Lovely colour protection shampoo

Lovely colour protection shampoo, it has good smell, makes my hair smooth and definitely feels that adds layer of protection. It is easier to style after that too. I think its good complementary when colouring my hair.

At 43 my hair has had its fair share of damage from being coloured since I was 14 and genuinely this product has done wonders at making it look and feel like it did pre all of the damage the smell is just fabulous and it lasts for days and my hair looks glossy and healthy absolutely love this

Amazing colour protect shampoo

I dye my hair with a box dye and I found that using this shampoo along with it really helped retain the colour. When I switched to this shampoo and conditioner the next morning I had forgot I had switched and my hair looked lovely silky soft and my curls had dried amazing and not frizzy and I realised it was down to the shampoo!

Protects your colour and you hair!

This shampoo not only protects your colour, it protects your hair. It has a UV filter to reduce sun damage as well as colour fade. My colour lasts so much longer when I use this. I love using bright colours. You can regularly see me sporting a pink or bright red dip dye and with this I don't need to worry about my colour fading and looking washed out.

Good for maintenance

This shampoo has been great for maintaining my blond balayage and means I don't have to use purple shampoo as often. It has a lovely smell as do all Elvive products. My hair feels fresh and lasts a few days between washes

Lovely lathering shampoo

Lovely shampoo! The smell is lovely and leaves hair feeling actually clean once used. I love a shampoo that lathers up which this one does, allowing for salon style feeling when I was my hair. Paired well with the conditioner too.

Leaves hair feeling stripped and rough but clean!

I haven't had the shampoo long enough to tell whether or not it protects my colour but what I have noticed is that my hair feels 'rough' after shampooing. Now that may mean it is washing the hair well and removing all the added hair products but it actually feels like it's stripped

Lovely fragrance

The one star is for the fragrance, really lovely. But it washes my colour off and it contains silicon (dimethicone) which in the long run makes your hair fall off. Also, after a day or two, my scalp gets itchy.

L'Oréal Colour Protect Shampoo lathers well and my hair felt clean after. I used the conditioner too and my hair looked glossy after drying. I had dyed my hair the week before and the shampoo and conditioner seem to colour protect. I’ve only used it a few times so can't really say if it leaves intense colour upto 40 washes. I don't think it's as moisturising as some of their other shampoos.

An amazing hair shampoo for coloured hair

I’m really impressed from the quality of this shampoo. It smells amazing & a small amount makes so much foam. It helps me to look my hair shinny, silky & smooth and most importantly I observed it help coloured hair lasting long than usual

This has been my go to product since I first reviewed it a few years ago. I've found that with this shampoo a little goes a long way. It leaves my hair feeling clean, shiny, it does protect my colour, and leaves my hair feeling very soft. It also rinses out easily, and doesn't leave me with an itchy scalp.

Gorgeous smelling halr and longer lasting colour

I started using this shampoo (and matching conditioner) straight after colouring my hair and used for over a month. Only a small amount is needed to create a rich nourishing lather that leaves gair feeling soft and clean. I love the scent of the shampoo too, and others also compliment me on how good my hair smelt. I did notice that my hair colour (a deep red) looked more vibrant for longer and my hair looked healthy and glossy. I will continue to use this range.

I found this product to be a bit too harsh for my sensitive scalp. It did make my hair feel nice but my scalp got greasier a bit quicker than it does with my usual shampoo. For others, I think it would be ok, hence the three star review.

Love this shampoo. I thought I’d test it a couple of days after having my hair coloured and see how it lasted. It’s now a month later and I’m happy to say it has lasted very well! I don’t do anything else really to my hair to keep colour so I’m putting it down to this!

This shampoo is great. It smells lovely and it leaves my hair feeling soft and shiny. I colour my hair and I find that after a few weeks my hair colour doesn't look as vibrant but with this shampoo and the matching conditioner my hair colour comtinued to look vibrant and fresh.

Firstly, it smelled so good. L’Oréal shampoo always smells fab! The shampoo worked really nicely, it cleansed the hair and scalp properly without stripping it of all goodness. Certainly didn’t seem to be losing any colour while using so it’s a win

This colour protect shampoo is amazing. It lathers up well, smells lovely & a littke goes a long way. It makes my hair soft without any frizzness. It also keeps you colour locked & therefore it reduces fading. I would recommend it.

Protects colour and leaves hair shining and soft. I have noticed after a few washes that my coloured hair isn’t fading as it would with a standard shampoo. It also has left my hair feeling very very soft and smooth which is of course a positive.

When I switched to this shampoo and conditioner the next morning I had forgot I had switched and my hair looked lovely silky soft and my curls had dried amazing and not frizzy and I realised it was down to the shampoo!

My colour lasts so much longer when I use this. I love using bright colours. You can regularly see me sporting a pink or bright red dip dye and with this I don't need to worry about my colour fading and looking washed out.

I haven't had the shampoo long enough to tell whether or not it protects my colour but what I have noticed is that my hair feels 'rough' after shampooing. Now that may mean it is washing the hair well and removing all the added hair products but it actually feels like it's stripped

I used the conditioner too and my hair looked glossy after drying. I had dyed my hair the week before and the shampoo and conditioner seem to colour protect. I’ve only used it a few times so can't really say if it leaves intense colour upto 40 washes. I don't think it's as moisturising as some of their other shampoos.

Only a small amount is needed to create a rich nourishing lather that leaves gair feeling soft and clean. I love the scent of the shampoo too, and others also compliment me on how good my hair smelt. I did notice that my hair colour (a deep red) looked more vibrant for longer and my hair looked healthy and glossy. I will continue to use this range.

It’s now a month later and I’m happy to say it has lasted very well! I don’t do anything else really to my hair to keep colour so I’m putting it down to this!

Helps to protect after colouring and in my case bleached hair. Smells amazing and hair and scalp feel super clean. Note that the bottle is now refillable too, better for your hair and the environment!

I think they are the equivalent of expensive ones at a lower price. This smells amazing and leaves my hair soft and silky. Hair is freshly died but only use it 2 times so can’t comment on lasting 40 washes….i think that’s what the message is in the bottle. For my long hair surely can’t get 40washes if that bottle. All in all super happy and I will recommend.
