I use this colour regularly to cover my grey, however used on its own I end up with hair that’s very close to black. I usually mix it with 513 that gives me an ashy brown rather than nearly black

My mum liked this colour & preferred it to the licorice black. it was very ashy much lighter colour than the 1 before. It was nice but I don’t know if I liked the ashy tones & put another colour on.

This is my perfect hair colour shade! My hair is dark brown and goes light/red in the sun. This dye made it a gorgeous all over dark brown with no red tones in sight. It was simple, easy to use and smelt gorgeous. My hair felt in really good condition after application and it lasted a good couple of months

A lovely rich dark brown colour. Easy to use offering full coverage. Covered my grey hairs well, other colourant struggle with stubborn greys. I will use this again. 2 boxes needed due to the length of my hair- its half way down my back for reference

Not as advertised 'cool'

I usually go for darkest brown in the same product which is great. I tried this colour out, as it mentions a cool colour, and that it removes the warm tones from the hair. I knew as soon as I put it on it was a mistake. The creme was very red and when I washed this out my hair was a very warm brown. Alot of red tones in there. Then to add to my disappointment it died my bed sheets red and also my t-shirt I was wearing (even after 2 hair washes). This has never happened with the other loreal casting creme in the colour I normally use. (darkest brown). Do not be fooled like me into thinking this doesn't have a red colour to it. I would describe it was warm dark brown.

This hair dye went a lot further than I thought. I have long hair, so usually need 2 boxes. One box covered my head fine, very impressed. The dye itself was nice and smooth, easily applied and very pigmented. Left it for the allotted time, washed out, which actually came out very easily. The conditioner smells amazing, makes me think of holidays abroad! The end result was brilliant, great coverage on the greys, nice and even, and a lovely shade, definitely pick this up next time.

I’m a huge fan of coconut and love the benifits it brings when using on my hair/body etc so I was excited to try this hair dye and really wasn’t disappointed.My hair never felt or looked damaged which can happen after dying my hair.
The colour is a really beautiful rich dark shade and I was very happy with the outcome.
The packaging is also appealing,colourful & informative.
Definitely a hair dye I would use again & would highly recommend.

Beautiful, radiant color and gentle yet long lasting formula. Product is great for any hair type and one bottle easily can cover even very long hair (mine are almost waist length). Covers perfectly and leaves hair shiny and not damaged at all. It is nice cool tone too. A but on dark side which I like. Recommend.

This is a really easy to use and quick semi permanent hair dye. Easy to follow instructions and easy to mix. Its scent wasn't over bearing. It was quick to apply and I only needed to leave it on for 20 mins, which was great. One pack was enough to cover my long hair. I didn't like the gloves, they were a bit too small. It was hard to rinse out and took so long. I liked the conditioner that I used at the end. I like that it was in a bottle and had a coconut fragrance. The colour result was darker than I expected. It's darker than the pack says it should be. But it will fade with each was so I'm not too worried. My hair was left very shiny when I dried it.
Overall it was a nice semi permanent dye.

Fantastic colour with real death n shine ! Extremely easy to use no mess and leaves hair feeling soft ! As with all dark colours the only negative would be if your really grey/white the roots can go ever so slightly lighter than the rest of the hair but with this one I’ve hardly noticed ! Easy to use, even colour distribution, and the conditioner feels luxurious on your hair.
I put one star for fragrance as hair dye NEVER smells good. The conditioner smells yummy though.
I'm not sure if it will hold out for the 28 washes estimated, but so far this is a very satisfying product.

I love this hair colour. I was very surprised that a non permanent hair colour can cover up grey hair. It was simple to use and easy to apply. The conditioner smelt nice. This colour is so beautiful and glossy!
I much prefer cool toned shades on my skin tone and this might just be the perfect one. So pleased with the result!

Good overall cover left my hair soft shiny and manageable. Colour is impressive and hope it will also well and not wash out too quickly!!

Definitely one of the best non-salon dyes I've used. Gives good coverage, easy to use, lovely shiny finish. Fantastic value!
