Men Expert Men Expert Sensitive Control 48H Deodorant Roll On

I don't ask much from a deodorant, and I've never really understood the need for more than 24 hour protection (aren't most people showering everyday), but if a product claims to have 48 hour protection(?!?!) I don't expect to feel sweaty and smelling of BO by the end of the working day. Now I wanted this product to work, and all I asked was for it to "work" until I showered the next morning. I liked the fact it was aluminium free, and I didn't mind the scent, although it was a bit "woody" which I assume is because of the Birch Tree Sap. However when it doesn't do the one thing that I want from an antiperspirant, I'm afraid that this deodorant didn't last a week. I admire the effort to remove something like Aluminium from antiperspirant but it needs to work, and this does not work.

I run my own property maintenance and refurbishment copmany which means lots on hands on manual labour, hot and humid environments and generally working up a sweat on a daily basis. I need an effective longlasting deodorant which can stop me sweating under armpits and avoids the nasty wet pits look you can get from some deodorants. I also work with the general public and am highly conscious of the need to smell fresh and look professional and presentable at all times. My usual choice would be an antiperspirant spray for maximum protection as I find deodorant usually just masks sweaty smells rather than minimises or prevents sweating. I thought I would give the L'Oreal Men Expert New Sensitive Control Deodorant a go as it claimed 48 hour protection and the 0% Alcohol and 0% Aluminium Salts piqued my curiosity. The deodorant was in a roll on 50ml bottle with a clear screw cap. The labelling is minimal and unassuming but it also tells you exactly what you should expect from the product. As you can see from the attached photos L'Oreal claim it has sensitive control, contains no alcohol or aluminium salts and 48H which, upon researching further, means 48 hour control. You must shake well before use. The ingredients are clearly displayed on the back of the roll on. The clear cap is easy to unscrew and I found it was best to move the ball roller with your fingers before use (holding the roll on upside to allow the deodorant liquid to cover the ball) otherwise the hairs under your arms quickly and painfully become trapped in the roll on. The ball is coated with a thin white moisturiser type liquid. The liquid is incredibly fresh and pleasant smelling, similar to fresh linen, ocean scent. It applies evenly although I still found I trapped underarm hair in the roll on which was unpleasant. It dried quickly and did not feel tacky or sticky. I was impressed with its staying power as by the end of yet another sweaty day but underarm area was still dry and there was a lingering fresh smell from the roll on. I have normal skin but I liked the fact that this roll on felt it was moisturising my skin. I did not notice any side effects from using this product and it felt gentle on my skin. I haven't worn the product for 48 hours so cannot say for certain that this would last for a full 48 hours but I can say it worked well on a 14 hour day. I was really surprised and pleased to see a deodorant as opposed to an antiperspirant keeping me dry and without the need for alcohol or aluminum salts. I have been using this daily for a few weeks now and a little goes a long way. It feels as though I have only use about 10% of the product so this looks like this is going to be a value for money product. The only downsides I experienced were as follows. First, the fact that the roller ball mechanism catches the hair under my arms on a frequent basis which is most unpleasant and is one of the main reasons I do not usually use a roll on. Secondly, I noticed over a couple of weeks use the roller ball started to collect little bits of lint and or fluff which causes the ball roller to snag and catch. The final downside was the fact that the ball does get stuck over long term use and this means you have to push the ball with your fingers to get it going again else risk pulling out hairs from under your arm when you go to use it. Since purchasing the roll on I have discovered L'Oreal also offer this product as a 250ml spray which I have purchased and can say I am delighted with. Overall I would recommend the roll on is best for those who do not have any or alot of under arm hair (or who don't mind the hair getting occasionally trapped in the roller ball mechanism) and would have no hesitations in recommending the spray version.

Ive used my roll on for past couple of days and I am very surprised by the results. I don't do roll on deodorant but I may think twice with this one as through work/Gym/running it continues to keep me dry compared to previous roll on I've used in past. Fully recommend this product for anyone sceptical.

So I've been trying out the L'Oréal Men Expert Sensitive Control deodorant for the last three weeks. First off, it's still going strong which in my opinion is fairly decent. I know from experience that compressed deodorants just don't seem to last! XXL in contents! I've not used a roll on deodorant in years, perhaps the XXL also stands for the size of the roller head, it's a good size - didn't feel to flimsy or tiny. Man size right? In terms of longevity, I've been using it everyday so I can't say truly if one application lasts 48hrs but I'm confident that after a hard day at work I'm sweat patch and smell free. It's great that I don't have a fog of deodorant in the morning and if I pop it on when wearing a shirt I don't worry about unslightly marks on my clothes. I can be a little chilly on application but that's got to be the same across the board, and sometimes the rollerball gets a little bit dry and needs rubbing to get it going again. I guess it's probably running low. More importantly it smells really great, I can smell the deodorant periodically during the day which is reassuring to know it's still going strong!

I have never been a rollie! Ever in fact. But this had changed my mind. With a spray it can often leave you dry and itchy but this roll on helps keep the area nice and soft and removes all of the irritable elements of a spray on. The smell is unbelievable, it some how doesn't smell like a standard deodorant, it's a soft, luxurious smell associated with aftershaves. And it lasts all day at work. Another plus with this, it doesn't fill the gym changing room nor bedroom with a plume of fragrance and as I have asthma finding something adequate for the job and doesn't lead to inhaler time afterwards is such a huge bonus to my life.

I've used the new L'Oreal Men Expert Sensitive Control 48H Deodorant daily for 3 weeks now and I'm impressed by the way it keeps my under arms dry. The important things I look for in a deodorant is a) it keeps me dry and b) it doesn't stain my clothes. There is nothing worse than patches in your pits lol. But this new 50ML Hydra Sensitive Deodorant kept me dry and free of stains. Excellent! Because it's a roll on, it also stops me sneezing and coughing every time I use it something I'm familiar with priviously using sprays. I don't have particularly sensitive skin but have had no redness or irritation using this like with some roll ons I've used in the past. This is definitely a product I would recommend to a friend and I will be purchasing again in the future. Overall a good product. Not the best smell in the world but hay that's what aftershave is for.

When I received the L'Oreal Men Expert Sensitive Control 48H Deodorant, I wasn't expecting much. I have used roll ons before and found them to be ineffective. I gave this product a try without predjudice. At first glance it looks like a normal roll on. I opened the lid and the first thing I noticed was the smell. It was a nice, clean, crisp smell. that was a positive. I tried it everyday after a shower to give it the best possible chance. I thought the 48 hour claim would be really useful and as I have a physical job, I had the perfect opportunity to test it. It went on smoothly and I didn't get any reaction from the product. It felt wet for about a minute but seemed to dry quite quickly. Sadly, after about 5 hours I started to get the familiar 'man whiff.' I was disappointed with this due to the 48 hour protection label. I tried it every day for 7 days, with the same results. Now, for clarification, I am not a particularly stinky person, infact I think I'm fairly average. Although the product smelt nicely and the application was smooth, I was disappointed that the main job for this product failed. It didn't convince me to change from spray on deodorant, so I wouldn't buy this product in the future.

I was after a decent roll-on that smelt nice and lasted during the day. Having a busy hectic lifestyle L'oreal roll-on did a decent job in catering for the needs of a decent roll-on. Smell isn't too over-powerful, and size makes it last too.

As you will see from my photo, I use a lot of deodorant sprays (not roll ons) and I have done this for years due to not really getting on well with roll ons before. I have always felt wet and sticky and within a few hours, I just feel sweaty and most of the time body odour would still get through. Unfortunately this new L'Oréal roll on failed to change my mind. I have given it 3 stars due to its appearance and smell and the fact it is one of the better roll ons I have tried...it still however did not make me feel as dry and clean as my current normal antiperspirant sprays so it does mean I will not be continueing to use the product. My partner used the roll on also and agreed that sprays felt better and less ..wet. Good job L'Oréal but for me, I have not been converted quite yet !

in my opinion, this roll on works quite well. I work in a high activity job where I'm constantly on the move and lots of Heavy lifting. it seems to have stood up to the challenge where some that I've used have failed to do so. the smell does down after a while but the protection has stayed for the day. if your always on the move and would like something that takes hardly any room in your bag/locker then I would definitely recommend it

I was quite keen to try the Loreal Hydra Sensitive deodorant as i travel a lot with work and then when i am home i do martial arts, i thought this might be a perfect fit for me. First impressions were that Loreal has a great brand, having used their products before i was confident that this was going to be another great product, the roll on felt good, was smooth and even in its application. Throughout the day i didn't notice any issues with sensitivity which is a good things as this is something i suffer with, the scent was quite mild and very pleasant. The only negative i found was that the 48H was a bit misleading, it's certainly no antiperspirant as i found that by the evening i needed to reapply or i would feel a little self confident. Overall a good deodorant, handy sized and great if you have sensitive skin but i wouldn't rely on it for 48 hours.

After trying the new Hydra Sensitive Deodorant roll-on I have to say I am impressed. I normally opt for an antiperspirant and avoid 'sensitive versions. Maybe it's because I don't need 'sensitive' versions or that I don't expect 'sensitive' products to be as potent or effective? Thing is I didn't realise this was a sensitive deodorant until a couple of weeks into using it, I guess that says a lot for it's effectiveness? I'm pretty impressed and would definitely use this in future. For those who wish to know, the smell is masculine and fragrant but light and not overbearing at all. I had no issues with marks on clothes and it does last all day. Also, even though this is a deodorant, it seems to work perfectly well as an antiperspirant. Definitely a contender on my future grooming list.

This is a great roll on, I prefer roll on to deodorant as it is less harsh on the skin. Does everything t says in the tin very well indeed.

I saw this L'Oreal Mens Expert Hydra Senstive 48 hour roll on and gave it a try for a week. I always use antiperspirant as roll ons normally make me itch. I must say it was a great find as not only did it smell nice it did not make me itch one bit. Great product L'Oreal

I am so happy with this product. As a Deoderant I cannot fault it. I am a 19 stone man who sweats, slot, until I began using this roll on. Even when playing squash on a Wednesday night this does the trick. I have one single issue and that is that when applying the roll on doesn't distribute very well. It can take a few wipes to get anything and when you do usually loads comes out in one go. That is a very petty gripe and to be honest I am far more happy with its performance as a Deoderant.

Roll-on deodorant has never really appealed to me, though the L'Oreal Men Expert Hydra Sensitive does have its perks: it's easy to carry around and is not bulky, which makes it ideal for when at work or at the gym; it's also leaves a nice, clean feeling and smell - and no noticeable marks or sticky feeling which has always been an annoyance in the past! However, those perks fail in comparison to my usual deodorant/antiperspirant spray which I feel do the job more effectively and more noticeably (for example, I don't think the fresh feeling and smell last that long despite the stated 48 hour protection). If you're a fan of roll-on deodorant then this could be for you; if not, this is unlikely to make you a convert.

I am made up with this roll on. I have avoided them for years thinking roll ons just weren't for me and were a bit old fashioned. However, this one smells and feels so good. I put it on in the morning and it lasts all day smelling great. I would recommend this to anyone. If you like roll ons you will love this. If you don't use them then try this. It might just change your mind like me!

My first impression of this product was the lush smell, it was fresh and smelt clean. I found the fragrance very pleasing yet it was not overpowering and allowed me to continue to wear other scented products. I am a little sceptical about 48 hour claims however even though not tested for the full 48 hours after 12 hours of wear I still felt fresh and smelt good! So I can see this product meeting the 48 hour freshness claims. I am prone to sensitive skin and this product even after applying liberally did not cause any reaction and left my skin feeling supple and soft. The roll on is compact which enables it to be stashed away in the gym bag and the travel wash bag. The roll on mechanism was flawless and did not provide too much liquid nor too little which I have found to be an issue in the past. Overall a great smelling, thanks to the fresh woody fragrance, and a does what it says on the pack product. No faff just a great product. I would purchase this product.

Well I've never used a roll on before and always thought they were for woman. I was therefore keen to test this out to see if it worked as good as my normal spray deodorant. The package is small and a great size you can take with you anywhere i.e. In my work bag, sports bag and doesn't take up too much room. The design is manly and it wouldn't be mistaken for a woman's product. Now to actually testing the product. It easily rolled on under my arms although I didn't like the feel as I have hairy arm pits! I wasn't sure how much deodorant actually went into my skin rather than sticking to my under arm hair therefore it left me wondering how well it would work. The smell was good so I was optimistic. Off to the gym I went fur a good workout and sweat test. I was s little disappointed with the outcome as though I felt it did stop me getting as sweaty if I weren't to wear any type of deodorant, I didn't feel it protected me good enough therefore I was a little smelly. I feel this was due to it being a roll on and it not making sufficient contact on my skin. I feel it may work better on those less hairy men lol

What is there to say about the deodorant other than I does exactly what it say on the label. It smells great and does appear to be very gentle and kind to my skin, I would say it did a better job than most spray on deodorants in terms of stopping me from sweating to much. The only real annoyance is it can sometimes take a little while before the deodorant starts to cover the ball but apart from that I would thoroughly recommend.

I normally use a spray but after using this roll on applicator found it quite easy and straightforward to use it was not wet and sticky rolled on easily as it has a large applicator. I never left it for 48 hours but it certainly had no problem lasting 24 hours. The product has a nice smell and not to overpowering.

Every time I purchase deodorant, I will opt for a spray - no reason why, I always have done. This is the first time I've used a roll-on and I must say, it's great to use. The rollerball makes it so easy to apply and I've not experienced any stickiness or jammed ball that I've been told can (sometimes) occur. The smell is pleasant and not overbearing and certainly not as intrusive to apply in an environment such as the office like a spray is. I can't comment on the fragrance lasting 48 hours - I put it on in the morning before I work a 12 hour shift and always have a shower when I get in, but certainly the fragrance is still noticeable 13 hours after applying. Would definitely purchase once my stock of spray is exhausted

ThThis deodorant is superb for anyone with dry skin like myself it doesn't leave any marks on the skin like some deodorants. The durability of it is awesome I played football and when I had finished I didn't smell the deodorant was strong enough to combat that. The roller ball doesn't trap any hair and it doesn't get stuck. I will definitely use this again.

I have never been one to buy a roll on deodorant. I find them unhygienic, dirty and only last a few weeks before they become crusty and unusable. This one is a game changer with its most noticeable pleasant smell from the start. It gives off a sweet aroma instead of a heavily sterile smell found in other brands. With no alcohol or salts it's makes for comfortable feel for hours after application. Not once have I had a sticky sensation after applying and it doesn't hold or attract dirt either. With a 48 hour smell life this hold perfect for a man like me who is always on the go. Never would I go 48 without a shower but this timeframe gives the product the strength to eliminate smells and odours for the entire 10-12 hours before my next shower. The packaging is a bog standard as with many other brands but with its brilliant white colour it's definitely stands out.

Since using L'Oréal Men Expert Sensitive Control 48H Roll On Deodorant I have found myself smelling of body odour more frequently than when I was using my usual deodorant. I was hoping it would be good but unfortunately I do not feel this is working for 48 hours but may be just 6.

Unfortunately I can not give a positive rate. Antiperspirant didn't work for me. Doesn't provide protection against sweat at work or at the gym. The package has a nice smell, but do not feel it after application.

Having used L'Oreal Men Expert Deodorant Spray for as long as I care to remember I was looking forward to being able to trial the XXL Roll-on version. I have tried roll-on deodorants before but always found them to leak or give either no deodorant or too much when used. To my relief this actually performed rather well!! The deodorant came out steadily and only when I used it, not when it was in my bedside table draw. The XXL head also makes it easy to apply under the arms giving maximum coverage in just a couple of 'swoops'. The smell, as with the spray versions, is great: perfumed but manly and I noticed it still smelt when it came to bed time (always a bonus!!). The one downside that I found was using it anywhere other than under arms. When I use my spray I give my body a quick 'shot' or spray as well as the armpit. Not so easy with the roll-on. Snaking the stick around your body to try to get enough coverage seems too much like a chore compared with their sprays. All in all though, if you don't need body coverage, this is a surprisingly great product!

Not normally as massive fan of roll ons, I was looking forward to trying out the L'oreal hydra sensitive one. As an avid runner I am always in need of a good deodorant. Firstly this one smells great. Better than I've had in a long time. But most importantly it works. After giving it a good work out over last week or so I have really noticed how good it is. Especially after runs or a hard days work. It keeps my arm pits dry even when the rest of me is sweating. (I sweat easily and a lot) with no sign of a rash or red marks which some brands give me. I'll definitely continue to use this.

This is a great product, compact for travel, good design and does exactly what it says on the bottle. Has kept me dry whilst using and not irritated my sensitive skin, would recommend to all my friends scent is pleasant, and for me enough as I tend to use deodorant spray and aftershave also. however some may prefer the stronger scented version . For those with sensitive skin this is now the only roll on I would recommend and use

Its a nice big bottle, easily applied, some roll ons dry up quickly but this doesnt seem to and has always worked every morning for me! Has done the job and prevented any smell. States it can protect for upto 48 hours it does indeed although im not usually that smelly a person, would recommend.
