Usage

Don't buying online if you aren't certain of shade

Couldn't get the Cool Blonde I usually buy which used to be the 102 colour so I got the colour 7 (new numbers) as I thought it would be similar to the Cool Blonde, but it isn't. Slightly ginger colour and I won't use it, a wasted buy.

This is the first time I've used this brow filler, I'm really pleased with it. You screw out the end pencil part and just lighting put your eyebrows back on. It's very controllable and nice and soft. Then blend in the colour with the brush on the other end, which is also nice a soft. Lovely and so quick and easy to use. I will definitely buy again.p

I found this easy to apply however the nib of the pencil did break and eventually fell out of the packaging making it impossible to use the rest of the product. This shade was a little too light for me but I blended it with power to do my brows and this worked well

But now the “pencil lead” has broken and I’m not able to twist it up or see how much pencil is left in the tube. Disappointing as it is now useless. I’m not sure how much pencil is actually in the tube to start with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by fati18 from Great product The colour match was perfect and the actual pencil pigmentation wasn’t too dark or too light, which is usually a common problem that I come across with eyebrow pencils.As for the brush, the bristles are strong and also help blend out the pencil so it doesn’t look to harsh.The only thing I would say is not to push to much of the pencil out as it snaps very easily but overall it’s a great eyebrow pencil and is easy to use.

The spoolie on the other end is another great convenience. The pencil has a nice formula that offers an easy application. The formula is long wearing so once I have filled in my brows I know they'll stay in place all day.

I did get the wrong shade for me however after getting on google i found a better matching colour. I will try again.

The applicator head is quite broad so I don’t feel like I can be too precise with it, like I can with the Skinny Definer. I have quite a few very fair hairs in my brows, so this does a good job of darkening them without making them too dark and generally evening out the tone of my brows. The colour stays on my brows pretty well, but I do feel like I might be working my way through this product very quickly. I like the brush at the other end of the applicator for getting my eyebrows into a good shape too.

The product did not stay in place all day it did need to be reapplied but the actual style made it really easy to apply. Would definitely try again but in the right shade.

The colour is perfect for me and the the tip of the pencil is easy to fill in the gap of my brow hairs. It's smooth and creamy texture but lasts all day. Also there’s a spoolie brush on the other side and easy to create natural blended brows.

The shape & thickness of the products nibs does indeed allow for precision when applying the product and the spoliey then softens the lines for a natural finish. As promised the product stayed put all day including with me getting very hot and sweaty. My brows did not feel crusty at all. However, I got the cool blonde colour but there is rather alot of red in it making it appear very warm on my skin. Although light it was still too warm for me. Even after I applied the L’oreal plump and set brow gel (in 101-blonde) it was still quite warm.

Unlike mascara and foundation it's not something that expensive and cheaper brands differ a lot in. As a brow pencil, this is fine. The pigment is not so intense that brows look unnatural and the shade range is quite diverse. The texture is smooth and blendable and it stays put all day, but then it's not a problem I've generally found with cheaper pencils. I prefer a thinner tip because I don't like my hairs covered in pencil too - it looks chalky. The brush at the end is fine. This is a four star product - it does everything it says but you could get a much cheaper product that does the same thing.

It is very easy to use and blends in effortlessly. I use the brush to brush my brows upward then fill in the gaps with the pencil and blend in, which leaves my brows looking thicker n fuller and really opens up your eyes. It lasted all day without any creasing or flaking etc and wiped away easily with my make up remover. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone.

The colour is a good match for me with ashy blonde hair and it doesn’t appear as muddy as L’Oréal’s older version of this. It applies easily and has good colour payoff without being over powering but I did find that it rubbed off easily with sweat and oil whilst I was on holiday, so it isn’t living up to its claims. I would prefer if the pencil nib was more like a fine pen as the triangle shape made larger strokes than I would like but it worked well for making clean lines round the brow line. Overall it wasn’t my favourite product for brows but it is great for days that I am in a hurry and just want a bit of colour and definition.

I have naturally dark brown hair but recently lightened it more and went ashier so while I still needed to fill in my brows, my old warmer darker brow pencils were looking a bit harsh. Made the “mistake” of testing the colour of my hand and it was still there hours later! The staying power and lack of smudge is perfect. There’s enough time to brush it through after application but it will set down after and stay in place all day. I’m used to other thinner pencils so appreciated the thickness of the body of this one as some days I’m in such a rush that makeup products will take the hit and I’ll be squeezing them so the sturdiness of this one is great.

Made my eyebrows thicker and fuller but they looked quite natural. No 8 is lovely cool shade with no hint of red. It really stayed on and didn't budge or smudge even in the heat. The colour is a bit warm for me however I do have really pale skin. The strokes stay defined and clear all day, until I come to remove my makeup. It creates a natural looking effect and I would use it again, just in a cooler colour.

The fact that the pencil is retractable is clever. The product glides on effortlessly and you can layer it to how much you would like to define your brows and with a wee brush of the brows afterwards your done. My brows have stayed define throught the whole day so it has long lasting effects.

It blends in the colour perfectly and can make brows as large or fine as you prefer, without them looking 'sluggish'! Just brush your brows first, colour them in, and brush again to blend and go! It blends nicely ready for a setting gel. It’s quite soft so not great for trying to do fine strokes if you wanted to but it’s good for giving overall definition and shape.
