Casting Crème Gloss

I recently used the new formula for colour 306. It's made my hair really brassy and seems to have dyed it rather than just colouring it. It's not washing out, it just gets more orange with each wash. Bring back the old formula please. It was a great product. The new formula is terrible and I won't risk using it again.

Been using this hair dye for years and have always been really happy. Got confused looking for medium brown now though as it is now called 500 Light Brown. Be careful as it is not , it is medium brown. Their new conditioner does not work for my hair. It left it frizzy and hard to style. The previous honey conditioner was so much better. I wish they had left the previous hair dye alone .

It lasts well and takes a good 26 washes to wash out. It’s exactly what it should be … a darkest brown hair dye. So many are either too light and have a red tinge or are black. This is the best truest darkest brown hair dye. I’ve used for years and wouldn’t use anything else.

Been using this for years. Very simple and effective. Not as harsh as permanent dyes.

Non-harsh and perfect colour to top up my dark hair. Doesn't hurt my scalp and sting my eyes as others do. Bargain batch purchase.

I like this colour not too dark. But I find it is not always in stock and when on buy two offer there is only 1 on the shelf...

my hair is BLACK not dark brown. i am beyond upset.

colour looks natural enough. dark shades best used if you have a reasonable amount of hair left. semi permanent washes out gradually so you dont get a definite line of white/ grey appearing on the top of the head.

I've used this twice and love the color. I'm naturally dark and had blonde hair before using this and it looks incredible. I just don't know what shade I'd be in the permanent colour so a bit stuck

Good for people who want a gentle hair product that does not have ammonia in it. I am a regular user of the product.

I have used 513 Iced Truffle for years and loved it but sadly the formula must have changed because suddenly I appear to have almost black hair - desperately trying to find another shade but have had to go much lighter to counteract the dark..

Always buy this as it’s great for covering my grey roots every couple of weeks.

I bought and used this dye sometime last year and have used it a few times since. I purposefully bought this because it was semi-permanent and knew that I'd want to change up my hair again soon enough so I didn't want anything too permanent to allow for this. After 3 months and way past 28 washes later, my hair was still the same colour and did not fade one bit. I ended up using this again for my roots and again after that. Now the problem occurred over this past weekend when I finally decided its time for a change so I bought a hair stripper and the permanent nutrisse ginger hair colour which is supposed to work even on dark brown and black hair. I used the hair stripper.....the colour did not come out. I then proceeded to dye my hair the following day....bright ginger roots and practically black hair! This colour would absolutely not budge what so ever. I figured that I did my best and Id just go back and get my usual dye being this one but in a slightly lighter colour (chocolate brown)......well, I ended up having an allergic reaction where my scalp was red raw and bleeding. Turns out the time before I had a milder reaction to it but I have a sensitive scalp anyway so I didn't think it was a reaction. Anyway, the point is this is a great dye if you don't want it to come out. It is very conditioning and doesn't dry your hair out, but be careful and definitely test it before using it! I personally will not be using this dye anymore but it is a good dye if you don't care to wash it out.

Colour- I used 'Iced Truffle 513'. It does come out darker than the box colour, but I wanted my hair dark again so I am happy with it. I would say go a shade lighter if you really don't want a dark colour. It does fade slightly with every wash, but after 2 and half months the colour was still looking nice and not too brassy as I used to cover old balayage. Use - Easy to use, gloves are a bit tight and one pair ripped. I needed to use two boxes for full coverage, but my hair is fairly long and quite thick. Grey coverage- not great, if you are looking to cover a substantial amount of grey hair I would avoid this product. My greys are slightly less obvious but still visible. Overall I am happy with how the colour turned out and I have used it twice now. It is very easy to work with and left my hair feeling and looking good.

This has saved me from looking ancient during lockdown with no hairdressers. It's easy to use, pretty good coverage, and leaves your hair feeling really soft and looking really shiny. I am allergic to lots of things and most hair dye stains my pale skin terribly (always shocks the hairdressers). I am neither allergic to this, nor do I get terrible stained skin. I've seen the bad reviews....not sure why you would complain that a brown hair dye has turned your hair brown. It kind of says it on the box. If you have dark brown hair and want to keep the grey at bay, I think this is a pretty good choice.

did absolutely nothing to my hair!! i followed every step, step by step and the end result is just my natural hair!! wont be buying again.

Love this hair dye, it covers all greys really well! It can go a bit dark if you have very porous hair but it works well for me

Bought this expecting it to be every so slightly darker then my natural colour. My hair is almost black and dull and flat. Looks awful very disappointing. Plus the gloves are ridiculously small.

Nice dye, easy to use and short dying time, I have very dark hair but this colour has left it looking black. Will not use again.

I've been buying this product and colour for several years. I'm very happy with it. Leaves a lovely shine and condition. Starts off a little darker than shown on the box, but fine after the second wash. Covers grey for a few weeks. It's very close to my own hair colour, but I use this to tone down my red/ginger highlights, which I don't like with my skin tone.

The colour is nothing like one box, I ended up with very dark brown dull hair. It was my first the the last time.

Wish I'd read the reviews before purchasing, I've been using this brand for years and used similar colours with no issue so was surprised when when my hair came out orange! Emergency late night trip back to Boots with a huge hat to dye my hair again! Please stop selling this shade! Not usually one to write reviews but felt a duty to warn other women before they ruin their hair to!

I bought the Sweet Honey casting creme gloss about a week ago to cover up a nasty dye job (eek!). At the time I had dark blonde hair with horrible white blonde highlights so i thought this would blend them together more. The product itself did not feel stingy or irritable at all and the process was fairly easy. However, i was expecting a honey blonde colour and instead my hair is now... Ginger. Then again, it did give my hair a glossy look and the colour is quite lovely. If you buy this product i recommend doing a testing patch. If ginger is not your thing i would try something else.
