Color oxidized before I used it

This is the second time the product was found to not be stable. There should be an expiration date. Last time it was all the same lot number, this time it was theee different lot numbers. Should have know when the application color seemed ofd

I bought two of the magic retouch permanent product, in brown, the idea is really good, and it's much cleaner and easier that the L'oreal permanent Hair dye normal box, but I'm afraid it doesn't last that long as it says in the box, after a week, the color fades and it looks like I need to do that again. So I used the second box, this time, just to make sure that I did not miss any steps, and again after a week, I could see my roots again, so until the formula of this product is improved, I won't buy it again, I will carry one using L'Oréal Magic Retouch Instant Root Concealer Spray, thanks

Just went out and bought this hoping to cover my roots until my hair appointment ...followed all instructions..Still have grey roots ...I might as well put the money down the drain...10.00 for nothing...don't waste your hard earned money as it does not work....so dissatisfied

Doesn’t work

I’ve now done 2 applications of this a week apart and it simply does not work. Greys very much still visable. Followed the instructions and even left on longer the second application. Quite disappointing really

Note quick and easy to apply, there also wasn't enough to cover all of my roots. It stains your skin like crazy, id barely washed the staining from my skin when my roots started to lighten again. Massively overpriced, I can get 2 full boxes of dye for the same price

Its a really easy way to touch up your roots - the applicator is easy to use. The applicator allows you to use it exactly where its required so there's no mess. It’s the perfect size and gives you hardly any waste which is great.

Not quite what I expected

I was really looking forward to this one as I've used the sprays a lot and thought it was similar but like a marker pen. However, it's not easy and quick to apply, it's actually more like a small bottle of hair dye with a comb applicator. It's not a quick apply and go, you have to put it on wait wash and dry.

Strong chemical smell that lingers in hair. I know the colour is black but it was a very harsh black. Makes hair very dry and not easy to manage like usual hair colours. Very disappointed, make sure you cover clothing and bedding as it stains things very easily even when was out of hair it left marks on pillowscases. Was awful to use 😕

A handy little root rich up

A really easy way to touch up your roots. The applicator is so handy, easy to use I think it would be perfect for a newbie to colouring your roots. The colour was really good. It’s the perfect size and gives you hardly any waste which is great.

I already use the temporary root spray which is extremely good at hiding my grey and natural roots and blending in completely with my choice of hair colourant. So, I was eager to try this permanent retouch too. It's very easy to mix. The applicator allows you to use it exactly where its required so there's no mess. the waiting time is short and it covers up all my grey roots. I only did it a week ago, so I can't as yet agree with the details on the box that says it will last for 4 weeks. However, L'Oreal never make false claims , so I'm convinced it'll see me through as advised.
And it is a great product ! And I can thoroughly recommend it. But for simple ease, I shall still continue to use the L'Oreal Magic Touch spray. So please, please, L'Oreal don't discontinue it !!!

Great for those odd grey hairs

This is a good product when you may be going out and want to retouch noticeable greys. It’s very simple you mix the developer and colour together in the bottle and apply to the roots. The comb applicator is a really nice touch and helps spread the colour evenly however it is not enough to touch up all the greys on your on your head.

Perfect cover

I used it on my mom’s hair that are dark and thin and it had the most wonderful look! It covered the roots perfectly it didn’t transfer on cloths and looked really natural. Smells very pleasant and it doesn’t dry your hair. It extended my mom’s hair colour appointment for a week!

Just shake the can and spray on your roots, its blends beautifully. it dries quickly and doesn't wash out until you shampoo it. It's very easy to use. I'd recommend it. It covers up any grey patches. Good to use if it's just a small bit of grey showing through.

Great in between colour

Great hair dye for an in between whole head colour. So easy to use and quick processing time this is perfect for covering those pesky grey hairs. Dye covered well and left hair moisturised. Would definitely recommend.

Good root dye

I have used the spray from the same range to cover my roots and it is a very good product. This root dye is the next step. It is only a small bottle as it's just for roots so there's no waste, it is easy to use and apply. There is a brush and the normal applicator, and both are good. The dye went on well.

Handy packet/great precision application

Great packaging and a good, handy product. Admittedly I can only comment on application and 1st thoughts at this stage as haven’t had it in long enough to feedback re: how long lasting it is but hoping I’ll be pleased with the results. The application is quick and easy to do anD I like not having to wait too long for the magic to happen!

This is fantastic for when you don’t have the time or energy to do your roots. Easy to use and lasts so well! Especially good for short hair when you don’t want to open a new box of dye. A great little secret!

hides greys well with the colour and can barely notice greys even though its not full coverage. also does not dry up so when you touch your hair, i get black marks on my hand. if i lie down on my pillow, it leaves marks so best to use when not doing either of those things or before a wash
