It's like you're drawing with a pen with full control. You can easily make your liner thick or thin. The finish of this liner isn't shiny. It's a completely natural looking matte finish and I love it! It's also very long lasting. My skin is oily so sometimes when it's very very hot the outer wing tail may be easily smudgable but on a normal day it isn't. I set my eyelids with a little bit of loose powder/eyeshadow and it's perfectly fine. One eyeliner lasts me a good 8-10 months baring in mind I use it every day. It's an amazing eyeliner and the only cons is I wish it had a waterproof version. The reason I say that is I have hayfever and when I get runny eyes then the inner corner fades away as constantly water would be coming out of my eyes which is as expected as it's not waterproof. But I don't get that every day. Only during hayfever in the summer. So what I usually do then is I do my eyeliner as usual using the loreal perfect slim and then go over the inner corner with a waterproof one. I use an old perverserion waterproof urban decay for that but I don't like the urban decay eyeliner :( Just make a waterproof versio. And I will be even happier :D

The only issue I have with this eyeliner is that it dries up after a while, but that’s probably because I use it every day. Overall the best eyeliner I’ve used

The fine line is ideal if you want to do the inner eye corners or a very natural day to day look that no one will notice. However this tends to smudge and wear off over the course of the day. So it’s not the best performing eyeliner product I’ve tried, and may not last all day if you have oily eyelids. I still wear it for when I will be out for a short while as it goes on nicely.

I used to wear eyeliner all the time before that, but I never used the felt tip liner form so I was a little dubious. My friend recommended it to me and I really love it. I've repurchased it since and the only thing I would say is bear with it at first when it is new as it is harder to use. It's a little better when it's dried out a tiny bit, preventing blotchy eye liner! It doesn't claim to be super long lasting but it's always lasted all day for me which is a great bonus.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Desdemona from Quality for great price Stays on for long, it lasts for ages and have proper black colour (not like some almost black or kind of looking like watered down). Good for fine lines, the tip is quite flexible to work with and makes even edges. One slight downfall is that after some time it's getting harder to get the tip soak up enough liquid to draw with so before using it I have to press it against some flat surface and piece of paper to get the paint. Also after a while it gets less accurate and lines can get uneven because the tip's looking it's smooth texture.

As well as a decent pigment, I just want it to be relatively smudge proof. I like a top lid cat eye flick but do not suit the all over smudgy panda eye look at all. I'm happy to use ten lots of remover every night if I can just have an eyeline that stays put. I tried this liner, and didn't go out in rain or even vaguely humid atmosphere, did not work out or exercise even lightly and was in a cold environment. Six hours later I had full-on panda eyes. The weird bit? After face wipes, micellar water and toner the stuff was still on - and I used industrial eye make-up remover. The stuff wont stay put.... but wont come off. Tried it a couple more times and I cannot get my head around this liner. Lovely black pigment, but just an impossible product! Awful.
