1021 is the perfect blonde for me

Love this shade. I’ve used the L’Oreal Casting range for years and didn’t realise they did a lighter shade than 1010. That’s because it’s not available on the High Street (which I find really odd!). I have mousy blonde / brown hair and this lightens it well, without going too yellow / orange. I apply a wella ashy / pearl blonde toner on top and the result is a light blonde shade, free from brassiness. It’s easy to apply and lasts a good few weeks. Just ensure you use a rich conditioner, so your hair doesn’t dry out.

Too harsh for fine hair

Ruined the condition my fine dark blonde wavy hair. Lightened it far more shades than what it said on the box for dark blondes, but left it really brassy and in fragile condition. Second time using a casting creme gloss and I find it worse for my hair type even though it claims to be better because of no ammonia. Definitely have used far better box dyes. Waiting for it to grow out now
