The “extraordinary oil” mask has a technology in conjunction with the shampoo for the driest hair. The selection of luxurious flower oily extracts conditions. The mask helps bring more conditioning and shine to the dry tips.

Usage

For best results, use after Extraordinary Oil Shampoo. Squeeze out excess moisture and apply, concentrating on the lengths and ends. Leave in for 2-3 minutes. Rinses out easily.

In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately.

I have repurchased this twice - sadly on the third repurchase I’ve noticed a change in consistency. There’s either been an unnecessary change to it or I might have a dud batch. Although ingredients tell me otherwise :(

Having experienced a disastrous 'new formula' change with Elvive a year or two ago (and I know I wasn't alone), I promised myself that I wouldn't experiment with them again! But this offer from Boots changed my mind - and I have to say my hair hasn't felt so soft for a long time.

Smells amazing, makes my hair so soft, adds a healthy glow too! Perfect hair oil as it doesn't make hair greasy or heavy. This is one of the best hair products I have tried recently! 10/10 recommend

I cannot express how disappointed I was in this product. It is by far the worst hair product I have ever used. Tip: as soon as you see ‘multi-use’ on a hair product you know it is only going to be a fraction good at each of those things. But I don’t think it was even a fraction good. I thought I should give this product a go as most elvive products are amazing but this left my hair greasy do a whole week it was so greasy some people thought my hair was wet. It is sooooo bad. Please, please save your money it is awful!!!!

This mask has become one of my favourite beauty products. I have very long wavy hair that tends to get dry and frizzy and am always looking for a miracle solution to help keep it healthy. L'oreal Elvive mask is reasonably priced, yet performs as well as a high-end salon product. It has a pleasant scent and consistency, is easy to wash out and doesn't leave any residue. My hair feels silky, soft and exceptionally shiny. I am delighted with the results!

I bought this a couple of weeks ago - I have really long hair and do not cut it regularly. The ends are super dry and it gets frizzy quickly. I usually use leave in conditioner but saw this product and had to try. The mask is incredible - I usually keep it on for a couple of hours. It does dry and becomes pretty hard so I wouldn’t suggest using it if you want to go out and about. However, after washing it out my hair was noticeably shinier. The ends were smoother and softer and it stayed silky all day. As a leave in conditioner I only used a small amount and it kept it super shiny and sleek and that day I had more comments on the health of my hair than I have had for a while! Although I wouldn’t suggest using it as a conditioning mask (2-3 mins) as it doesn’t seem to be any better than a normal conditioner.

Made my dry hair a lot softer. This lockdown has meant I haven't had my hair cut for a long time so the ends have gone dry but this mask helped. Feels softer and more hydrated. Not fussed on the smell though so thats why I've taken a star off

I applied a generous amount to the length and left it overnight to get best result. Within half hour it dried and hardened and my hair hung like icicles. Not something you'd expect from oil based mask as they normally stay moist until you wash it off. After shampooing in the morning all the "magic"went down the drain and didn't leave my hair feeling soft or manageable so i still had to apply my routine conditioner. Would not recommend. Garnier hair food mask is million times better than this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bekareth from Saved from a bleaching disaster After being left with dry straw like hair from a bleaching mishap I needed something to get my hair back to normal. I left this on for a couple of hours then washed my hair as normal and my hair is as soft if not a bit softer than it was before. Definitely restores very dry hair. I imagine it would be a little heavy on fine hair but if your hair is in need of tlc then I would recommend it.

There is something truly relaxing about taking some time for self-care and after a busy week treating my hair to a deeply moisturising hit of goodness. Has left my hair looking strong and healthy and undone some of the damage I've caused over the week from styling and colouring.

I left it on my hair for about 10-15 minutes, it rinsed out easily and left my hair feeling deeply conditioned, but light and refreshed too. It has the most gorgeous tropical scent, which stays on your hair for ages.

I went through a period of using lots of colour and heat on my hair and have been trying to restore it and maintain healthier hair, and this is a great regimen for me. The products leave my hair conditioned and soft, while adding moisture and some definition to my curls.

I’d normally lose a lot of hair if I was to brush my hair without using the conditioner, so happy!

I wait a minute then comb through with a wide tooth comb thenleaveit another 2 minutes. It rinses out easily and quickly and I can tell right away that it's made my hair softer. Even after 4 days of straightening I have the hair I've always wanted.

It’s useful as an overnight treatment just left on dry hair and especially the ends. Then washed in the morning. Or just as a balm (only use a little bit) to smooth flyaway hairs that don’t sit flat.

This really did transform my hair from dry and course to soft and just wonderful to touch. When you're used to having hair that feels like straw if left unstyled, then that feeling of finally having hair that you can run your fingers through is just amazing! Definitely recommend as this will get a permanent place in my shower from now on! As an added bonus is smells delicious just like the other products in the line.

It brought my natural waves back without weighing it down, even when i left some in as a finishing balm and I could finally leave my hair to air dry. It smells so nice too, I could smell the coconut for about 2 days after each wash

I have used it as a pre wash balm, as a hair mask and as leave in conditioner (on ends). I’d say that for me it doesn’t quite work as a leave in conditioner as it feels heavy and greasy, but for other uses it’s great!! I prefer to use it with the oil shampoo too.
