I love these root concealers, they work so well for those tricky inbetween highlight stages of your hair journey. My only concern is how accurate the colour is to the box, meaning you\'d potentialy have to buy a couple. works very well and is a good inbetween.

bought the blonde root concealer to touch up roots in between hair appointments, but this came out light brown for me and not blonde.

Despite following instructions and leaving on for the extra 5 minutes, this did not colour my roots at all. Very disappointed with product and with the response from the customer care team when I told them this.

I prefer this root touch up to an all over colour. I have very fine hair & it covers my scalp really well & the colour is good for me & covers my grey/ white hair.

I like this product. I like the idea and design of the package. So many times i was in situation when i need to dye my roots but i need to use all pack of product. Now i can use as much as i need just to colour my toots. Very easy to mix in small battle. Very easy to change head from nose to brush. And easy to apply. For me only minus was little bit itchy scalp during the procedure. Will buy again and give this product one more chance.

I picked this as my normal hairdresser appointment needed to be changed last minute, luckily the shade was a near perfect match and left my hair feeling in lovely condition and not like straw. Easy to apply and doesn't smell too strongly.

Care for my hair

Excellent product to care for my hair as my roots always look awful due to being blonde. So to have a product that can save me damaging my hair by colouring all of it when only roots need doing is brilliant. It blended in exceptionally well which I admit I doubted. My hair felt great and looked amazing too. Well worth having in between colour treatments.

This is very easy to apply and a quick solution for blending out your roots between salon or home colouring. I found it covered my grey hairs well and disguised the centre parting badger look effectively.

As it was 5 weeks since my hair had been coloured, my grey/silver roots had just started showing through. The Magic Retouch was easy to apply directly to dry, unwashed hair with the soft brush applicator and after just 10 minutes there wasn't a trace of grey left.

Does exactly what it should

Used this product when I couldn’t get an appointment when I needed it and was amazed at the results. Grey roots gone and it lasted for a month. Will certainly consider using this and visiting my hairdresser less often in future. Great product worth the money.

A great product to use if you have small areas of grey. I only got to try this once as I put my hair back to brunette but will be purchasing it in the brown shade to give that a go. Easy to use I found and looked fairly natural too.

This is also a very handy product when you have little time to touch up your roots. Also handy when you you don’t want to do a full colour. It’s really easy to use and goes on so quickly saves loads of time! Didn’t quite match my colour but it’s really good for touching up the roots.

Absolutely loving this product fabulous for those in between times ! Those that are used to doing your own hair will be familiar with using the tip but being able to to use the brush attachment is just brilliant less mess so easy to use ! Just wish it wasn’t for grey hair only !

Such a great product to cover up those unwanted grey roots between colouring. Easy to use and lasts ages. Only thing I would say, when applying this to the front of your hairline, cover your face or shield it with your hand so that you don’t end up with it on your face. Water resistant too, doesn’t run in the rain.

Great for in between dye sessions

I've used a few other products in the L'oréal Magic retouch line but this was my first time using the Magic retouch permanent product. Unlike the temporary sprays, this one comes with an applicator brush that you can attach to the bottle for a more thorough and precise application. You only get one usage out of the bottle but its more than enough to cover those pesky roots. It claims to last up to 4 weeks but I'm only 2 weeks in so I cannot say, but so far, so good. The product comes with instructions which are easy to follow and the application is completely mess free. Definitely recommend for those who want a quick fix to root regrowth.

As long as you get the right shade for your hair colour then you are winning at life.
I suggest using the non permanent version to match the shade to your hair colour first & then you will see that this product is amazing especially if you can’t get to a hairdressers for whatever reason then this is all you need.
