S'il vous plaît, ramenez l'ancien parfum, j'adore vos produits, le changement de parfum ne fait rien pour le système olfactif. Comme un bon repas, le sens contribue à 50 % du plaisir et tout comme les choses que nous appliquons à notre corps, il a le même effet qu'il vous donne envie de plus ou de moins. Soit cela vous laisse satisfait, soit non. Je suggérerais de ramener l'ancien parfum car pour vos clients, c'était un gros argument de vente. Je suis vraiment désolé de devoir vous le faire savoir. J'espère que vous écouterez votre clientèle.

Perfect match

I love this product line always have and always will it works so well I use the matching power conditioner I can feel it working sooo smooth and I love the new smell even more then original scent I can't get enough I always come back to it as nothing else works as well and the colour of my hair lasts much longer with this (Beautiful) hope this will always be sold.

Changed ingredients for worse

Absolutely horrible! I’m using this shampoo for 20years and they’ve changed ingredients in it! The smell is awful and whatever rubbish they put in it, is burning my skin, my face is on fire after rinsing and hair are more dry. I will never buy this shampoo again! Very very disappointed now! Why changing something that worked very well for so many years?! There is also ridiculous high price now!!

Limp dull hair !

Awful , I thought it was my just my hair until I saw these reviews. My hair has looked dull & limp since they have obviously changed the formula. Will now be looking for an alternative. Such a shame , I have been using this for years . Please change it back !

Unimpressed with new formulation

I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for years but the new formulation isn't great, my hair doesn't feel as nice after washing now and my colour doesn't stay in as long anymore. Unless formulation goes back to including red peony I will not be buying anymore.

Good if you want hair that looks greasy and flat

Used to be great - I've been using for over 2 decades, even although I did not colour my hair. It added shine and volume. Sadly the formulation has changed, and I end up with limp, greasy hair after washing, conditioning and drying. I need to wash my hair much more often now. I'm going to buy an alternative product after I finish the bottle I have. It was giod for years, but now it is rubbish.

The new smell is disgusting: sickly sweet and overwhelming, stays on the hair after the wash. This is just too much. The shampoo itself got slightly worse, doesn't make my hair amazing any more. Such a shame I've purchase a big bottle. Will look for alternative, probably scent free - now I have this feeling like "any other shampoo could have same sickening smell, how would I kow buying online".

Smell is awful and very strong frankly quite off putting. It is like washing hair in a perfume. It also doesn't do very much for my oily hair it looks oily and dull by the end of day one, I can usually go for 2 to 3 days between washes. Hair colour seems to last i have used this for 3 weeks now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by annoyedtohell from Formula Change Disaster Now, one of the worst shampoos on the market They are actually putting SLS in the conditioner (which is a detergent) which will strip your hair of moisture and cause it to produce more oil, hence the feeling of greasy hair. They have also removed the coconut oil from it as well nad pumped a load of glycerin into it. It's making my hair hard to style and leaving it greasy by the end of the day. I used it for 20 plus years, but never again. I've tried numerous alternatives, and most of them are better than L'oreal, but still not the same. I'm sure the formula change is a cost cutting exercise by some pen pusher with a calculator.

This may be down to the inclusion of Sodium Laureth Sulfate as a main ingredient. This sulphate actually is damaging to coloured hair, so i don't now why they are now including it.

Now my hair is greasy immediately after washing, it’s irritated my scalp and it smells artificial. If the prices had gone up to produce I would have paid more! I’ve now thrown out 5 bottles as even my husband won’t use it. Honestly I’m upset, after 7 years using every day I now cannot find anything of similar quality.

Now, the nice scent is gone and my hair feels greasy the next day. I can barely leave it two days before it desperately needs a wash again! It leaves it coated and feels heavy. Why change the formula? Everyone loved the previous one, a classic example of why change something if it isn't broken. Honestly, the new formula could not be worse. BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA!

Both had a beautiful fragrance and left my hair soft and shiny. The changed products are unusable. The fragrances are overpowering and smell cheap but the worst aspect is how greasy and coated they leave the hair. Such a shame to have a brilliant product ruined. Cannot buy it again unless the old formulas are restored.

I have bleached and dyed straight hair and the new formula works very well for me, I can't see much difference between this and the old version; it makes my hair very soft and feels clean yet not dry at all.

My hair seems to get limp and lank very quickly, and the scalp never stops itching. Why do manufacturers constantly feel the need to reinvent the wheel? If you have a successful product, leave it as it is. The other issue, for me, is the scent. This used to be really lovely, but now the new scent would be more at home in a man's aftershave lotion! Very disappointed.

It's totally unclear to me and to thousands of your customers, why you ruined the perfect formula that has worked for hundred thousands of women globally for years. The new formulation is in simple words horrible: the scent stinks, the shampoo makes your scalp itch (allergic reaction), the hair stays greasy and heavy, and there's absolutely nothing about the "new formula" that is innovative or positive at all. I've read hundreds of threads with the same complaints world-wide. Please consider throwing out your "new formula" even if it saves you money, and return to your original formula that was the perfect shampoo that I always recommended to my friends and my followers.

Old one resulted in soft, bouncy hair; new one results in lank, limp hair. Really disappointed. Also very disappointed that L'Oreal don't ever publicly respond to the comments that so many of us loyal customers are making about the new product.

I have been using this L’Oréal elvive colour protect shampoo and conditioner,for years, my colour is coming out quicker and the smell is awful, will not be buying again, they never even put on the bottle that it has changed which is even more annoying.

Compared to the original smell, which reminded me of apples, this new fragrance has a chemical smell. I'm looking to change to something else because it's so unpleasant, which is a shame as I've been using it for years.

After using both the shampoo and conditioner for many years with entirely happy results, suddenly things seem to have gone badly wrong. What on earth have the manufacturers done with my favourite product? The beautiful light fragrance has been replaced by an overwhelming and quite offensive, cloying scent . The consistency of the products has also altered and for some reason the formulae are no longer suitable for use my fine hair. What a dreadful disappointment! I have been a devoted customer for so many years. No longer.

I have dyed auburn hair which is notorious for colour fade so bought this to try, made the water run red every wash compared to other shampoos I have used that are not even colour protecting ones. Maybe good if you’ve dyed your hair and it’s gone to dark and you want to strip the colour!

Sorry but I much prefer the original .

I have used both products for absolutely years & like others, have had compliments on how healthy my hair has looked. I don't object to the new smell but what it has done to my hair! Oh my god, it is awful!! After drying, my hair has no shine, a horrible texture & looks like it needs washing again already. On buying another color shampoo & conditioner recommended by my hairdresser I cannot believe the difference. Another customer they have lost. Why mess with something that was so good. Crazy!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Laura from TERRIBLE NEW FORMULA I have been a loyal user of L’Oréal Elvive Colour Protect Shampoo for years, and I have always loved how it made my hair look and feel. The old formula left my hair glossy, vibrant, and smelling amazing – I received so many compliments on how healthy and beautiful my hair was. However, the recent change in formula has completely ruined the product for me. The new version smells unpleasant, lacks the luxurious feel of the previous formula, and leaves my hair feeling dull and lifeless. I honestly can’t believe how much the product has changed, and it’s incredibly disappointing. After years of using this shampoo as my go-to, I’m sad to say I will no longer be purchasing it. It’s frustrating to see a product that worked so well for so long be changed for the worse. I really hope L’Oréal listens to their customers and brings back the original formula. Until then, I’ll be looking for an alternative – one that actually makes my hair look and smell as good as it used to.
