Usage
Remove the security tab and spray hair with Elnett in short bursts from about 30cm away. In case of clogging, rinse nozzle under warm water.

I have used this product for some years now and am more than happy with it. It gives great hold and people have commented on the shine. I have to admit that with my hair, it does not brush out like it intimates but leaves a build up the more you use it, even after brushing it out. I therefore use a shampoo that gently removes build up of products. Having said that, I am still happily using this hair spray. I can use it with confidence that it will hold my style without looking stiff.

Great spray but no shine for me

Have used Elnett for years as I really do think that it is the best hairspray on the market. I was very eager to try this as I hoped that it would double up as a shine spray but whilst I was happy with the performance overall, I sadly did not notice any change as far as glossy locks were concerned. Would still buy again though.

While I don't like the smell I do like the ease of use (the mist is so fine, easy to use and really does brush out effortlessly!). The hold is OK but more impressive is the satin-like shine it gives my hair. The overall effect is very natural looking - even after repeat applications. I'm very pleased with it.

The hold is fine like any other hairspray, but the smell is just revolting. If you want to smell all day like cat wee, than this hairpray is for you, otherwise avoid. I have used it twice and both times my hubby asked what was the horrible smell that was lingering in the dressing room. Binned it.

I've always used Elnett hairspray as it always seems to be the best one out there and a well deserved classic.
I found this new formula equally as good as the last one. I love the new fragrance to this one.
The hold is great and lasts all day. It made my hair appear shiny too.
Seems quite expensive but I think its really worth paying a little extra for such a great product. The can lasts for a long time too.

This smells really strange, like musky baby powder-certainly not what you would want your hair to smell like. I found that it didn't hold my style in place, although it did brush out easily. However, I used it at my prom and it made my hair ridiculously tangled so I was not impressed.

I do like the L'Oreal hairsprays but this doesn't massivly stand out from the rest for me. It's a slightly subtler fragrence (but still lovely) and does hold well but it wouldn't hold in my hair for 24 hours, would need a top up.
If you're looking for a super fine hair spray this is the one for you - it doesn't leave hair sticky or matted.

This hairspray makes a pleasant change. It's scent is much fainter than the standard one, which makes it much nicer to use. The spray is superfine and therefore dosn't weigh down your hair. I like the idea that it gives your hair a shimmer though I can't tell if it really did. It brushes out very easily. Overall very pleased.

It's a big claim to hold your style for 24 hours.. it really doesn't!
It does give you a nice shimmer to your hair and some hold. It has the classic Elnett perfume which is over powering. It brushes out easily as they say.
I would use it to give shine but not hold. Maybe my hair is strong but by lunch time it was gone.

Fantastic product.
Hold hair really well even in complexed or delicate styles.
Obviously easy to use with no problems.
I really liked the fact that even though it did its job id dint make my hair feel sticky or hard. Was very easy to bursh out a the end of the night.

This is an amazing product. I never used to use Elnett because I didn't like the smell, but that seems to have changed. The scent is much nicer. I have used this hairspray for up do's and just normal. I great an amazing hold when I make my hair curly too. I don't know how I managed without this. My curls used to fall out after a few hours with my usual hairspray from the salon. Now my curls last up to 3 days. Fab! It's not just the hold either. This hairspray gives your hair a beautiful shine. I definitely think I'm worth it!

This Elnett Supreme Hold Lumiere Hairspray surpasses other brands I have used; it does not give a rigid 'helmet' effect but gives a long lasting hold with a softer more natural appearance. My fine, dry hair was left with a soft, attractive sheen that looked natural. I also appreciated the scent that was more pleasant than a lot of the cheaper brands I have used previously.

I have been using The L'Oreal Elnett Satin Lumiere Hairspray for over a month to give it a reasonable time to review.
It has not failed me on any occasion, gives superb hold every time and does brush out as easily as it is claimed.
It doesnt coat the hair or leave the hair heavy or sticky.
My only gripes would be the price, it is rather expensive and the fragrance is somewhat overwhelming.

Whether i would style my hair for an occasion of just for the office this is great. The fine mist allows me to concentrate on either individual sections or just to finish the whole style. It really did hold and to be able to brush it out if it wasn;t quite right is great. If i applied more after it didn't build up and become all clumpy. It didn't tend to stand a night dancing but i suppose if i had had a handbag size that i could have taken with me that would have been great. The smell was not at all over powering and didn;t clah with my perfume.

Hold without the crunchiness

I am not a regular user of hairspray, but now I'll be making more use of it after trying Elnett Satin Lumiere. I have always been put off by the crunchy, hard finish that other brands do to my hair. Worse still, the powdery effect when I'd try to brush it out. I had no problems at all with Elnett. I have quite frizzy and wiry hair and Elnett has been perfect for holding the wispy bits of hair flat around my temples, when I want to go for a slick finish. Brushing the hairspray out at the end of the evening is quick and easy too. I'm now a hairspray fan again!

I haven't used hairspray for YEARS! I used to spray my hair to within an inch of it's life, making an almost waterproof layer on my hair which took ages to wash out - brushing wasn't an option!
However, this is just lovely. It has a really fine mist which holds hair without making it sticky and I am just addicted to the smell, I would spray this on just for the scent, I keep getting a waft of it all day. I don't think it would be any good to hold a style firmly in place all day, but I don't need that, I just like the soft sheen it leaves.
