Read about this is a magazine and I was a bit sceptical but decided to give it a try. Well, it is simply a brilliant conditioner for semi-permanent coloured hair which is post-menopausal so rather on the dry side.

I’ve use this once a week and it keeps my hair so soft, I exercise a lot so wash my hair every day but my hair stays nice, conditioned and healthy for about 4/5 washes

I've gone back to this after a break of a year or so. Anything that helps preserve my colour while hair salons are shut is welcome. I have quite thick, dry hair and this leaves it feeling smooth and nourished.

I’ve been using the L’Oréal elvive shampoo and conditioner, for about 4 months. This jar is amazing for those who want silky smooth hair if it’s been kinda damaged with bleach. I’ve only bleached my hair once so not too sure how it would work for those who have more damaged hair. But for me it worked wonders, also smells really nice :)

Amazing mask. I use this once a week instead of a conditioner and leave in for around 5-10 minutes. It’s scent is extremely fresh and lingers in the hair for days. My hair is super smooth and hydrated since using, couldn’t complain.

I was a bit disapointed really, Did what it said it would made my hair super soft and shiny but I hted the smell. It was like a plastic smell didnt like it at all

My sister recently had her hair coloured & was unhappy how straw like it felt, so I bought her the L’Oreal Elvive colour protect shampoo, conditioner & the hair mask (it’s all I use) & she was amazed & so happy with the difference it made, hair is now soft & shiny. I use the hair mask once a week & other L’Oreal colour products daily, would use anything else.

I bought this product three weeks ago. It stripped my long hair of some of its tinted colour and i found some of my hair in clumps near the sink hole when i rinsed it out.

I used this in conjunction with the leave in conditioner and miracle oil. The scent is lovely and clean, doesn't clash with your perfume. Initially I was dubious as I expect masques to be thick, heavy and creamy. This was lightweight and gel-like, due to the linseed in it and actually performed far better than the usual ones. This formula seemed to be absorbed into my hair easily, rinsed out well and left vibrant colour and swishing hair. Will be buying again!

Purchased for beach holiday which means dry, salty, sun attacked hair! Used twice a week as mask and each day as a rinse when showering out the day's sun, sea and sand plus that factor 50 sun lotion.

I have used L'Oréal Paris hair products before for my coloured hair, so I already had high hopes for this colour protect rinse out masque which I luckily received for free from L'Oréal Paris. The masque is in a large red rub which I preferred to my usual bottle. The top simply screws off and you are able to determine how much masque you want by using your hand. This is a nice feature as if you have too much it is easy to replace in the tub. The masque has a very pleasant smell and it was easy to rub into my hair. I left it in for two minutes and rinsed. My hair was left smelling nice and feeling smooth. I did find that my hair seemed a bit more fly away than normal but this did calm down a few hours later. One day later my hair definitely feels silky to touch and is shiny, due to this my colour seems more vibrant. Hopefully this masque will help my hair keep its colour for longer than normal.

When I first got the product I wasn't completely convinced if it will be right for my hair as it's dry and a bit damaged at the ends but can be quite greasy and flat at the roots at the same time. The mask turned out to be brilliant though! Right after first use, my hair felt soft and smooth and looked more radiant and shiny. It helped to enhance the colour and protect it for longer. I will definitely but it again!

I received my free Elvive Colour protect rice our masque a few weeks ago from L'Oréal Paris. I have used it a couple of times a week since then. I've had quite a few people at work comment on how shiny and healthy my hair looks and what have I been using. I only use a small amount and it leave my hair feeling so soft. I will be buying a new tub when this 1 runs out. Although it's lasting so long I don't think that will be for ages!

I received Elvive Colour Protect Rinse Out Masque for free from L'Oreal. I was excited to try this as I had recently coloured my hair and it wasn't looking in the best condition. I don't tend to use specific products to protect dyed hair, usually sticking to shampoo and conditioner, so I was interested to see what difference the Elvive Colour Protect Rinse Out Masque would make to my hair. When I received the product the packaging was OK and the tub was functional and easy to handle in the shower. I was surprised when I opened the product though as to the smell and colour of the masque. The mask is a very pink false colour and the smell is one of overly sugary, additive filled sweets which was a little off-putting. However I have used the masque a few times now and have found that my hair is soft and silky afterwards and the colour does seem a bit brighter. It also did not make my hair feel greasy as some conditioners do. The smell is not as strong once it has been washed out but it is still not a scent I am a fan of. Despite the fragrance I will use the product again as I think it did help improve the condition of my hair.

The first thing I did when I received this product was take the lid off to smell it. It smells so lush, and the masque is a pretty pink colour with a creamy texture that made me want to use it immediately! I have been using it once a week in place of my usual conditioner and leave it on my hair for 2-3 minutes as directed on the back of the tub. The tub is quite big so it will last a long time, and it's so easy to apply the masque. As soon as I apply it, my hair feels so soft and deeply conditioned, I love it. When my hair is dry I can really feel the difference it makes to my hair as it feels softer to touch and my frizz is greatly reduced. The colour I've used on my hair looks more radiant and brighter which my partner commented on! I am very grateful that I have been able to try out this Elvive Colour Protect Rinse Out Masque for free from L'Oreal Paris. It has made my hair really soft and shiny and there is no yellowness in my hair colour like sometimes happens after a few washes. It has a great smell, salon fresh without the expensive price tag. My only reservation is the packaging. I always wash my hair in the shower and it wasn't easy to take off the big pot lid and dip my wet dripping hand in to get the product. I've probably used more than I needed this way. Squeezing out a dollop from a tube would have been easier but it is a lovely looking pot. Thank you very much!
