Elnett Elnett Heat Protect Spray Volume

The product isnt bad itself but there isnt much of diffrence of my hair now and before I started using this product. Also, I dot know if this happens to everyone but the spray won't spray properly sometimes it just drips down with the liquid, that is really annoying.

This product is great and basically does what it says it will. I had been having problems with frizzy ends on my hair for daily over styling (curling irons) and this has made a dramatic difference to the look and feel of my hair. Gone are the crisps ends and my hair feels smoother and silkier. The added bonus.....this stuff smells AMAZING!! Love it!

pretty good made my hair more shiny and make more volume . but picked up the wrong thing . this product dose do what it says but only lasts for two days .

I have short, thin and highlighted hair. I need to protect my already abused hair so I was hoping this product will fit the bill. Maybe it protects from heat as it should but L'Oreal claims Elnett Satin will leave my hair 'shine and soft like satin'. It didn't. I found myself struggling to run the brush through my hair when styling, it left my hair dull, matt and ...a mess! Waste of money.

It took a couple of test drives with this product to obtain fantastic results. It would seem to give my seriously thin, wavy, puny hair that's greasy at the roots and fly away on the ends, some real 'guts' rather than big volume. This enabled me to go for two whole days without having to wash it and my hair stayed quite straight, which is a god send! By reading other reviews this spray would appear to work best on very fine fragile hair that gets greasy quickly on the roots, and you require a sleek, straight style using hair straightners.

I have fine, fragile hair that tends to become greasy after a couple days. After using this product I find the volume is great, it doesn't weigh the hair down at all and I can get away with not washing it so often ~ so for me its a great product. I like the fact that its also protecting when I use straighteners after blow drying to achieve the style I like. I recommend this highly.

I love Elnett so it pains me deeply to write this review. Having used their hairspray for the last 20 years, I was eager to try their heatspray. What a let down. Don't get me wrong, the packaging is great, trigger spray with lock is great, the volume it gives is great and the familiar Elnett scent is again great. However, and this is were it all falls apart for me, the product itself makes my hair sooooooo dry, and the ends just feel disgusting. I have tried it on four separate occasions now, and each time I have had the same result. Never, ever, have I had this happen with any other heatspray. My hair is in really good condition too, I do look after it with regular deep conditioner treatments.( I have fine hair for reference) Unfortunately, this is product is just not for me, but will pass it onto a family member to see if it works for them instead.

For reference, I have fine, very greasy hair. I have to wash it once a day as by the morning it looks like it hasn't been washed for days, so I have to use lightweight products in my hair as I find most things weigh it down and make it lank and greasy. I normally use Umberto Gianni heat protection mist which is incredible but for some reason Boots have stopped selling it, so I went out and bought this. Though I've never been a fan of Elnette hairspray it's so highly regarded I thought I'd give this a go. I chose volume as my hair generally stays straight anyway and I rarely wear it curly, I also thought anything promising to keep my hair straight for 3 days would indeed weigh it down, but volumising products are generally lightweight. It did volumise my hair a bit but it didn't last very long, but it DID protect my hair from damage without making it sticky or greasy which is great. I would say the Umberto Gianni weighs the hair down less but it's not a deal breaker. Works much better than others I've tried! wouldn't really expect much volumising from a heat spray anyway. The price is average I'd say for heat protection, it's a bit pricey but it's no more expensive than most I think, and the appearance of the spray bottle is really nice. The nozzle of the spray bottle great, it covers hair evenly and has a lock so it won't spray by accident. The smell is O.K, not as nice as the Umberto Gianni, but I don't dislike it. I would repurchase!

Product looks really great and was easy to apply but there was no positive difference to the appearance of my hair. In fact, after blow-drying my hair with the product as instructed it appeared more flyaway and flatter which was obviously opposite to what had been suggested!! I don't know if it's just my hair type but I will certainly not be using this again.

I have been using Elnett hairspray for some time now as I think it's the best & was pleased to find this new in the Elnett range. Only used it just this weekend. Just spray onto towel-dried hair & comb through and style as usual. I have a quite short style & I blow dry it using a barrel brush. This really works and leaves hair soft but not floppy! It adds volume without leaving a somewhat sticky residue which I have found with other brands that do the same thing. I tried it today (Monday) on dry hair to revive style & it worked. I would buy this again!

I bought this earlier today and I have seen a massive massive difference to my hair. The volume is excellent, and hair is left super super soft. Finally, a product that actually works.
